Eh, I'm kind of surprised that you've found me. I'm not the most sociable soul out there. (And to think that O+ is my blood type...) Despite that, I'm friendly person, or so I think.
I'm definitely a more avid manga reader than I am an anime watcher, though, you've more than likely have guessed that I do watch some anime. All around, I generally prefer older manga and anime series to newer ones. In my opinion, the characterization and plots of many newer series seem uninspired, and I fail to understand why so many folks think that the artwork of newer series is so much better than that of older series. Yet I'd never go as far as to dismiss recent anime and manga series altogether, and a newer series will occasionally catch my attention.
I hope you've figured that I'm someone who doesn't flock to a series simply because it's popular. For that matter, I'm perpetually slow about hearing about what's hot. I'm more concerned about quality than I am popularity.
And even though I sometimes enjoy something fluffy, I tend to prefer something that has a bit of depth. This just doesn't qualify for my manga and anime habits; I'm also pretty choosy about the movies and shows I watch, the books I read, and the music to which I listen. And even though I may have tough standards, I have an awful lot of difficulty transforming my opinion of something into a numerical score; keep in mind that many of the series I have rated may actually be better reflected by a score a level higher or lower than I have listed.
...Geesh...I probably seem incredibly serious and stuffy, don't I? I'm really not, but after reading the above description, I'm sure you'll have a hard time believing that, huh?
I'm kind of bothered that Mr. Burns, Stewie Griffin, and Hannibal Lecter share the same personality type as me. I've never really taken the time to see if other personality types are plagued by evil fictional characters, but I have the hunch that that's not the case. Trust me, I'm not evil. ^_^;
