"Hello, my name is Nick and I'm an addict." That is what my friends tell me I should say about myself when it comes to anime. I really love anime, the closest ones to my heart being shoujo (with some notable exceptions, I can't be too biased) This probably stems from the start of my anime watching career being Cardcaptor Sakura at age 10 while I was living in Japan.
~Some other anime that I love that I do not have room to put on my favorites list are ef- a tale of melodies, Aria the Animation, Aria the Origination, Baccano!, Tsubasa Chronicle, all of the Ghost in the Shell anime, Haibane Renmei, Kannazuki no Miko, Lucky Star, Noir, R.O.D. the TV Series, Seto no Hanayome, sola, Strawberry Panic, the Kara no Kyoukai movies, Vampire Knight, and Vampire Knight Guilty. Some other characters I have come to love are Ryougi Shiki, Saginomiya Isumi, Katsura Hinagiku, Suu (Shugo Chara!) and Alice Carroll.
~After some debate, I finally decided to include all the hentai I have seen over the years on my anime list, as well. So alot more 2-6 episode OVA's have been added. And I do actually watch the entire hentai episodes too. They are usually pretty funny or amusing in some fashion. That is besides the fact that, who doesn't like the occasional schoolgirl rape or tentacle hentai? (Maybe, both at the same time?) Or even a nice fantasy or comedy type? Anyway, there are all types and they are amusing for different reasons.
~The things I like besides anime are: the military (I'm active duty USAF), cigars and pipes (no cigarettes, yuck!), building/fixing computers, being nice to women, going for walks while smoking to view the stars at night, fantasy novels, unique games (like Portal), being lazy, and working (in my mind this does not contradict my liking to be lazy).
~Things I don't like are politics, disorganized music in my collection, when people complain about others smoking out of doors, dirty bathrooms, paperwork, and places that are loud, crowded and noisy.
~ My dream is for me to open up a cigar lounge, a quiet place so poele can sit back and relax. Kids and pets will not be allowed to enter though. There will be easy music playing, a nice courtyard with benches and hammocks, rooms for meetings and get togethers, a full menu of good food, an extensive wine listing, a fully stocked bar, a walk in humidor for cigars, and a fine pipe collection with lots of pipe tobacco.
