Here we have a decent story about a group of friends finding their places in life. Some might fall in love with a star crossed partner, while others perish in utter defeat and depression. As in many love animes, most of their characters are portrayed as those who are deeply in love with their lovers and won’t mind spending their lives together for eternity. In Boys Be… hearts are broken, mended, twisted, doubted and even scared. In essence, this anime does not emphasis on a fairytale, where people marry each other and have many babies. This anime not only emphasizes on the harsh realities of love, but also even on one’s choices.
Though they aren’t the best characters out there, they are surely the ones we will mostly find relevant and comparable. Their actions are heading the right direction of everyday decisions that we make or will make. To be more specific, when we doubt those we love, we tend to medicate ourselves and bend the rules in game of love. The main protagonist will come off as a guy who is always dragged around, just like he would in most love anime series. Only this time, his revelations, thoughts, actions, and even conclusions are realistic. Not only him, but we also have a common perverted male (who always tries to get a glimpse at girl’s panties) and a hot-ignorant male. As for the womens, they’re spread out from a childhood friend to a unrequited lover. Each archetype is unique in his or her way and goes through problems we all have faced in the past.
The sound would be a 6. Not the best out there, but certainly better than a cassette tape.
To be honest, the art is horrible. Though made in the 90’s I guess I’ll give it a 7 since some women character in this series actually looks like a women.
Every review I give, I try to give a complete and honest opinion about it. This series is absolutely underrated and I truly advise you to watch it. In most anime relationships, characters are portrayed as star crossed lovers and monogamous swans. In this series, they are finally and realistically portrayed as sharks. We are not animals made to support each other but ourselves. Like in relationships, if a bigger fish arrives, we’ll pounce on them like there is no tomorrow. Our greed and temptations is what defines our true selves, hidden behind a mask of lies and bitter sweet indecisiveness. I will have to acknowledge only one character in the series that is truly well played. The male protagonist reveals a side we all have inside of us. How we deal with our problems is up to our little hearts content, but this character’s decision is perfectly realistic. Love is like a bus, every 30 mins a new one arrives. If its broken down, then we’ll politely get off and walk ourselves.
Collaboration with Stan Lee and Studio Bones.
Well here we have it. Heroman
One of the most anticipated anime series of 2010 and will probably be one of the best anime series of this year.
Just from watching the first episode, you get a slice of everything from action, drama and thrill. This anime series is packed with back to back action, which will surely make you hungry for more.
Story - 9/10
This story goes away from your typical action animes. Since this is a collaboration with Stan lee, the story will just go so far in 2010. In this anime, a boy, who has no super powers, suddenly gets thrown into a world of adventure and action. From there, we'll just see what happens right?
Character - 9/10
The characters in this story are brilliant.
Art - 10/10
Marvel + Anime = Pure awesomeness.
I don't want to be the bad guy here, but this is one of the WORST MANGA OF ALL TIME.
Let me break this down for you guys.
To start off, the story talks about a lonely and gullible salary man, who took a random girl in, because she lost her home due to a fire. From there, they start to get closer and closer together, while going through many hardships of everyday life. With a simple slice of life, this manga contains light hearted sex and rape.
Plot - 5/10
At a glance, this manga might seem a sweet and light hearted manga, which I can related to you guys. The guy, who is obviously stupid and gullible and will do anything to save the girl from harms way, will apparently cause more problems. The girl on the other hand is just stupid throughout the whole story, doing idiotic and impulsive things that you can't just forgive. *Just wait until you read CH 24*
Character - 2/10
In the story, though the character might seem developed, they are definitely not. You are constantly being bombarded with repetitive conflicts, drama and clique events, which obviously will bore you to death. The character, especially the girl, are just so dumb with their actions, that they don't take much initiative to change who they are and how they act. The guy on the other hand is just so dumb, he takes everything that the girl says as true, causing him to appeal as a gullible and dense moron.
Art - 5/10
Nothing special. Just a typical anime, with ecchiness and trivial expressions.
Overall - 2/10
This story may seem interesting from CH 1 - 10. From that point on, everything just spirals down into a heart breaking and repetitive series of stupidity and idiocy. *Read CH 24, you will know what I mean. read more
Plot - 6/10
I have to say, I am a harsh critic. This story is so fully of cliques and ecchi parts, it just drags out the story. Once upon a time, a girl, whose president of the school meets up with a true player, a guy who is super rich. From there, romance in the air and the girl just can't seem to spit out her feelings for him.
Character - 6/10
Alright. Character wise, they start the develop rather slowly for a couple of chapters. Then each of them are show their true colors, confessions and history in a chapter or so. Though this manga is still ongoing, you can expect more romance and clique character development.
Art - 6/10
Typical anime, which you can find almost everywhere. Though at a glance, the art might seem dull, this manga has its moments.
Overall - 7/10
I do not mean to discourage you guys, but read it at your own risk. If you guys just eat up romance and drama with a spoon, be my guess. Just be prepared to go through chapters and chapters of repetitive cliques, ecchiness, drama, and fan services. read more

Plot - 8/10
Let me emphasize this again. *Please be open minded about these OVAs everyone. Some takes place during ODST to even before Halo War. Again each OVA has their unique style in both animation and storyline.
Character - 8/10
Since these OVA are about 10 - 15mins each, don't expect much in character development.
Art - 8/10
Each and every one of the OVAs has their own distinguishable styles, ranging from anime - digital animation.
Overall - 9/10
Great storylines and animation. read more
Story - 6/10
This is one for your generic manga, where its a boy meets girl scenario. One day, a boy wakes up and finds out he is getting married. Typical story right? Basically, the story itself just drags on on repetitive "kill the boy" ecchiness.
Character - 6/10
Stupid boy, who is really dense and takes all the shit from other girls. A girl who is arrogant and self - centered. There isn't much character development throughout the story so far.
Art - 7/10
The art itself is average. You will find these type of drawings anywhere, when it comes to ecchiness.
Overall - 6/10
Since this manga is still an ongoing series, don't expect too much. Get ready for a massive amount of fillers and other trivial matters. read more
This is another one of your typical love stories, with a girl teacher and boy student.
Story - Story wise, there isn't much going on. Even though its an ongoing series, there only has been one conflict so far. In other words, its a light hearted manga.
Art - I think its fair. It's not too good and not good bad. Its just ok.
Character - There hasn't been much character development throughout the manga. Just another one of your boy meet girl series.
Overall - 7/10 Tops.
