Currently very ill. I cannot share the same energy in greeting you, but know that it is appreciated!

Thank you, Gotie! Had I seen this last night (went to bed about thirty minutes prior), you would have been #16.

yellow eyes of Kirito and the others is just an incarnation which is a side effect due to how the Graphics Engine vs the actual code base interacts with each other on different layers or is just basically exploiting how mind uploading works frame-of-reference is data being constantly uploaded into the system, that data is part of game world) in sci-f is not explained because they do not know what is at all in the anime but in reality it exists and the reason why he uses it best is that it is used only seriously life-threatening and anxious - the irony is that asuna and others use it as much as they can

"I mean, I still haven't gotten off my ass even after a while back having watched a Jordan Peterson video on this very topic of wasting time and it being the most valuable resource and what have you."

I guess the video didn't work, lol. I've got a good streak going where I don't eat like garbage and I get up off the computer and pace around for, like, 40-60 minutes a couple times a day. A little bit of fasting here and there doesn't hurt, either. What exactly would you constitute as "being productive"? I'd consider watching and writing about anime constructive, but not many others would.

"I should probably be giving my life choices a little more consideration."

Assuming you're not lying/fucking with me, I don't see much issue with doing that. Just don't expect to reel in the most puritan people, lol.

"I took a second dig through your blog earlier (now past march)"

Appreciate the support!

"You've been writing quite a lot in recent time."

I disagree. There was a period maybe a year ago when I was writing content once every two days. Now the pace is more like every 4-5 days. March is an exception, as I put a stipulation on myself to watch a film every day and write a review on it for the blog. Outside that, I really don't write as much as I used to. Well, my game job also has me write, so maybe that compensates?

I liked reading your thoughts on Demon Slayer, though it's a bit too bloated to respond to things individually. For me, personally, if the characters don't grip me, it isn't going to last. Shounen's tendency to overexplain everything and pace itself like dragging one's face in gravel would be somewhat excusable if there were a personal reason to follow it. I didn't like the main dude or his sister (though didn't dislike them, either), and anyone else who showed up didn't fare much better. I will slightly disagree that the villains didn't appear to be cartoon villains, because all the baddies I saw the main dude combat were all super cartoon-y villains. Might not be the same for the BIG baddie, but the henchmen were super uninteresting to me.

Write a review, dude!

P.S. How much are you drawing nowadays?

"I've had all the time in the world to do whatever it is that I want but I still end up wasting most of it"

That seems to be a common theme for most, lol. I definitely try to get some artistic stuff in, but it's easy to kick back and relax while being home all day.

"I got rid of my depression back in 2016 and have since been pretty happy actually."

I'm really glad for you, dude. I've been dealing with some personal things for the last few years, too, but I'm in a place where I'm pretty content. Hoping for something more, but aren't we all?

Since we last spoke, I've become an editor/HR manager for an online gaming publication called KeenGamer, which is where I put a lot of my work into (outside irl work). It's required a lot from me and keeps my life a little busier, which is nice (not nice for my weight, though; lots of sitting, lmao).

Lol I guess man

Been a long time, friend. How have the years treated you?
mahoganycow Apr 21, 2020 4:05 PM
I didn't leave you a comment on your birthday the last two years and I'm honestly furious at myself. Almost as furious as I am at you for not promptly arriving to murder me. It's never too late. For murdering me, that is. This "happy two birthdays" is definitely far too late.

Did you draw your profile picture? If so, holy cow. I fondly remember speaking to you about the nature of hobbies like drawing and writing, and you showed me some sketches that I thought required quite a bit of skill. That looks polished.
