I've read both your Clannad AS and Honey and Clover reviews. As much as I love Clannad AS, it does not deserve to be #1 at all. More like the top 20 or top 30. It's a fantastic anime noneless but there are some inconsistencies that drag it under the line for it to reach perfection. One of the problems was the amount of supernatural and the lack of time to explain the conclusion but there was a summary, but not enough to expand on details. Honey and Clover is indeed, a brilliant romance/slice of life anime but you seemed to be a bit biased with both of them. Your reviews are still good though. You just need to elaborate more on the anime and your views on it.
ok, well dark is totally fine with me. i watched berserk the anime and was blown away. but the ending was really bad. thats why i want to read the manga. also i recently watched the first and second movie, which were awesome, altough its almost completely made with CGI and looks a bit weird.
if you like "dark" animes you should definetly check out: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. and make sure to watch the second season too. i tell you...this show is insane, but so genius...in my opinion. ^_^
