I'm 20, and I've been an avid anime and manga fan since 1998.

The first anime that I was ever introduced to was Pokemon, closely followed by Detective Conan. A Japanese friend of mine showed them to me, but at the time I was only nine years old, and had no idea what anime was. After I learned the term, I started looking up other series, and widened the range of series and genres that I was into. To this day I've seen and read hundreds of series, and still enjoy finding new ones to get into it. I still follow Pokemon and Conan. :3
