About Goatee
I'm 21 years old, and started really watching anime when I was 18. I'm a sucker for romance drama anime, as well as psychological dramas. I can't stand ecchi anime that lack a decent plot at least. Besides watching anime, I am an aspiring opera singer as well as a pianist, and I've been a lead singer in many rock and metal bands. This is partially why I can't stand anime without a decent soundtrack lol. I also like to play visual novels (not the ones where it's just porn) because some absolutely phenomenal stories, like G senjou no maou and Ever17.

haha you keep making "There She Is" sound more and more awesome :P Oh man I couldn't agree more about Clannad!!! From the beautiful original soundtrack to the dango daikazoku ending, it's stellar :) hmmm I've never actually heard of Escaflowne :P Maybe I'll check it out :)

Oh really?! That's actually so awesome!!! I really admire composers for film, video games, anime, etc! I'm kind of a musician myself, I compose my own music on my own personal spare time. I'm actually getting a lot of inspiration from japanese rock and OST from animes. I read that you're an opera singer as well?! You seem quite talented :P Well I wish you the best from Canada :) Maybe one day I'll be able to listen one of your tunes :P

hello i am just here to compliment you on your kaze no stigma review, because you are seemingly the only person who is able to see the problems that i had with this anime, to be honest i was getting tired of my friend praising this show as though it was the second coming of christ. At any rate good review, i will be sure toread some of your other reviews in the future

Even so its not something that a normal person would enjoy watching, there are the sickos who enjoy such scenes but they are few in number, for many it was a matter of tolerance and enjoying Sugou getting his face broken in twice later.

Nah, Heathcliff helps out Kirito since ALO is made from SAO thus his mind was connected and as the creator his GM status is even higher, but that in itself wouldn't piss off many, some may just say its a bad plot device or w/e but none would get mad like "that" scene.

It doesn't matter if it did or didn't, people who read the LN would have reacted to it one or another, its like saying you read SAO yet didn't remember Kirito using Dual Blades the first time, "that" scene tho was a scene with negative impact, many people didn't like it.

cool. I plan to go to Ufm - Flint in the future. I just need to fix a few things. I was also at Youmacon this year (it was my first time going there and my 3rd anime convention). I had a great time. p.s. who did you cosplay as at Youmacon? It's alright , i send random friend requests to lots of folks and don't mind recieving friend requests and it's cool to find someone who lives close by.

Well its KyoAni so its nice animation is to be expected; but that aside i really enjoyed it. I liked the Lelouch and Hiei references and also the whole laid back vibe of it. KyoAni really specializes in these kinds of shows and it shows. It may not have a plot which will blow someone away but its character development holds a lot of potential.
