the twist in shinsekai yori wasnt predictable,the twist in suisei was predictable as hell.
why you ask? shinsekai yori built itself up correctly,it brought us into the anime's world,and showed us how everything works,it felt very complete and logical,and then the twist took place.
In suisei the story was incomplete,we dont know from where those aliens came,and the moment you saw those alliens in the research facility,all was pretty clear.the foreshadowing in suisei is bad thus it makes it predictable.in fact,almost everyrhing in suisei is bad(apart from the premise,gen knows how to make these)
how can you compare a show that has only a good premise to shinsekai?

its a twisted way of thinking,those "human-monster" twists are quite common,does it mean all the animes with this twist are similar?no,the difference is how they are executed,you cant say the twists are the same because the twist in suisei was a big piece of shit and the one in shinsekai was great because of the execution,in general,you cant compare a shit like suisei to shinsekai yori and make a recommendation.
