I'm the homely type too. My favourite chillin' spot is this corner of my room where i'm at now with my lappie but yknw, as a girl, there's tend to be more outings (be it shopping or a trip to some karaoke bar, etc.) At least you have a holiday so i think that's good enough. I see my first-year senior in poly struggling like mad. She's been burning the mid-night oil for practically a month already. :(

I serious wonder how life is going to be like for me. There's so much uncertainty. And at this point in time, i feel very very frustrated. Even though it is the holidays, my whole family is bugging me to work! Even my cousins and aunties. Gosh. :(
The problem is i don't know how to even find a job. I do see listings on blogs but there's very little ones that's willing to employ people like me. I'm cool with serving people but the F&B line pays too little for the tedious tasks that we're required to do. I don't know where to work. Argh. Shuckz.
With my books and worksheets strewn all over the floor, my table littered with tiny note cards and colour pens and textbooks, i just want to clean my whole room & give it a brand new look with a new coat of paint, perhaps. LOL
I just want my mum to quit pushing me to work at the moment since i've just started to offer helping out at an orphanage.

yep, sometimes the simplest gifts are the best. ^=^ a cashcard is a really innovative idea though! xD maybe can give that to my dad for his dbay next time too. xD out of curiosity, what happens if you pass through an ERP or smth of that sort without a card in the slot?

but sometimes some people are just easier to remain in contact with. right now even with my best friend, we've been together for 4 years but we hardly contact each other in the holidays. i tend to go out with other friends more. maybe it's due to the fact she doesn't really go out or reply emails once holiday starts, so it's tough to remain in contact.

it's always a wonder those acting don't feel stupid. i mean, after a while, they start to hear one very consistent line from the direction 'now this is where you cry'. but then i noticed it's mostly singapore dramas which are soooo over-the-edge dramatic. (not sure about japanese or korean, so i can't comment) most of the american ones are less of crying and more of.... killing.... >.<

i really don't know how i like it, but its SUPER confusing! 13 episodes in and i don't get a thing. and despite all the times i told myself that the killings are for a purpose, i can't help thinking it's a show for extreme sadists... normally i'd drop the anime by now but well.. it has to be worth it somehow seeing the number of people who like it.

LOL! i totally agree with the bday song thing. it irritates everyone else and frankly, they should know they're just making the person embaressed. >.<

i also don't like useless presents. some friends insist on giving photo albums every year when they know i hardly take photos. when it comes to presents, i want something sincere. like something a friend noticed that i need or want. (which is why sometimes as a joke, i'd buy a whole tin of a friend's fav biscuit and wrap it up nicely as a bday present. and boast the week beforehand that 'it is a very sincere present i decided to get after 4 years of observing you')

that sounds like what happened to my primary school days. i only keep in contact with one friend. its like once you stop seeing one another, you just lose touch. some make the effort to stay in touch, but often it's hard to find common interests to talk abuot anymore

i agree, i noticed that mixed blood people are usually very good looking. haha the best i think is the indian-chinese mixed. they just seem so pretty =D

speaking of crying, i was channel surfing the other day and came across the opening of a local drama. and seriously, the images that come with it... it's just a montage of crying characters. >.<

whoa, that sounds like my mum' XD right now i still anticipate birthdays, since i can go around on the day to check which of my friends remembered it.

but i feel really sad for you. secondary school is really one of the best times >.< but you couldn't possibly have had 4 years of torture right?

really? ok, maybe they idea of good looks is more natural then, since i always get the impression they're more well... realistic. i've never angela aki thuogh. maybe will check her out one of these days. xD

if it's me, i'd be very insulted lol. >.< dunno lah, but its like some people who watch dramas and you simply classify those people as people who enjoy listening to sweet talk. (though being one who never ever touch tv dramas, i have no idea if they do)

i looked at the word kazhua for very long before i understood what it is. haha but you're right that many girls are like this nowadays. but its weird, when we see them in real life, we get impatient. (at least, i do) but anime ones are just so popular... lol! i finally realised why mugi is so familiar! her and miyuki are really alike lol. xD
