Andy desu, yoroshiku ne! I feel like im confessing my addiction to a room full of alcoholics, and in a way that's not far off. I have spent the majority of my 24 years keeping my anime and Japanese culture obsessions secret from my closest friends, family, and even my ex-girlfriend i dated all throughout high school. I don't really have any friends into this kind of stuff and don't really know how to meet people(outside the internet) who are. I'm hoping to meet some like-minded people to discuss anime, Japanese culture, games, or whatever. Outside of my Oreimo-like otaku bubble i work two jobs (only 1 is full time), hang out with my non-otaku friends, snowboard, play the bass guitar, go to kendo twice a week (actually thats pretty otaku now that i think about it), i dont know i guess im your typical atypical guy leading a double life. As for my anime interests, I like almost everything. I really like a good action anime as long as it has style like Cowboy Bebop, Gantz, or Darker Than Black. I also like ecchi a lot, everything from the softer, more girly ecchi like Zero no Tsukaima all the way to the not so soft like kiss x sis. Occasionally i go for a girly title like inuyasha or gosick. I dont care for anything mecha, antything too Shōnen or immature (which all depends on context), anything too girly(im an adult male), or anything with BL as a main component(the same reason as above).
