You're right, the reviews seems rushed and it would be more beneficial for me to have added more to it.
At this moment though, I don't quite have the time to do so. When I do, I may rewrite it.

Ehh, while 7 was a bit too high (i dont rate manga often and forget my averages), I still think it was good. It was a bit rushed but I liked all the chapters about surviving in juvenile detention, I was also reminded of an anime I watched last year that was similar and I highly recommend that in turn called Rainbow. Its underated since i never heard anyone talk about it recently.
I already have it on my PTR, while im not good with novels, i guess ill try to read it in one sitting when i can.

I just finished Akagi and it was very good. While I knew little of mahjong, Akagi still manages to be exciting and thank god the subtitles explained the combinations used. I dont think I have ever skipped the opening,the ending of Akagi is pretty much non-existant but it was good while it lasted. Since I gave Kakegurui a 7 and I dont think it is anywhere close to good as Akagi is, I just gave it an 8. Also what are your thoughts on the Flower of Evil? I loved the manga but tried a little of the anime but the art put me off big time.

I don't think DMC would be too far of a stretch, that's considered a classic even by elitists

Ahh i see, that is good considering that i tried it a long time ago but dropped almost instantly because i understood nothing. I have just always understood things since gambling and baseball are easy to understand and i could easily google the terms but mahjong i just couldnt understand at all. Im gonna look up some tutorials and rules again if im going to start to enjoy it more, ill maybe start the kurosawa manga after im done with the when they cry manga series, currently i have no access to my computer and can only watch stuff on my phone. Thanks for the recommendation

One outs was really good but it lacked thrill due to the protagonist being overpowered but i knew that since i read the creators other work - Liar Game. Which I highly recommend if you can get used to the art.

I never knew that Akagi was not only about mahjong, ill try it again but i hope there isnt too much mahjong since i couldnt understand how to play it no matter how much i tried.

Ahh well that is quite complex but you do you ok? I just rate things comparing them to similar shows and giving the score to the one i liked more or just rate it based on how i enjoyed watching it

I dont think thats the case as i have a reason for giving such high scores. The reason i do so are exam results. To me getting 50% correct in my exam is the same as failing, while 70% is the average. While i did try to lower scores for most of them i cant really decide on some since i dont remember how good i found them to be.

Elfen lied and mirai mikki are both mindless fun as i just ignored the plot holes and watched how they decided to play it out. Elfen lied had a good ending while mirai nikki somehow ruined it so i gave EL a 8. While black butler was a nice mystery, there was no actual action since the butler is op. But the book of circus side story was the one of the best things i have ever seen with one of the best conclusions to a story. It was one of those mysteries i couldnt figure what happens next. I think thats how i ended up giving those scores, but those are just my opinion.

Yes im not good with heights either but while kaiji can lose gambling games and become a slave worker easily, he can still come back but he cannot die because of plot armour so i knew he would survive.

I like all of the arcs but i think the Rock Paper Scissors arc is my favourite one because i found it to be the most intense one
