I evaluate according to their own story, world and course.
When I rate anime/manga, I evaluate it based on the introduction, development and conclusion. If it starts with a great story and progresses well and then suddenly becomes very bad, I give it a low score.

My sense of score
10 - "My" favourite
9 - Very good
8 - Good
7 - Fine
6 - Above average
5 - Neither good nor bad
4 - Bad
3 - Very bad
2 - At least they tried something
1 - Nonsense, absolutely garbage
I don't give score to recap episodes.

(I add notes to some anime/manga, those who are curious about my opinion can read it.)

The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.

But it will improve a lot afterwards.
