A little about myself. Currently a university freshman, majoring in business management. Loves anime, and equally loves RPG games. Favourites include Suikoden II, Tales of Eternia, FFVIII, Valkyrie Profile (PSX), Tales of the Abyss, KH2 (PS2), Dragon Force (SS), The World Ends With You and the Ace Attorney series (DS). Now playing Persona 3:FES (PS2). Am planning to get a Wii during Christmas season.

I am really fond of is usually comedy/romance blends of anime, like Kanon, Clannad and Lovely Complex. I also like parody anime, like Lucky Star and Pani Poni Dash. But usually, I watch anything I find even remotely interesting. Recently, I found a love for slice of life type anime. Those that calm the soul, yet gives a really deep meaning, including Aria, Sketchbook, Kino no Tabi and Bartender.

I dislike horribly ecchi anime with no/pathetic storyline, like To-Love-Ru, Kanokon and Rosario+Vampire. Also, I dislike lousy endings, especially if the entire anime is good except for the ending. Examples include Air, Clannad, Myself; Yourself, H2O and Haibane Renmei. More than anything, I dislike senseless sequels, or overly long years. One Piece has been around since 1997, Pokemon 1998, Naruto 1999 and Bleach 2001. Isn't it time to stop? Even series with a good first season shouldn't have to screw themselves up by having sequels, like Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima, Da Capo (though the 4th season is somewhat redeeming itself) and To Heart.

I am a great fan of shoujo manga despite being a guy, and am very proud of it. They are much better than shounen manga that emphasize fight scenes over and over again. Hardly am I even disappointed at the story of a shoujo manga.

My favourite seiyuu is Aya Hirano, though I am greatly aware of the fact that she isn't necessarily anywhere as good as Yui Horie, I like Aya-chan because she brings her personality into her voice acting, and her singing's pretty good too. Most importantly, she's adorable! :)

Dark_Koji | Yesterday, 5:41 AM Haiz. Sorry, couldn't reply as I was busy to the limits with the India trip drawing near. Duty storeman is just like you said, signing stuff and answering phone calls (plus running errands). It is only tiring because you have to close up the office, and only after all commanders leave. And nowadays with the huge work load, most commanders only leave by 2200 and onwards. Definitely no time for the duty storeman to do anything afterwards but to go to bed. My seniors are showing their true bitchy face with all the stress on them. Sucks that I didn't take leave on my birthday and had to take their flaming when they decided to screw me. Well, fine that way. I will soon return the "favor" to them when the time is ripe. XD Not sure if you heard it, but I am sure this will interest you. But I'm not sure why we still not playing that well like we used to from the last game that I saw (I saw only second half though). Oh well, I guess they are not quite 100% yet. Eva was really good today. I like the way that he is the defenser that is a part of Man Utd's formation. After all, he assisted to Fretcher for goal in that game. That's why I always want someone like Sergio Ramos to our team but that's just my hope. Well, how's school going so far for you ? My school haven't start it yet unitl next month but I'm at school doing project all the time. However, anime distracted me quite a lot though. lol. Dark_Koji | 08-20-08, 5:00 AM Okay, this is gonna be yet another rushed reply. >_> Yea, I am hoping the newest storeman appointed to our side will arrive next month, but I won't be surprised if none got send over until maybe October, or perhaps even Dec. o_O True, talent is important. But I will never admit that it is only because I have the talent that I can draw, haha. I want to think it is due to the effort and interest put in that got me to where I am. Oh well, I am pretty tired, from the daily work and two days as Duty Storeman. And today someone's psp got stolen, which caused quite a commotion. All in all, week has been pretty hectic on my unit side, so I will fill you up more when I book out this friday night. I am going to burn my weekends in camp so gotta rush some anime episodes now when I got the time. Now I am just looking forward to the newest member to be sent to our unit. kekeke~ About the tickets, I think either she somehow managed to be in the fanclub, or just buy the tickets from already-members that couldn't make it to the concert. Anyway, that online contact of mine will try to get me a copy of the registration form. Hopefully I can apply for one -- official fan club member, ftw! Haha, now that I looked carefully at the scan, the guy's face I drew looks thinner/narrower than I wanted. My visualization is not too great, so I just throw multiple designs I have in mind, then work out a "final" version. Like I mentioned, I never go through any actual drawing lessons, so if even I can do it, you should have no trouble drawing too. Just need a lot of interest (passion) and practice~ I updated the draft with a second character (female) face. Dark_Koji | 08-17-08, 3:38 AM Hmm, actually I was only sad because the person ORD-ing was a rather good individual. Wish he could stay longer to help out with the work load, haha. The Nana-concert goer is only interested in Nana, haha. Anyway, has Hirano Aya hold her own concert before? Not the Haruhi-related kind, but the ones under her own name? Don't remember hearing about one yet. I am facing another problem with the Nana concert. It appears that in order to get tickets, I will need to be part of the official fanclub. The tricky part is it is open to only Japanese residents. But there is perhaps a way to register for non-locals... I am not good in drawing, and have not been taught any art-specialism studies. However, I still want to draw stuff, because I quite enjoy it, frankly speaking. Realistically speaking, I will probably go for a typical, average job, but do some comics as a side job. Nothing professional, and I can easily just get my creation through the wonders of the net. It is more of an interest that I want to work out. I just drafted this out today, which is supposed to go with my current comic project. After all right now, Argentina ranks #1 in the world right now. I just make my prediction that Brazil is going to win that's all. Actually, if Argentina vs. Brazil, I probably will root for Argentina. Well, when I say tomboy-ish, I mean that girls act more like little bit unladylike (just sometime not that often). Also, if you remember that tomboy-ish character girl tend to have bunch of girls cheert or rooting for them. For example, Kyou got bunch of girls cheering for her during her basketball match. Hinagiku also got bunch of Valentine chocolate from other girls. Therefore, I classify them as little bit tomboy-ish due to those examples. However, majority of their personalities still very girlishly which make them even more attractive to me. Well, Higurashi just creep me out that's all. If I watch again I may think different. It took me a while to decide and watch Elfen Lied again after I put it on hold. Maybe the loli and moe character in Higurashi just make it easier for you to watch. LOL. Just kidding. I'll say that Brazil will probably take it. As good as Messi is but one guy can't do everything. Talking about football team. Which one you don't like ?? I don't like Arsenal. I don't hate the team or anything. I think they have a lot of good players, but what I hate is the Arsenal's fan. They are always picking on or try to pick a fight with Man United's fan all the time. Like I remember that I argue with one guy in youtube. He was like Aresenal always played better when they against Man Utd. We just got lucky and won the game. Or he said that Arsenal pretty much dominated Man Utd during 06-07 season and how can they can't beat his team. I was like "what the hell, your team didn't win anything at all and your team can't even win at your home." Oh well, talking with those people just giving me more stress. LOL. Oh and about Alan smith thing. Everything you said is so true and I'm glad that we got rid of him. Well, I prayed that Tomoyo's chapter will continue base on game: Tomoyo ~ It's a wonderful life~. However, Kyoto animation is pretty much pack right now. They are finishing up Lucky star OVA then start working Clannad ~ ater story~. Eventually, they have to please a lot of fans by making the second season of Haruhi. Then they may plan to make Fullmetal Panic 4th season, so I think they are pretty much packed. I don't think Tomoyo is that independant. After all, she said that she can't live without Tomoya. Well, since you like Nagisa, I won't go into more detail of why I don't quite like her that much because it may pissed you off. LOL As for girls, yes I always mixed anime girls with real life girls all the time XD. I definitely prefer girls that kind and polite like Haruna, Nagisa, Kotonoha. However, those type of girls are really hard to find. Also, I also like tomboy-ish type that are every kind person like Kyou, Tomoyo, Hinagiku. Those type kinda like grow on me little by little while polite/kind type is like love at first sight. Haha, you like Mitsuki then (in Kimi ga Nozumu Eien). I was opposite. I like Haruka (the light red hair girl). She was a cute, polite, kind type which attract me more and her character development was much better than Mitsuki in my opinion. Well, I don't want to tell you this but I don't like horror/thriller anime that much. I mean I watch some for example Elfen Lied is like my favorite of that genre. But I still prefer other type of anime. I watched Higurashi no Naku Koro ni like 2 1/2 years ago. I watched only the fist 4 episode and I ended up being paranoid little bit. I was like "Is someone gonna put a needle in my food ? or is someone behind me ?" Yeah, I know I'm a wuss. Shuuush........don't tell anyone. LOL But yeah I like the concept and the uniqueness of Higurashi series. I'm also less chicken out now maybe one day I'll pick it up one day again but not anytime soon. Well hope you are doing well. Ended up out camp today, thanks to one of my mate going ORD and we got half-day off as celebration. ^_^ Yep, I am currently asking for some advice online, from previous Nana live concert-goers. Surprisingly, I came across one from sg too - I am just waiting for a reply now. I went to a few local live before too. Like the F4 or 5566 ones... erm, more like I was dragged along though. The tickets were free though, so might as well. ~_~ So you were interested in My Chemical Romance? Nah, I think it is very common to see dyed hair, but they are mostly the typical brown/golden dye color. Nothing outrageous, like your punk red one. =P I can relate having artificial white for hair color is kinda cool, but I agree with you it is still a weird choice. Make one look like an albino from the back too. For job prospect, I am thinking of going for an art illustration thingie direction, but that is still rather vague. I don't have the necessary skills too, and I don't think even if the local scene have such a job field, they would accept someone like me without any appropriate qualification for follow-up. That's why I am still considering my future; maybe I will have to suck thumb and go get an art diploma/degree after army. Need $$$ though. >_> In the meantime, I am trying to come out a casual comic series. I wanna see what I can churn out during army. Am still thinking of a good premise for a story. I won't worry about the driving part. Strangely, many gals I know either are learning to drive, or already have their license. But nearly all of them don't own a car, so even if their future hubby don't know how to drive, they should at least have the funds to financially support a car, LOL. Then again, the girls I know are mostly the "garang" type, which may explain the difference. Yeah, having to be on the road the whole day is tiring. But my dad is quite the slacker himself, so he knows how to take things easy. And the good thing about being a full-time cabbie is you get to arrange your own break timing. No whatsoever restriction. Because of that, I can also call my father to pick me from camp whenever. Fuel is expensive nowadays though, so I try to limit my book outs as well. Hmm, time to check anime updates now. Last monday night was darn tiring - basically burned my whole night without sleep to marathon several anime episodes. No way I am going to do again that anytime soon. Football actually isn't that bad to watch but seriously how many coutries that really play around the world ?? Baseball ?? Hell no !! I fall asleep every single game when they show on TV. Well, I thought we need Berbatov because our strikers aren't that tall so we need a taller striker. Henry will be good one too but he isn't that young anymore. Oh well, hopefully Berbatov will come to us and the legacy of our Man United will continue XD Oh boy, are you really want be to explain why I like Tomoyo and Kyou and not much on Nagisa ?? I can write like 5 pages essay for that. LOL. Well, everything you say is reasonable that Kyou and Tomoyo didn't develop that much. I played game a littlle bit and I also read a lot of site stuff for game. Out of 5 girls, Fuko is the only one that won't have much chance with Tomoya (obviously). Due to Kotomi's past, the writer can easily brend her storyline without making her as part of potential candidate for Tomoya. Since Clannad is obviously about Tomoya x Nagisa. Kyou and Tomoyo storyline won't fit in this case at all because Tomoya basically has to go out with one of those girls. Actually, in the game, if you see Nagisa in the first time and you decide no to talk to her. Then the next time, you won't see her again which basically you are out of her arc. Haha, I guess you already know how good Kyou is but there is more than just her looks that I like. Actually, I like Tomoyo at first sight but Kyou kinda grows on me. Tomoyo's personality is really cool. She may act tough from the outside but she is one of the kindest person in Clannad (even Fuko admitted it). She is very independant person. What I like about Tomoyo is that she brings out the best out of Tomoya. If it wasn't for her then Tomoya won't grow. He will think himself as delinquent forever. Unlike Nagisa who is too dependant which is nothing wrong but sometime is too much. I could go on but that's for it for now. Haha, before you suggest me. You should read my list. I watched Kimi ga Nozumu Eien like 3 years ago. Well, I thought it was really good series but then again I'm a Haruka's fan (well not a big fan but I was rooting for her). The ending was executed really well so yes I was crying like your sister. LOL Yeah, just pick any anime that we are both already watched and we can discuss more or if you want to recommend me any series then let me know and I'll do the same. Thanks a lot. P.S. I was like "Why the f**k would they call this sport as football ?" and the real football they calls it soccer. Lame !! That's all I have to say XD Well, no any news so far in term of getting new players for Man U. Sigh........opening season compaign doesn't look so bright. In term of our compatibility, yes we have some anime that we agree that are really good. Haha, I found it funny that when you say that you don't like lousy ending like Clannad. But yet enough you give it a 9/10. It seems like your rating are much harsher than mine XD. Haha, I can tell right away why you don't like the ending of Clannad anime and yet you give it a 9/10. Overall series was great ( no doubt) but also because you are Nagisa's fan. Sorry dude. I'm big Kyou and Tomoyo fan. The only reason I probably don't looking forward to see Clannad ~after life is because of Nagisa. That's why I love Clannad ~ Tomoyo chapter a lot. I don't hate Nagisa or anything but she doesn't really appealing to me. Other than that, I guess you didn't like True Tears either XD. That's OK. I know a lot of people who don't like it. I personally love that series. It's my second love-romance favorite series after Kanon 2006. But other than that I think we are agree about most anime quite well.
