Oooh. This one isn't going to be easy one.
Hello everyone, ladies; gents; people; phantoms; espers etc. (see what I did there?)
Welcome, to a new review.
Now, usually when it comes to (my) reviews, I usually score the anime first before going straight into review to get a good enough idea of how exactly I should write it out. However, at the time of writing this review, I have no score I can give to Mob Psycho 100 because of one simple reason; I have no idea how to feel about this series.
Let me explain.
Plot:
Mob Psycho 100 revolves around a young boy (apparently a 14
...
year old child), Kageyama Shigeo (a.k.a "Mob"), who has psychic powers. Yes, when I say psychic powers I do indeed mean the bending spoon trick we all wanted to master at one point in our life. Ever since childhood, he was capable of bending spoons and lifting objects in the air. However, one day an accident occurred, which caused Mob to hide his powers and try to live a normal life as a normal kid. Along with his mentor, Reigen Arataka (who is a normal human being btw), Mob lives his life as a normal 8th grader and works alongside of Reigen to help him exorcise yokai because...you know, Reigen is pretty useless. That is, until Mob's younger brother (Kageyama Ritsu), accidentally gets himself involved into some awful shit.
Of course, the story is pretty straight forwards and can seem pretty bland to anyone who have seen animes with similar synopsis, however, there is just a bit more to that. By the time this review is up, Mob psycho 100 has ended, but there's possibility that more will come. Let’s all hope that more WILL come or I’m sure we will all lose our minds.
Original author of the comic (ONE), seems to have way more in store for us than the anime left us with (also I'm pretty sure the manga is still on-going but I don't read mangas), making me believe that there is way more to this plot than what we were left with on episode 12.
See, this is where my problem begins; last time I've watched an anime like this (meaning it ended on a cliff-hanger), it left me with exactly same feeling as I felt for MP100 (that anime was Bungou stray dogs and S2 is already here to save us), it felt kinda rushed and unfinished, but at the same time it felt like the anime completed something. It’s like you've played a video game, won and had ability to go back to your normal routine before the action of the game started. Its looping back on itself but it’s rewarding at the same time, it gives you an idea that you've gone a long way and now it’s time for you to live your life like it was before, with a small changes or something like this.
Of course, a lot of people will call this cheap and/or very unoriginal. I can see where these people would come from, as this seems like an awful ending to something that might’ve took them 6 episodes to really get into (which is a huge negative but I will get into that later), it doesn’t feel rewarding them and that is all ok. Not everyone is going to like this type of ending, it really is hard to like the anime after that, and makes you feel like you just wasted few hours (or maybe days) watching this anime only to have a middle finger thrown at you.
However, as much as I would like to say that I agree with these people, I cannot. Here’s why:
I personally spent two days to finish this anime, getting up to episode 8, as soon realising that I was in love with it so much that it felt awful for it suddenly end on me. And I would like to underline that I went into this anime knowing I will love it yet my expectations were already low. The reason behind it is because of the fact that if the anime is highly hyped, it usually makes people who really aren't hyped about feel like this anime is really just overrated. That’s basically how I felt when first starting this anime.
At the very beginning of this whole thing, I literally sat and had stared at the screen before putting my hands on my face. I really didn’t want to watch it. So why did I watch it in the end? The plot honestly pulled me in, and I really didn't except for it to do, and maybe this is why I cannot agree with people who said that it’s cheap and/or basic. MP100 gave me something I really needed for a while and that is a stable Anime Plot.
Visuals/sound track:
To anyone who never watched One Punch man but watched Mob Psycho 100 (or vice versa), ONE is the author of the two animes/mangas. Of course, his style isn't the best and it seems like an amateur work when looked by art critics, but ONE managed to create quite good webcomics. Of course, his style is still visible in the animes themselves, at times even looking exactly like ONE's style, but of course with wonderful magical hands of Bones studios; we get a decent looking animes with a decent animation.
I’m going to be 100% honest though, the animation style reminded me so much of MADHOUSE that I almost said that this anime was created by MADHOUSE. Please forgive me Studio Bones, you make great animations but you and MADHOUSE really have similar styles in some cases //SOBBING.
Of course, when it comes to animation, at times it can get so smooth it doesn't seem to fit the style itself, those occasions are rare however. It is very difficult to have a pleasing style and good animation to work with it, especially when the original style doesn't exactly look like something you would see a professional animator do (I apologize for criticizing ONE so much, please don't kill me, but he really does need to improve).
Of course, I gave the art/animation a 6 out of 10 as it was pleasing to the eyes and managed to make my blood pump so hard I thought I'm gonna have a stroke. The animation was able to make my head hurt as so much adrenaline was running through it, and believe me when I say that not many animes are able to do that. Sure, there was some good action in Tokyo ghoul; attack on titan and FMA brotherhood (to name few popular ones), but I don't think these were able to give me the same vibe as MP100 did.
Whenever it comes to sound track, I usually rely on my bad music tastes to help me out, but so far I couldn't listen to any of the tracks and let my music taste take over as some of the soundtrack sounded better than the other. And I'm saying this after hearing the OST in the anime itself (I really need to listen to real OST, don't I?). Problem with me is that I hate to listen to OST outside of the anime as it seems out of place. Without characters talking or some sound effects breaking in to muffle the sound track, it just feels weird. It might just be, but it’s better for me to judge a soundtrack while its playing in the background as the anime goes, rather than listen to it separately. If I were to judge it however, I would say that OP; ED and OST were good. I wouldn't have rated it otherwise- That is, really all I can say about this part.
Can we just say how the OP is literally by MOB CHOIR and it’s called “99”?
Like, only time this number is said is at the very end.
Eh, whatever, the op is catchy enough to keep me glued to it even as I am writing this review.
//JAMS TO OP

THIS ONE IS GONNA BE DIFFICULT.
Mob.
Omfw, I will sound like a worst fangirl ever, but I fucking love Mob. Like that episode WHEN HE WORE PINK HOODIE, HE LOOKED SO CUTE LIKE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Also, he is like the cutest Cinnamon Roll that gets serious only when he wants to, and he’s been raised by a fucking faker to be a gentleman, HE DIDN'T WANTED TO FIGHT A WOMAN. Little baby needs hugs I swear to World. Oh, don’t piss him off though, he will fight you and fuck you up. Like, stay on his good side and hope to all that you love that his explosion meter didn't hit 100% (or that he didn't pass out on you, not even God will save your ass once he’s out). If I do this meme with 3 fictional characters being used as a description of me, I would totally use him. ALSO HE APPARENTLY HAS ANEMIA, I NEVER FELT LIKE I CAN RELATE TO A CHARACTER SO MUCH BEFORE!
My heart is killing me, omfw.
//DEAD
Ok, Fangirl mode is off.
Ok I am 100% serious now, I did like seeing Mob being that naive little kid that forgives way too easily and follows his mentor like a lost puppy (I can't, I just imagined this jfc Kira stay focused). And of course, I loved to see Dimple (Ekubo to those who didn't have his name translated) trying to act all high and mighty when in reality he was weaker than me (that joke will never get old). But there were some problems with other main characters (at least with one of them), and that problem was that although there was some strong character interaction and improvement, there wasn't much screen time for one main character. For those who already watched the show, I'm pretty sure you know who I'm on about.
And as a person who usually bonds with characters within span of few episodes, it was hard for me to really like that character because of how little screen time he had. At times I even forgot he was a thing, and for those who are still scratching their heads as to who tf I'm on about, it’s Reigen. I'm talking Reigen. I do like the fact that he is voiced by the same VA who voiced Osomatsu….I like this trash of an anime. I can relate to them, because I am such huge trash myself. I like trash.
Also, is it me, or does Sakurai mostly voices trashes? No? Only me? Ok.
Of course, I loved how different the characters looked compared to the usual typical looking characters. The style gave them this unique look which usually doesn't change much as their designs are flat and all, but in this case the art style really saved everything. Just to clarify something, I am not referring to the first "villain" or the rest of the villains; I'm mostly talking about our main characters and few background ones. Please don't come at me with knives and guns, please, thank you.
Can we just talk about how much time it took Ritsu to finally accept that this brotherly act wasn't a fucking act? Like seriously dude, you feared him, ok, but you loved him too
Stfu now.
Go bend some spoons or something.
Ok, I have to admit, Ritsu wasn't (and still kinda isn't) my favourite and I didn't disliked him even though that he has good reasons to be jealous of his older brother and fear him (I mean, come on, DUDE CAN BEND SPOONS; YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN HE MIGHT SNAP AND BEND YOU LIKE A FUCKING SPOON), I guess I was just too overprotective over Mob. I will say this though, I'm glad he got some of his brain back that he lost. I'm really glad.
Final verdict:
I'm pretty sure you all are waiting for me to shut up and just finally give this anime a score so you can go ahead and watch it. Well, like I said earlier, this is where my problem beings. I've said everything I needed to say about this anime, I even reviewed it as best I could, but I am still left with this awful feeling that Bungou stray dogs left me with (until my friend told me about season 2). I cannot exactly rate it as gives me a feeling that this anime isn't even finished. Because it isn't, and as a person who rarely reads mangas (I am planning on changing that though), I really cannot feel complete until I see season 2 of this bitch or maybe even a fucking season 3.
But, if you were to ask me: "is this show even worth watching?” even with me feeling conflicted about the ending of it and whether or not I want to rate it 10 or 1, I would answer; go fucking watch it.
Because it really is, worth watching. This anime is a piss take, but believe me when I say it’s a good piss take. That doesn't sound right but it’s my review. I can say almost anything I want here as long as it stops you or encourages you to either read the manga or watch this anime. So go and fucking watch it, you can hate me later <3
I hope this review helped a least a little.

"pornography
noun por·nog·ra·phy \-fē\
: movies, pictures, magazines, etc., that show or describe naked people or sex in a very open and direct way in order to cause sexual excitement"
Now why the fuck would I give you a definition of "pornography" at the very beginning of this review? Just to warn you about the fucked up shits this anime may have. So ye, WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Now that we have that stuff out of the way, let's start.
HEY! Have you ever thought "oh wow! Love To Ru's ecchi-ness would be great for a storyline that involves world were there is
...
lack of dirty jokes as well as teenagers who rebel against the law and use them 24/7!" ?
Ye, neither did I. However, these guys at J.C. Staff (same guys that created Toradora!, Accel world, Karin, Zero no Tsukaima and more) thought that exact thing and created "Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai" or just Shimoneta.
Now since this is a review, let's get into this.
Story:
What? There is such a thing at "story" in this anime? Holy fuck how did I not notice it?
Hold on.
let me just- get some basic info about that...
OK HERE WE GO
A story about a boy who lives in a world which has forbidden the uses of dirt words or anything to do with explicit sexual contents. After he left to join the Tokioka Academy, on his very first day he met a girl called "Blue snow", a girl with white panties on her face and nothing but white sheet over her body, who was known as the terrorist who broke all the laws just because she said some random dirty words in public (yeah I don't know either). Oh yeah, the boys name is Tanukichi Okuma, little mister innocent who joined the most cleanest school (seriously no one in that school knows about sex or how it works) just to follow the girl who was the only friend back then, known as Anna Nishikinomiya; the president of the Student Council and a daughter to her influential parents, whom are both responsible in enforcing the ever stricter public morality laws. (Did I mentioned he hated his father?) But of course, he got caught up in the action by meeting Ayame Kajou, a second year high school student at Tokioka Academy and also the Vice President of the school's student council, and eventually was forced to join her or else she would give him up to police (that poor fucker.) While the series go on, we are almost always greeted by the great and amazing narrator that honestly just annoyed me every time.
Yeah, as you can see the "story" itself doesn't sound too appealing, except...it does. The fact that they live in a world where no one even knows basic things like what a fucking sex is sounds weird, yet interesting. It can be a very weird anime to follow, especially when the shit hits the fan in ep 4 but it is still a very unique and crazy as fuck anime.
Visuals/sound track:
This is something I am not so happy to talk about. The OST of this series has the mixture of "yeah its cool" and "what the actual fuck is this?" which, depending on your view, can mean that the OST is shit, ok, or good. The opening is something that got stuck in my brain, its weird; funny; catchy and just plain "wtf"? Which is a type of music I sometimes do listen to (yeah, judge all you want). The same can be said to the Ending, though I must say the ending was more catchy than opening. The rest of the sound track can at times.....just....plain. Nothing really amazing but also not something shit. It can be at times but compared to latest OSTs I've listened to, this one was ok.
The art however was something I should've expected from the J.C. staff as (not always) their work has that "flat" look to it. The animation can be ok at times but sadly it just didn't make me go "wow" nor was it pleasant to my eyes. I was hoping to the animation that was as good as Toradora! but I guess I just wished for just a bit too much.
Characters:
The characters.....Do I really must talk about them? Only 5 out of 15 ( with only few of them appearing more than once) where interesting to say the least. Rest felt; flat; boring or just not given enough information about. One of them is Anna's mother who barely appeared on screen, and when she did she acted like that typical villain but without her actually being one. I guess for me, the most interesting character was Gouriki, since he literally looks like gay gorilla.
I must say though, the designs of the characters are at least in a way "original". I am using the term "original" lightly here because I am talking about their designs, not their personalities.
Final verdict:
All together Shimoneta is...an alright anime.
It is a worth a watch anime, if you aren't disgusted by cringe worthy sexy jokes censored by the anime itself, so go ahead and watch it.
I personally wouldn't watch it myself again
So much so that I really cannot be asked to finish this review.
This anime really is a good yet bad anime.
It has an interesting concept and how it starts
but as soon as I watched other episodes, I just felt all of it was lost.
Personally, if you want to watch it, do it.
But I will have to say this anime was...a failure.

Oh I am waiting for dislikes and hate comments on my profile. I can hear them flooding!
Now, Haikyuu!! isn't exactly a bad or a terrible anime. My overall score of it is 9 because it did give me the enjoyment I wanted and did not expected to have from sport anime as I am not a fan of such anime. HQ is good show, despite the fact that I have dropped it I still have to give it the fair rating and this rating is that I have enjoyed that anime and I hope one day I will have time and motivation to actually finish
...
the whole series and second season. I am writing this review without finishing it because of the fact that this anime is sadly predictable one you get a good hang of it and despite my never finishing it. Maybe once I will finish it I will give this anime another review or just update this one but it all honesty (and sadly) I doubt there will be any difference before I finished it and after. I might love it, I might hate it, I might have th same opinion as it is now. Who knows? I can't look into the future.
Anyway, without further a do, here is the; Story:
HQ is an anime about a sport (that I never been fan of, still not big fan of and in future I will never like it) which is volleyball.( In all honest I hate this sport and I am very bad at it too. But I digress.) The overall plot line loops around our main protagonist Hinata, Shouyou who, after watching a volleyball ace nicknamed "Little Giant" in action, became inspired to become as big as the "Little Giant". Despite his small height, Hinata is surprisingly good at it (sadly not good enough as a Capitan) and after joining (and reviving) volleyball club that was suppose to shut down at his middle school, went with his team to tournament, only to be squashed by the opposite team and their "King of the court", Tobio Kageyama. After their first and last match, Hinata promised Kageyama that one day he will be the "King of the court" and will beat him down. After graduating from his middle school, Hinata got into Karasuno Highschool to where fore mentioned "Little giant" used to attend, to make his dreams come true. However things become complicated as he finds out that his rival, The "King of the court" himself, also attended the school and now is his teammate. The story itself seems like any typical sport anime etc etc, and it can either can with Hinata indeed becoming someone like a Little giant or him failing but still becoming someone amazing and maybe even better than Little giant. Sadly that is about it with the story itself as it is very simple and easy to follow plot.
Visuals/sound track:
The art style has this special place in my heart. It isn't amazing, it isn't outstanding but it isn't plain. Animes that have amazing animation do catch my eye easily as good animation will give you a lot and I mean a lot of eyes that will watch. Not everyone will pay attention to the animation itself and some people may even dislike the style because of its unique look. The style is a bit weird in my opinion but the way how its used (for example the shading, animation etc) really made me give this one a high rank. The sceneries are average and could've been better but they are sure not just "basic" or just flat-out boring. The soundtrack however, this one is the kicker. I said this twice now and I will say it again; the Soundtrack is amazing. The openings are always very good as well as the endings. Sadly compared to the first opening, second opening wasn't as "exciting" and didn't make me pumped for the episode as much as the first one did. The soundtrack is very nice to listen to but for some people this can be hit or miss, really depends on what you like. Overall, I love the style and the soundtrack, its a shame that the second op wasn't as good at first one. And about the endings, well, I didn't really gave them a good score as I think they are just "ok."
Characters:
Ohohohoh! This is the part where I will be able to grab lemons and throw them onto life. The characters are amazing. I love every single one of them (or at least the ones I've seen so far) and the way how they are presented is great! Our main characters, Hinata and Kageyama (Bakeyama), spend a lot of their time with same people at the very beginning, but as the series goes on, more and more characters are shown and their personalities get revealed quickly. When we meat some characters from opposite teams, we see them at the right times and it doesn't feel as if they are pushed there just because they must show their faces. The character interactions, especially between the mains, is good and realistic (at least for an anime). The characters themselves have interesting designs but at times they look either ridiculous or just plain. But if characters have amazing personalities that are shown from the very first episode then there is no need to complain, at least not as much.
Final verdict:
Although I didn't finish the anime, I have given it the fairest score I could've ever given it. In all honest, I love this anime. The animation, the characters, and the soundtrack are something that I honestly love. I wouldn't put it as high as Kyoukai no Kanata as I haven't finished it and it sadly didn't hit as high as I wish it did. But the anime itself is amazing. If you don't like sport animes, I would recommend this for you at this one is greater than any other I've seen so far. Overall, I would say "WATCH IT". Give this anime a good try and if you don't like it its ok.
I hope this review helped a least a little.

There are many people in this world that can either fight pain, ignore it or get eaten whole by it. Those that can fight against it, have a different "me" in a different world. If that different "me" dies, all the pain is taken away, and the other "me" is deceased.
....
Well I just gave you a summary of the plot in a nutshell.
Black★Rock Shooter is an anime about a young girl; Kuroi Mato who lives a nice and peaceful life until she gets to Highschool and meets girl called Takanashi Yomi. Yomi is a quiet girl who has a lot of worries on her
...
head, trying to stay away from as many people as possible while Mato is a energetic and a bit weird person who wishes to see all the colours of this world. As Mato tries to become friends with Yomi, things start to get messy, to the point where everything falls down.
Now, Black★Rock Shooter is a short anime so going into too much details would only spoil a LOT of it. This is why this review might get short, but without anymore rambling, let's start:
So here is a short description of Story:
Story is a complicated one, especially at the beginning, but once you get to episode 8, everything will click into place and you will get it, if not then I would recommend either hitting me a message or reading it up.
The main plot is all about pain and how different people react differently to it.
That is sadly all I can say about the story without getting too deep into spoiler territory.
Visuals/sound track:
Art was....mediocre. The eye art style was amazing, animation was also good but the main thing that took the points away from it all, was the CGI animation. Now, I am a huge CGI nazi when it comes to anime (expect the very good ones) and I am a huge fan of hand drawn shows/movies. The CGI wasn't that much of the deal but my eyes couldn't focus as it was all in my face when it came to battles. I cannot give the score lower than 5 however, since it was still amazing CGI animation. If it would be terrible/badly made, I would've been forced to give it rank lower than 5. The ost of this anime was good, way more better than I was expecting to be honest. But the opening was sang by Hatsune Miku, Japanese computer singer known as "Vocaloid" and because of it, opening song didn't sound great. Her voice doesn't always fits and the fact that she sounds so robotic made it not very comfortable for my ears. If it would've been sang by a real person, I could've excused it. But this isn't a case in here and sadly it won't be. The Ost on it's own is great to listen to if you want to have some kick ass action or something a bit more peaceful.
Characters:
The characters here were....how should I put it? Filled with emotions. Although their designs are simple, I still loved how they were filled with hatred, selfishness, sadness and depression as well as joy, excitement and curiosity. This anime made me hate a character with a passion and this is something not many animes can do easily. The other "me" on the other hand were filled with aggression. I would love to talk more about the other "me" but that would be too much of a spoiler. Ok, as I said in my last review for "Kyoukai no Kanata"; " if you have characters, good or bad, with wonky character interaction I will be forced to point it out." And sadly, this is the area where I have to do so. The characters, although have strong emotions, don't really have great character interactions. The talks they have are unreal (in all anime if I should be honest) and the way the all act once everything starts to crumble is just insane. I would talk more about this; but as always, that would be slowly getting into spoiler territory. If you wish to see it for yourself, watch the anime.
Final verdict:
Black★Rock Shooter is a colourful yet dull anime. It takes you onto journey of emotions and their colours. It is describing everything in complicated way and it may be a bit confusing at times. However, once you will reach to the end, all the emotions that turned into black will open into a light blue sky and will give you a little food for thoughts. If you aren't really smart or you get things very slowly, I would suggest for you to skip this anime. But if you are easy with puzzles like this, go ahead and watch it.
I am so sorry that this review was so short, but so was the anime, so I cannot say anything more than this.

Hey! Have you ever had that one anime that made you go all "nyeeeeeeeeeeh!" because of it's sudden ending? If yes, then this anime will be one of them.
Kyoukai no kanata (also known as "Beyond the Boundary" in English) is a anime which was created by KyotoAnimation ("KyoAni") and was something along the lines of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! but way more complex and these fighting scenes that you have seen in Chuuni had meaning and mythology to them. Now, usually when I review an anime, I try to look at flaws etc. such as: Animation mistakes, sounds/music, character. character development, character interaction
...
etc. and while watching Kyoukai I haven't found as much as I was afraid to find. Honestly I shouldn't be surprised as before I have watched KyoAni's works such as "Hyouka", "Free!" etc. and I know they create great, if not amazing, work and sometimes even beyond that (get the pun?). However, not all anime is perfect and this might be reason why I was pleasantly surprised. You should know the overall story line etc. if you watched the anime, if you don't I would highly recommend for you to watch it first before continuing.
So let's star with the basic; Story.
Kyoukais story was something I have seen before but I haven't seen it handled well or at least not as well as Ao no Exorcist etc.
The story is simple, young boy named Kanbara Akihto meats girl, Kuriyama Mirai who tries to kill him but he turns out to be immortal. The story is shown that both of our main characters are what we call "monsters", inhuman creatures that are trying to push through life after tragic accidents (explained later in story) with one handling it well and other being scared by it. The two of them compliment each other and try to help each other in their little adventure with help of two siblings; Nase Mistuki and Hiroomi. The story doesn't have simple point A to point B kind of thing and this is what I enjoy a lot in anime, especially when it's done well like in many animes you may see. If you want to find out more about story, watch the anime or read up on it.
Visuals/Sound track:
Although not everyone will agree with me on this part, but KyouAni animation is great but it is not the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I have seen animations from movies like "5 cm per second" , "garden of words" and way more to know that they are the most beautiful movies I have ever seen and I know that comparing these movies to KyoAni's work is unfair. But I have to say this; The animation in Kyoukai is detailed. Not only based on explosions and huge monsters (also known as "Yomu") but also on facial animation and body moments, and it is very beautiful. Sadly, Kyoukai didn't hit my "amazing" rank when it comes to the animation because, despite the details, it still had some animation flaws that went into fore-mentioned explosions and huge monsters and special effects etc. The music on the other hand, the music was fantastic. It was gorgeous and I love every single soundtrack it had to offer. The opening and ending were composed by both amazing artists and it sure was great to listen to it especially on a boring day of school at break.
Characters:
Although the characters were very simple and not that much creative (not in my opinion at least), the style of KyoAni's added a lot of cuteness to them and a bit of badass which made them even better. If you want to find out more about the characters then search up or watch the anime. Now, here's the most important key in the whole thing; character interaction. I am one of those people who simply doesn't care if the animation is the most beautiful things the world or your music is breath taking (I will still compliment them), if you have characters, good or bad, with wonky character interaction I will be forced to point it out. Thankfully, this is the part where I don't have to do so. Kyoukai has great character interaction, especially with our main; Kuriyama and Mitsuki, who get along in one episode created just for that. The character development is also good, but I think it could've been done with more details.
Final Verdict:
For me, Kyoukai no kanata was a great anime where almost nothing was standing still and nothing was out of focus (and if there was, it wasn't that noticeable), like for example the magic behind the stone checking (or whatever it's called in English) or something along these lines. The story it self was good and it was just like the opening; it gave you an amazing ride with beautiful views for your eyes every time you were bored.
So in general, I would recommend this anime the most if you don't mind the huge amounts of blood and massive amounts of "moe"/adorable factors.
