Hmm, I don't know where to start with this anime. I thought that there were pros and cons to this anime, but overall, I think that I have to say something about it. It kinda sucked. Not too badly at least. The anime was able to bring some enjoyment to my life and able to keep me semi-satisfied.

Story: The story was about a stereotypical highschooler...who had magical powers. Yes, he has this unique ability that sets him apart from most of his peers. However, he is captured and sent to a school, along with his younger sister, to a new school. There, hilarity ensues...sometimes. The ... story focuses on the student council of the school finding the various students around the city where they live in and in a somewhat small part of Japan. This sounded fine, and was actually starting to shape up to be a semi-good anime. That is until...shit happens. Basically, without revealing too much about what happened, basically there were twists to the story that were just...all over the place. They tried fixing the problem that occurred with Otozaki Yu's little sister by adding in a plot element that just didn't make sense, because apparently there was another sibling involved that apparently is very important, and they just pulled it out of their asses as to why things happened the way they did. Then, they do another plot twist and don't really try to think logically about the situation. They just wanted to try and justify the fact that "Oh, love story. Let's roll with that" *Hint Hint: It is kinda obvious once you see the anime. It is between Yu and another character* Overall, it had its fine points, but it REALLY should have rethought how to do basically the second half of the story. Rating: 5/10

Art: This may surprise some people, but I actually didn't like the art style very much. Don't get me wrong, the art style was very beautiful at times, where it showed very realistic backgrounds and some good special effects. However, there were times it tried to look modern, but end up just looking like someone forgot to put their creativity caps on, and resorted to much older styles of animation. For example, the scenery during the episode where the student council goes to the forest is breathtaking and just so well done. Then, when it comes to the final like 2 episodes, they try to show bullet holes, bullets being fired, blood that is supposed to be from fresh wounds, but for some reason, looks very stiff, etc. It just didn't hold up to what I expected. Rating: 5/10

Sound: Overall, it was mediocre at best. There were some songs in there that just simply beautiful, like some of the piano solos, but even then, it was very limited to a few episodes, particularly the last few. The sound effects were decent enough, but the explosions didn't sound very realistic and they sounded very generic. Even crumbling and bullets being fired sounded very generic. Also, the voice acting was actually not bad, but it wasn't a stellar performance either, and there weren't really any bad characters and bad voices. Overall, they were decent and there wasn't much of a problem.

Okay. Here is where it REALLY falls short. The Characters in this show were largely not that great. Nao was probably the exception, because she was the most enjoyable character and she was the one that went through the most development, surprisingly. Because she had experienced things outside of her comfort zone, and she was willing to think outside the box with a lot of things, displaying an untapped potential for intelligence. However, I must really say that the main character of Yu really pissed me off overall. Now, there were relatable moments with the guy, and that was great, but he seemed very arrogant at times, especially at the beginning. That even plays out in the last episode, where instead of LOGICALLY thinking things through, he still continues on his "journey to insanity" I would call it. He would have saved himself and got some brownie points back from me, if he just used his head for once. Even though he wasn't the smartest character, he still had a good amount of cunning, which would have brought him a long way, but instead, he went WAY WAY overboard in the last episode, and didn't really think things through. He even had a dilemma about being logical and smart, because if he went back in time, since he gained the power to do so, it would have solved everything. Sure, the drawback to the power of time traveling would cause him to lose a little eyesight, but COME ON, you are expending more energy than you should have, and you would already be sacrificing some of your eyesight to fix the problem, but not all. *sigh* He is not as bad as Makoto in School Days. Trust me. He still has to cross another ocean to do that, but so far, he is probably in a hotly contested second position there with various other characters. Rating: 3/10

Enjoyment: This is going to be the shortest part, because it is much more simple. I enjoyed the anime for its attempt at being great, but I also was using my head in this, while thinking things on the level they were in the anime, and I still was baffled. There were things that made me smile big, but there were plenty of things that pissed me off. I overthink things, but really, who doesn't. Honestly, if they had just kept the same formula, but added different variables to the equation to get different answers, it would have been a great anime. However, what they did was start with one formula, then erase that formula, and try a new one, then go with that one for a little bit, then change it again. It just didn't work, but it was still enjoyable. Rating: 5/10

Overall, I will give this anime a 4/10 for trying. Now, if they went off the deep end to begin with, and did so many bad things, this anime would be a lot lower, and maybe as bad as School Days. However, it did have many more redeemable qualities, and it was almost a 5/10, but the last episode was just not...necessary to do the way they did it... In fact, it would have been like 7/10 before the halfway point even, because it was actually fairly well done, but the plot twists were just not that great... so if you want to check this out, go ahead, but if I were you, I would stay away from this, because it was just a mess of an anime that could have been great but fell flat on its face.

Overall rating: 4/10.

A scene is set. A continent is at war, and a small country is caught in the mix of it all, Gallia. This surrounds a make-believe Second World War, where it is between the Federation in the west and the Empire to the East. Caught in the middle of those two, the small country of Gallia is caught up in the war because of its rich amount of Ragnite, an essential fuel source within the universe of the anime. The anime follows Welkin Gunther, the son of the late General Gunther, who was a war hero in the First Europan War, and his adventures and ... operations as a commander. This anime sets the stage for an awesome anime, and without a doubt, it delivers, but not fairly well in some areas.

The story is set within a universe much like our own, and with the same social problems, political corruptness, etc. Discrimination is a big theme here that the story portrays very well, especially considering the fact that the Darcsen remind us SO much about the discrimination that the Jews received back before and during World War II. The anime was going to be a 10 in terms of story, if it had not been for the change of direction and focus right around episode 16, which switched from majorly being a show about how a war is affecting the squad as a whole, to how it is affecting the characters individually. Now, this doesn't sound bad at first, but the way it is done focuses WAY more on the main characters of Squad 7 and Squad 1, than of the side characters, where they were almost not focused much at all, except for a tender moment or two. Art was a bit worse. Overall: 8/10

Art tended to be fairly good until up till about episode half way through the anime, where the opening and closing themes changed to a much more enjoyable turn of events. This is where the art style and animation went down hill, and started to become clunky at times and sometimes very unnatural and disproportionate. Furthermore, the anime focuses on the aspects of war and combat in general, which a lot of times was very lackluster. I mean, come on. If you are a military based anime, you should focus on the combat, and also make it look good. That is all I am saying. Sound was actually really good. Overall: 6/10

Now, this may sound weird to you all, but I really liked the music. It helped to set the tone of the different scenes. Sure, it doesn't have TOO much in terms of variety, but it uses some of the songs and modifies them to create a different atmosphere nearly perfect for the scene. Now, some that read this might notice that the music is very similar to the game, which I know, since I own the game and have played some of the game. However, the music is used differently, as opposed to the game having a more repetitive way of using the music. Also, this is only barely a 9 because sometimes, there were problems, more of nitpicks, but the voice actors were a little bit weird sounding, but I was able to deal with it. Characters were a bit off, but solid. Overall: 9/10

Characters were fairly strong, because it showed us the struggles the squad went through. Their hardships. Their pains. Their joys. Their laughter. it was all great. Also, I will note that sometimes, I felt like punching Welkin in the face for making stupid decisions or saying stupid things that weren't appropriate to the situation, but that was part of this likeability. Also, there was another change in the behaviors of the characters and their development at around episode 16, especially with all the events that preceded them, and you will have to find out what I am talking about because it is spoiling things. Also, I do not like Faldio. Period. He does necessary things, but you don't really get to see how much of a human being he really is until the latter half of the anime. He seemed just there to be a plot convenient character. Furthermore, in terms of the focus, I didn't like the way the anime used the squad. I can understand the fact that you need to focus on the main characters, but other than a few instances within the anime, you don't get to see much of the squad on a personal and understandable basis. I am excluding a lot of the banter, because the banter usually happened during heavy moments or just important moments in general. I was hoping to see more of the side characters get more of a perspective as well, so that we could see their struggles and their triumphs. and also, Faldio didn't really get much attention when it came to his past, other than his time at the University. Last but certainly not least, I have a problem with the direction used for the Imperials side, more along the way of the change at the halfway point. In episode 9, you get at least some sense of the imperials and their motives, and that is great. They should have rolled with it. By the last few episodes of the anime, the imperials were beginning to look more like assholes and big jerks, especially Maximilian. He looked like a cold-hearted person, but he then just became an asshole who had no reason to do anything anymore except be an asshole and try to gain more power, which ultimately lead to his downfall. *surprise surprise* General Jaegar and Silvaria were the only two relatable Imperials, who had their own stake in the war and reasons to fight in the war. They could have focused a little bit more on just different issues, but they did a very solid job on characters. Overall: 7/10

Enjoyment of this anime was very high, mostly because I am a history buff and I love things that give off the historical flare, along with the militaristic flare, and this show really did just that. I really enjoyed this anime through and through, and I would love to watch it again. Overall: 9/10

This is an 8/10 because it switched focuses in terms of art style, characters and the story, especially characters and art style. I freakin loved this anime. It was so enjoyable, even with the shift in focus. I would definitely recommend this anime to whomever wants to see it.

Going into this anime, I didn't have very high expectations, but it was part of one of my favorite genres. Also, this is one of the anime where I had some of the hardest time actually deciding on how to rate it. Then, I realized that it is probably going to be just above average. And it did just that.

Story:

It revolves around the wannabe swordsman named Parn and his fellow adventurers who are trying to avert further warfare and save Lodoss from the oncoming evil. This is a setup for a good anime, and I liked it. However, there were many plotholes that could ... be dug into this anime, and for good reasons, and not necessarily bad ones. This story was meant to be more of a story about a hero who triumphed against all odds, and trust me, the odds were stacking against him WAY more than I anticipated, but he prevailed in the end, and got the girl. Also, it felt like it was VERY rushed too, so there is that. So basically, it wasn't horrible, but it definitely was what I expected, and did have some twists and turns I did not expect, but overall, it did its job. (5/10)

Art:

Oh, I dreaded actually getting to this part, because it is a 90's anime, and I know I shouldn't bash a 90's anime for not looking very good, but sadly, the animation was bad, and that is even when you consider the times it was in. There was a whole lot of reused shots and reused still images. Also, some of the flames didn't look like flames, some of the blood didn't look like blood, and even some of the lip movements didn't even happen when a character was speaking, despite them not being too far away. It just looked like a big mess. Sure, I did enjoy seeing how some of the characters looked and how they moved, but oh my word, I sometimes had to pause the anime, when a particularly badly animated scene or movement occurred. (3/10)

Sound:

Now, the anime surprised me a little by adding in music that wasn't exactly fitting the tone all the time, nor was it varied, but it was consistent and knew what it was trying to say, even if it didn't always say it. It had a couple of REALLY good songs, or selections of songs, and some of the sound effects weren't that bad either. However, there were a couple songs that were mediocre at best. The voice acting was pretty good, but it just wasn't as great as it could have been, both dubbed and subbed included. It was just above average, but it didn't pull through all the time. (6/10)

Characters:

Well, what can I say, there were some I really liked and some I really disliked. Parn, for example, has some of the best luck I have seen of a fantasy anime protagonist, like seriously. He didn't even know how to fight with a sword until almost halfway through the third episode, and by the time the anime ended, he apparently was good enough to handle one of the main villains, who could easily kill him in the first few episodes. and even though this is the character section, another problem I had was the lack of time notifications about whats going on. I really didn't like that part, especially when it came to the development of characters. Also, the love story between Deedlit and Parn felt SO forced that I could become one of the most confused people on the planet after seeing it, and yet it was still so interesting, because you know it is part of the story. Also, everyone else just felt more like someone who was just there to fulfill a necessary spot, of both the different classes and races like humans, elves and dwarves. I don't know. They were all very likeable, but at the same time, there was not much time to explore into many of their stories. (5/10)

Enjoyment:

However, this was the highest rated part of the series, and it is the shortest. I REALLY enjoyed watching this anime, despite all of these mediocre findings of mine. What can I say? I love fantasy, and this anime fulfills the role nicely, even though it has a lot of flaws in it. To me, its like seeing Lord of the Rings. Sure, there are a number of plotholes in it that I can think off the top of my head, but it definitely was very enjoyable to watch, and after watching this anime, I want to explore more of the lore in this universe, because it is so fascinating, and yet there was so little that was put forth out there.

Overall, I really enjoyed this anime, despite its flaws. It may need a lot of work in different areas, but I do recommend you watch it, even if it might not be that great.

Elfen Lied was a LOT better than I actually thought when I watched it like 5 years ago. I literally thought that it was literally just disgusting and not really much else, but boy was I wrong after rewatching it, to an extent.

Elfen Lied is about this species of people called the Diclonius, sorry for mispelling, who basically have these "horns" and "invisible-looking" hands that help defend them or attack whatever they wish to have attacked. Anyway, one of the Diclonius, Lucy, had escaped from the facility and met up with her long lost friend from years ago. There are some things in this set up I don't particularly like. First off, the ending was crap, mostly because they didn't exactly conclude much of anything. Second, I didn't like the "incest" that happens between two of the main characters. Also, I don't particularly like who dies and stuff, purely because some of the scenes were much more graphic than it should have been. But I did love how they did the moral and social issues surrounding it, because not only can I relate, but they helped to push the story along in a pretty interesting way. (8/10)

The Art is probably one of the best aspects of this anime, despite the profuse amounts of blood and gore. In fact, I think the artistic elements of the gore and blood help to propel the anime to heights I couldn't even imagine. Despite it being in the early 2000's-ish, it did an amazing job on its artistic style. (10/10)

The music also was literally a masterpiece. I couldn't stop listening to the different versions of Lilium. Now, I know there isn't much of a variety in the music, but literally, Lillium is one of those songs that doesn't really not get stuck in your head. It is pretty amazing. (10/10)

The characters are somewhat weak, but still fairly strong, at least for the main two characters of Lucy and Kohta. Other than that, the Doctor is the only decent character in the whole supporting cast, and he actually is a pretty decent character. He basically tried to help understand the Diclonius race and help them to control their "powers". (7/10)

Overall, it is a VERY well done anime, and it just tugged on my heart strings in just the right way, despite also fearing that if these people were real, that I would have my heart ripped out as well.

Sword Art Online is definitely one of those anime that caught me a little off-guard. I was kinda expecting a whole lot from it, but it didn't exactly deliver it how I wanted it to.

The Story revolves around this thing called the Nerve Gear, which puts you into a virtual reality state within video games, which is AWESOME! Sword Art Online was one of the first games on the market with the Nerve Gear, and only around 10,000 people could get it. Kirito was one of those people, but there was a catch that people didn't realize. Once you go into the game, you are stuck there, and if you die in the game, you die in real life. That was an interesting twist, but once they went ahead into the next couple of episodes, apparently there was a time skip that confused the hell out of me, and there weren't any explanations to it. Also, along the way Kirito meets up with various different characters, primarily women, who help him along his journey to defeat all the levels of the game, which apparently is the only way out of the game. Then, apparently when the stuff with SAO was done, a new game called Alfheim online came out, and in this one, if you die in the game, its actually okay... what? The only major problem I had with this was the fact that it was a bit too rushed with the story, especially with Sword Art part. I am surprised I even am giving it the score that I am, but it was still well done. (8/10)

The Art was simply amazing. For an anime that came out only a few years ago, it surpassed my expectations with the artistry and physics engine within the anime. Now, it wasn't perfect, because I have seen slightly better within 2012, but it was VERY well done, except for a couple of minor parts that I nitpicked. (9/10)

The Sound was pretty good, but it wasn't great. There were definitely some excessively used songs in it that were very well placed and are epic, but the opening and endings were more mediocre, simply because they were a bit wonky for my taste. (8/10)

Now, unfortunately, I have to say that the characters were probably the worst aspect of this anime. Now, Kirito and Asuna are probably one of the best anime romances I have seen in awhile, despite it being somewhat forced, but that is because mostly of the situation. However, all the other characters were mostly there to fulfill their respective roles, and that was pretty much it. They were special in their own way, but they weren't great, nor horrible. (7/10)

Overall, this anime did its job and compelled me to watch further, and it was very enjoyable, but there were apparent mistakes with the story, characters, etc. that were apparent, so I didn't rate it too highly. It is well deserved to get this rating, but Sword Art Online II doesn't deserve nowhere near as much praise....simply because Sword Art actually concluded their story, and plus...it is pretty bad anyway...just saying (And no, I am not trying to make a review of it, because I don't even think its worthy of that, and that is my honest opinion, so don't get your panties in a wad, if I don't like the anime you do.)

In English, it is known as "Rumbling Hearts." Its a romance anime that likes to take a look into relationships among friends and how they play off each other. Now, I have seen this at least one other time, and honestly, I thought it was pretty bad, but that was about 6 years ago. I rewatched it again but didn't finish it, and then about a year ago, I watched it again, and I loved it. Why all this change? Well, for one, I couldn't relate to them years ago, but now that I am older, the changes they made also I can relate to, so here we go, Rumbling Hearts.

The Story is about how 4 friends grow in their friendship, struggle with their friendship, until one of them succumbs to an accident, and they all were never the same again. Now, It may not seem like a good romance anime, but each of these people are unique, in the sense that they develop almost like real people and they go through semi-real struggles. Now, I don't quite understand why 14 episodes, because it seems that they fleshed out some things, and they should have just done a 24-ish length instead of making it this confusing, but it was a very well done story, even if some things don't seem right. (8/10)

The art wasn't spectacular, but it was VERY good for its time. For anime that have appeared around this time, it is definitely very well done visually. This is also a year, where it is transitioning between the older styles, like Berserk and even older anime have been in to a more modern style with some modern effects. Now, it isn't even the best of its time, but it definitely is definitely up there, in terms of visuals. (8/10)

The music and such wasn't too great, but it wasn't even mediocre. It had a nice ambiance, which really did well at the very least keeping me entertained and keeping me VERY interested in the story and everything else. (7/10)

Now, the characters were actually better than I expected them to be, since it is a romance anime. Now, I don't think that these characters are better than Clannad's characters, but I didn't finish Clannad at all, so I can't really judge it wholeheartedly. It mostly revolves around the 4 main characters, two males and two females, who have some wierd and convoluted love rectangle go on, which helps to add interesting twists. Mitsuki is definitely my favorite of the two women, and she goes through some tough emotional stuff with Takayuki, the main male lead. Now, the only character that I don't particularly like is Takayuki's best guy friend, Shinji Taira, but he is more of a supporting character overall, despite being important to the development of Takayuki and Mitsuki. (7/10)

Overall, this anime was definitely better after watching it a number of times, but it definitely could have been played better. It definitely was a very enjoyable anime to watch and its one of those anime that you have to see, as a rival to Clannad, and no, I am not trying to say that it is better, because I haven't finished Clannad, and nor am I going to finish it for awhile.

Have you ever watched a vampire anime, and thought that it was just going to be awful and somewhat reminiscent of Twilight? Then watch this and see for yourself, because I was VERY surprised when I saw this. I thought it was going to be a very stupid anime, and I was DEAD wrong (No pun intended).

The Story was about a small village in rural Japan, isolated from most parts of developed society, like the city or the town a few miles away. Everything in the village was fine, until a new family moved into the new Mansion that was built on top of the hill overlooking the village. One day, Megumi, a girl seeking a new life in the big city, went up there to see what its like and wasn't seen again until she was nearly dead. The strange occurrence of people getting sick with a mysterious disease baffled the village doctor and his nurses. It continued to baffle everybody. More and more people ended up like Megumi. The doctor was baffled and started looking into it. More and more strange things keep occurring and before you know it, many of the people that have been known and loved in the village either have died, moved away, or were stricken with grief over the fact that their loved ones have died. This plot was very intriguing, because I literally was baffled and I couldn't quite tell what was going to happen next at all. it was literally like one of the biggest mysteries of all time, except for the fact that once you know what the dead people were, you knew at least some of the same attributes of a vampire were the same, but they were different in several different aspects. Also, there were "Special" vampires that could look like normal humans and could walk out in the sun too. That was also very cool. (9/10)

The art was simply amazing. It didn't quite look as good at different moments when the "vampires" were walking around at night or appeared at night, at different times. But it just simply looked amazing. Even the blood looked realistic, at times, and that was also cool. (9/10)

The music in this was simply astonishing. It may have been the same song played in the anime, but my word, they used different pitches and tones for the song to fit different settings and situations. The openings and endings were great too, but nowhere near as good as the music within the anime. (10/10)

The Characters were probably the weakest part of the anime, but they are still very well done, for the most part. My favorite was the Doctor, and he literally was one of the smartest people in the village, understandably so. He knew how to combat the situation in a way that befitted science. However, you get the contrast of ideals with his best friend, the priest at the temple, who tried to welcome and accept the vampires as living creatures as well. The priest wasn't really even as great as the doctor, but he sure did play his part well and seem like an individual. All the other characters were great overall, but some of the supporting characters were literally characters I despised and was glad that they had died. You could find some trope of people within this village to at least sympathize with and that is what makes them great overall. Like, I didn't particularly like Megumi very much, but it just was unfortunate that she had to become a vampire. (8/10)

Overall, this anime left me BAFFLED and STUNNED at how good it was. It wasn't the absolute best anime out there, but it was SO much better than I expected. Literally, I was left guessing, for the most part, at what would happen next, because they used the story and the characters in a way that helped to add some creepiness and yet some somberness to it. You didn't know who was going to die next, until maybe later on, when it became more apparent whom was on who's side. (10/10) for enjoyment and (9/10) overall.

First off, let me clarify the fact that this anime is one of my favorites of all time, and for good reason, and some people don't quite understand this.

Now, the story is about a man named Ryner Lute, who is a man with a special set of eyes that can make him mimic the use of magic almost instantaneously. He is joined by a lady warrior named Ferris Eris, along his adventures, in order to find the ancient relics within the lands of the continent, so that Roland can become one of the greatest kingdoms on earth. Also, the King of Roland, Sion Astal, was the bastard son of a nobleman, who seeks to provide justice to his land and even to the world. Now, there are many mishaps along the way, and there are some decisions that I think shouldn't have been made, but overall, the story was one of the best parts about this anime, despite the use of the flashback.

The art was nothing less than amazing. I loved how it was used to show the different contrasts between characters, and their demeanor. Also, it gave us something to look at when we want something to stick out in our minds, which lets us to believe that it even sets up the ambiance in he scene. It simply was amazing.

The Sound is probably the best part of this anime. The music was nothing less than captivating almost every single moment of the anime, along with the great opening and closing music, but that was the weakest music in it, but it was still amazing.

The characters were probably the weakest part of the anime. Ryner Lute was the best character within the anime, and you see his struggles, his pain, his laughter, his development as a character. He is one of the best protagonists of all time, despite his obsession with naps. Ferris Erris is a somewhat strong female lead, but she sometimes is helpless with dealing with Ryner Lute's behavior, often calling him a Womanizer and a Pervert, when he is not. Also, she doesn't really have the most original of names, but she is definitely a badass, if one might say so. Sion is also a fairly strong character. He is constantly doing paperwork, visits, parties, etc. when he is king. You see his struggles as king, thinking about how to govern the kingdom, how to deal with Ryner and people like him, etc. There aren't very many other main characters, but there are a lot of major supporting characters, like Kiefer Knolls, but she only plays a major supporting role because she was part of the magic academy that Ryner and Sion were a part of. Other than the 3 major characters, you don't really see much development from them, but you do see enough for them to be entertaining to you, like the romantic relationship building between one of Sion's generals and a noble lady, which is very enjoyable to watch, trust me. Also, there is a group that watches out for Ryner and stuff, but they don't really play much into the anime, in terms of the plot, until the later half of the anime, and even then, they aren't really the greatest.

Overall, this anime is one to behold for me. I know many people seem to disagree, but that is fine. Everyone has their own opinion on things, and I can definitely respect that. I wish that we could agree, but we are human beings. This anime is definitely a recommendation. Still want to play the visual novel, because I heard its far better, but I still haven't found anything about it yet.

Another, hmm, well this anime is not really that great. I am not even joking. It literally made me want to punch the creators for basically doing what they did, but also have to restrain myself, because some parts of this anime were actually decent.

The story revolves around a kid who came back to the town he grew up in, after medical problems cause him to need a better environment. Anyway, its all fine and dandy until the second episode or third episode, I don't remember which, because it didn't leave that much of an impression. That was when the first person was systematically murdered for some reason, and then I find out there is some kind of "Force" behind the fact that there are a certain number of people in the class, as opposed to another.... What? that is just confusing as hell, and whats worse, the girl with the eye patch apparently is that "extra student", for some reason, and the main character talks to her, and then he gets ostracized by the rest of the class.... I don't know. I wasn't able to follow the story. The real "extra" person you find out is actually a bit of a surprise, but also isn't, if you really think about it. (Yes, I will tell that much: The real "extra" person is technically not her)

The art was probably the best aspect of this, and even that isn't that great. For a more modern anime, it certainly isn't the best, but some of the explosions and other things like that did look more realistic at times. The blood and gore were okay looking, but they didn't leave an impression. Basically, when someone died, I am not surprised at how much blood and gore are there, but with actually how they died being. There was only one death that actually looked pretty cool, while also being disturbing, and it actually isn't one of the students. (Not much of a spoiler, but still one I guess.)

The sound wasn't really much of a spectacle. I wasn't impressed by it. The opening song, closing song, etc. It just didn't give that much of an impression, nor was it horrible.

The characters are, by far, the worst aspect to it. You mostly get the different tropes that are within a typical school setting, for the most part, and there is not much more exploration into the anime about it, but it did have a couple characters that stood out. The class representative (Red-haired chick. Dont remember her name) and the main character, but even then, they were just not that interesting. Until the first death, there really wasn't much bad with the characters.

Overall, I kinda enjoyed this anime, but at the same time, I had to realize that it really wasn't good and decent is the best I can really give it. Its an anime to see, just to see, not really anything more. Kinda spooky at times though.

Highschool of the dead was a extremely enjoyable anime, despite having many flaws within it.

The story follows a set of highschool students and the school nurse trying to survive a Zombie Apocalypse. Now, this isn't exactly an original idea of a zombie apocalypse, but within the anime community, as far as I know, its one of the first that actually takes its own twist into the genre, which I found to be very enjoyable. However, there were many plotholes that I could find and the story wasn't exactly "completed", so I was disappointed in that.

The Art was pretty good, especially with the fight scenes, blood and gore, and for the PLOT, if you know what I mean, but other than that, it didn't quite look up to par as I had hoped. The physics engine was an interesting take on how you animate BOOBS! It looked like each breast moved so much with just the smallest movement of the body. It just looked pretty awesome! and hey, since I am a guy, I love boobs, so they win in that department.

For the sound, there wasn't much in terms of awesomeness, except for the opening song, but that was about it. All the other music to the anime was only fulfilling its purpose within the anime.

The characters were pretty good, considering the fact that most of the women in the anime were being exploited for their.... "assets" and body. The most enjoyable main characters were, in order from most enjoyable to the least enjoyable: Saeko Busujima, Takashi Komuro, Kohta Hirano, Rei Miyamoto, Saya Takagi and Shizuka Marikawa. Saeko was just a calm, cool and collective girl, for the most part (Dont want to spoil anything), when it came to fighting. Takashi was much more of a badass than I expected. Kohta was as well, despite him being much less athletic than he should have been. Rei was a bitch at times, when it wasn't appropriate, and looked desperate, but sometimes proved to be more useful than expected and could hold her own. Takagi was just an annoying genius of a character, who just fulfilled her role and had some nice fanservice to boot. (Winky face) Marikawa was just mostly fanservice everything. She had the biggest, bounciest and most squeezable boobs I have seen in awhile, and she did some important stuff, but she overall was freaking useless.

Overall, I enjoyed the hell out of this anime. The greatest part of this anime was the fanservice and the action scenes. my word, it was SO much better than any other aspect in this anime, by far. I would recommend seeing this, just for the fun of it.
