For Gyo the original Japanese release was split into 19 main chapters and 2 bonus chapters totaling 21, the chapter list can be seen here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyo#Manga

I'm less familiar with Fairy Tail, but it seems to be a similar situation with additional omake chapters being included in the total count.

Ok so gekkan shoujo nozaki kun was interesting, ill say that much because I also enjoyed it, but wasn't what made it interesting the fact that it was a romance/comedy? the romance was a plot device that kept someone engaged, the animes that i listed previously did not have any of that. Is that correct?

So basically i've come to the conclusion you dislike shows that dont have an plot device or anything like that? Honestly speaking. If not can you give me an anime that has no plot device or any actual development that you enjoyed so I can go watch it, because i am assuming that it'll be good and i enjoy those kinds of anime.

I don't have a problem with reviews, i have a problem with the way you spoke in your review and sure I agree now that that was just me assuming things. Now I'm just confused at how people can just watch a show like this and have absolutely no enjoyment watching it and then proceed to watch the rest as if your crawling through a trench wondering when you'll be either shot first or go insane. It's completely mind blowing. I would like to poke into the mind of those people and understand what goes through it. If GJ-bu was horrible, what about shows like Lucky Star, Acchi Kocchi, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, and Nichijou. Those are all pretty similar. Would you rate those all low for no story/plot? If not what tell me what differences there are and why they are higher then Gj-bu and if you haven't watched them are you planning to go watch them at all? Why do slice of life animes need some sort of plot device to make it somewhat interesting at all? I am honestly curious at this point.
ShinSama_ Jun 7, 2017 4:25 PM
but for example you rated GJ-bu very lowly in your review about it not having any plot
or development, and it doesn't, but that's what its supposed to be, high schoolers sitting in a club room just talking about trivial things every episode. It sounds like you expected something. In the series you mentioned there is an actual story driving device that makes you willing to watch the series. Why would you decide to watch or even finish something like GJ-bu when you say that it has no plot or development when it's not even supposed to have any. Honestly i'm just saying that what you said in your review was ignorant and that i am confused as hell to why people even say that series like acchi kocchi or GJ-bu have no plot or development.

man you really dislike animes that have no actually story and are purely for entertainment

Oh, another thing I like about AL's activity feed is the ability to share messages with all your followers...and even in the public feed (entire site). That can come in handy sometimes. ^^

Hello Hiiro-kun~ :D I'd say that AniList is definitely worth checking out. Here are the reasons why I prefer AniList...

1. Small Community. The active members, particularly forum posters, get to know each other really well. I also love the people there. :) On MAL, I just feel lost in the sea of people...

2. Activity feed. This is the main feature on AL and also my favorite! It's easier to keep track of what my friends are into and discover new titles. The activity feeds also spark a lot of interesting conversations since we can comment on them directly. On MAL, I feel like people could care less about what I just watched or read, since it's not the main feature here.

3. Design.

4. No ads!

5. Favorites list has no limits.

Maybe give it a try and see how you like it? Feel free to poke me there too. :3

Oh and thanks for the rec! I saw maybe a couple episodes of it a long while back, but then I forgot about it... xD Thanks for reminding me, as it looks like something I'd enjoy and appreciate now.
AngelHana Dec 19, 2014 8:47 AM
you should give it a try for the manga. I recommended it :)
AngelHana Dec 18, 2014 10:59 PM
I always watch anime as many as possible in a season XD
so yeah, it'll be a lot that I'm looking forward to.

I'm looking forward to TG 2nd Season, Kamisama Hajimemashita ◎, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love! (looks stupid and funny so I'm gonna give it a try), Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (I love the manga so far), Durarara!!×2 Shou (Been waiting for ages), Seiken Tsukai no World Break,Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata, Aldnoah.Zero 2nd Season (wanted to know how Inaho manage to survive after that headshot), Death Parade and Kuroko no Basket 3rd Season.

but in the end, it will turn out only a few anime will motivate me to watch more. The others will be on hold for a year or two years XP
AngelHana Dec 18, 2014 9:03 AM
oh wow. :O

well, as for me.... hmm... you can say that I actually enjoy action/sport. I don't like much slice of life that the plot is kinda... predicted. I would prefer slice of life like Clannad After Story or Natsume Yuujinchou. If it comes to romance/shoujo, I like the anime if the character (especially girls) that aren't annoying like Nana Osaki (NANA). The girls that didn't actually relying ALL THE TIME on the male characters. Still, as a girl, of course male characters caught my eyes first :P

but all I can say that I actually enjoy most of any genre XD

have you see the upcoming Winter anime? :3
AngelHana Dec 13, 2014 11:48 PM
