Happy new year!

I'm fine. Not much to report, haha.
I can relate. Life can be hectic at times, in different ways.

I'm actually disappointed by Dragon Age: Inquisition. I was enthralled by the game in the beginning. There was so much to do, and everything seemed right. And the graphics was so gorgeous (and still is haha). But after a while I got really bored by the enormous bunch of side quests, which normally had no impact at all. Too many boring MMO fetch quests, and the combat is for me a bit...monotone/simple. I liked the way DA: O handled its combat. It gave more opportunity for actual strategy (and the deathblows are cool). You have the tactical cam in the new one too, but I think it was clumsy made. There are good things too of course, and I can see why it appeal to so many. The characters in your group are still great (Though I like DAO's characters better), and the dialogue is mostly fun. But of course this is just my opinion. I'm not saying it is a bad game, but it had a lot to prove. I play it on PC btw, with a controller. How do you like it so far?

Well, I would suggest watching Log Horizon 2nd season. It follows the same recipe as the first, but with even more combat, in the strategic sense.

For your drama needs I would suggest Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, an anime about a pianist and his trauma from his earlier years, and his friends etc. It has that wonderful opening too. It was stuck in my head for quite some time.

If you have seen Fate/Zero, then the sequel Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works by Ufotable has released.

You're very inactive here, it seems xD
Angamo Sep 25, 2014 2:16 PM
You can't go wrong with any of these, I think ^^
Angamo Sep 25, 2014 2:01 PM
Hi!
Haha, I see. Not much going on here either. It's turning to colder times, I don't like that :(
Not played Destiny, because I don't have a new console and won't buy it for old. I'll stick to PC for a while.

Hmm...recommendations..!!!
Let's see..

Romance:
- "Ao Haru Ride" - Although a Shoujo, I think it was very good. Some pretty girls (and boys lol). Main person is kind of an airhead at times, but she is kawaii and shows to be a very good friend (she cares) and she has her moments. It is High School setting. Main male seems to be very rude at first, and doesn't seem to care much about anything, and there is a possibility you will hate him, but there are a reason behind all that, but if I say more now I will expose you for HUGE SPOILERS. He's naturally very popular and the main girls crush. All in all, a solid recommendation, and some feels in between.

Comedy:
- Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - Underlying romance plot in this one, but it's always making you laugh, so it's much more comedy than anything else, and a lot of witty and awkward situations. A girl has a crush on a manga writer, and when she confess, he misunderstands her feelings, and thinks she's a fan of his work. You'll see, it's hilarious. I will not say much on this one. Just watch it! It's that good.
Something weird is that some of the characters almost look like the same person, so I misunderstood a lot, haha. Between two boys the only thing I could see different was the slightly different hair colour, haha.

Action/Action-Fantasy:
- "Akame ga Kill" - I like this series from White Fox studios. It's kind of about a band of assassins doing bad and GORY things against the citadel/king/leader of a city/or whatever. But the king (who is like 6 years old, but has an ugly right hand guy who does most of the work) sends a lot of strong and good fighters to deal with the assassins and the resistance force. It's kind of a grey zone of whom are bad or not, because everyone kills each other in GORY ways, but it seems the citadel is the big meanie, and the assassins want to destroy the current ruler, because...yes, they are evil against their people. They want peace and harmony. There is still 12 episodes waiting to come out, but so far this is very good. And yes, it's a fantasy setting, so everything is very exaggerated. The most recommended action series of this season, I think.

- Aldnoah Zero - Fight between humans and humans from colonies in space. A focus on mecha (mechs). Very good soundtrack and superb visuals. Only seen 4 episodes, so can't say much yet. But I will stick to it.

- Sword Art Online II - DUUUUUUUUH. I know you watch it, haha.

Enjoyment:
- Barakamon - Just listen to the dialect of the country people in this anime. It's priceless. I love it. I love it!! Most enjoyable and lovely anime of the season. Watch it! It's about a guy doing calligraphy, getting expelled to an island with people living an old fashioned way. He gets to know a little energetic girl, which will turn his life upside down. Sounds boring perhaps? It's anything but that.

Must Watch:
- Zankyou no Terror. No words. Just watch it:)
The director of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo btw!

Dude, check out Hanasaku Iroha if you haven't. It's a simple, calm and enjoyable anime. But that didn't stop me from giving it a score of 9. I was really surprised about how amazing it was.
Angamo Jun 26, 2014 4:00 AM
Sisters arc<3
They made Accelerator a good villain, because you really hate him after all that Misaka clone bloodshed. It was nice watching that final fight. Really made up for all the wicked things that happened in the show. You're probably right. Reusing OP is a bit cheap. I get what you mean about Ruiko Saten. She really has a kind heart, and is Indeed making the show more nuanced. I like the personality of Misaka Mikoto, because she's such a badass. She became a lone wolf though, never depending on others, and doing everything herself. Indeed it was to protect the people she loved, but it went a bit far. But in the end she learned, and the last arc we saw everyone cooperate (although the villain in the last arc was weak).

I love both Haiyore Nyaruko-San OP. I think the anime was fair enough.

Hmm...If you have some good vocaloid, please send me :)

this is a vocaloid, altough very 80's lol.
Angamo Jun 26, 2014 3:39 AM
Long time Indeed:)

Hmm...I'm not sure about Kyoukai no Kanata, because of what I've heard it isn't that great. But okay, I'm going to give it a shot because you seem really fond of it ^^

Actually, I don't love that no game no life ED (OH MY GOOOD right..), but I wouldn't say I didn't like it either. I think Bokura wa Minna has the best ED of this spring season, along with a really good OP. If it weren't for the new Fairy Tail OP (It's awesome), Bokura wa Minna would have won best OP in my book.

I have a lot of honurable mentions when it comes to ED's though, and they are Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders ED, Gokukoku no Brynhildr ED, Blade & Soul ED and Hitsugi no Chaika ED.

Oh my, I haven't seen School Rumble. Should I? (although, I'm not sure "endless loop with no progression" is to my liking lol). I still have nightmares of the "endless eight" in Haruhi Suzumiya lol.

No minds were blown this spring, I agree. But there were some charmers!
LOL about your friend thinking Soul Eater NOT! was yuri. Sakura Trick is more up his alley. Hmm...I'm not sure if it is any yuri anime at all out this spring. I'm not very experienced with yuri, because HEY where did the plot go lol.
I'm all up for a yuri with decent story though, if it even exists.

Yeah, the Gogukoku no Brynhildr OP was refreshing. It's not everytime you get an OP served with no vocals. Me like. More of that please, if it's that good.
I see. I can tell you that I've only come halfways in Elfen Lied. I guess I don't have any motivation watching it, as it is quite depressing..

Haha, yes! Get everyone on the Golden Time train! You really have a golden time with that anime. I still have to rewatch that ending though. Didn't quite get what was going on last time, because I was in a rush when I watched it.
Angamo Jun 25, 2014 4:46 AM
Hey! How are you doing?:)
Angamo May 11, 2014 1:44 PM
I know you loved Clannad After Story, so you should check out Kanon. It has lots of feels too. Not the same ofc, but it deals with a few serious themes in this anime too. Throw in a bit humor too, and you got the recipe for a beautiful anime ^^

I agree on that Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is a good romcom. I really get in the right mood after watching the opening of the show. It took a while before I could really appreciate the art style, especially with the characters designs. But I guess it's because it looks a bit different from other shows in the same genre.

I've not seen something that has blown my mind yet in this spring season, but there has been a bunch of good shows, including No Game No Life, Gokukoku no Brynhildr and Soul Eater NOT!. Have you seen Elfen Lied? Gokukoku no Brynhildr is exactly like that, but with a bit more vibrant color pallete, but still as bloody as a whale explosion, haha.

Love Circulation is awesome.
This is my favorite remix of the Renai Circulation. Real House rhythms.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbNg0kP4wvU

Yeah, I will finish Kill la Kill sometime this year. Only on episode 7.
Thanks for the recommendations. I will check them out!

Oh yeah, I'm going to watch that ending of Golden Time again I think, and then I'm going to answer how I thought it was. The time I watched that ending I was a bit exhausted, so I need to freshen up my memories!^^

btw, what was your impression of the Toaru Kagaku no Raigun-series?:3
You really liked Ruiko Saten, eh ;)

This song from fripSide is so awesome too!:D
Angamo May 6, 2014 2:40 AM
Haha, I think it's cute from where the scenery changes (0:50), because the chibis dance really cute then. Before that it wasn't all that special. Liked the chibi on the far right the most. Her moves was awesome. Another anime I should watch perhaps? haha.

Oh man, every time someone says cute, both OP's of the Haiyore Nyaruko-San-series pop up in my head, haha. I love them. They are so energetic XD

But yeah, I go for team Dosick here. It's definitely cute!

Mkay, going to answer more of your comments later. GTG training :3

If you gave Maoyuu Maou Yuusha a chance, you should watch Ookami to Koushinryou. Many of the same makers. One of the best shows on this planet, IMHO.

I tried to watch Maoyuu, but I did not get hooked. I agree the OP is good.
Angamo Apr 19, 2014 3:38 AM
Hey! Yes, very long time no talk lol. It must be great to be home! :D
Not played Titanfall yet, but it looks fun, and I like how fast paced it seems to be.

It seems your eyes catch the right things^^
No Game No Life, Hitsugi no Chaika and Gokukoku no Brynhildr really had me impressed so far. Soul Eater Not! is so much fun too. And Blade & Soul for the action:3

I can't watch Hanamonogatari yet, because I've not seen the prequels. I feel like missing all the fun. :S

Bokura wa Minna has an awesome OP. Check out the OP for Captain Earth. It's so good. And check out this guy's remixes of varied animes. I love them:
https://soundcloud.com/motioncraft

You should check out Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii, Isshuukan Firends and Selector WIXOSS too. Not sure about Mekaku City Actors, only one episode out, but it has potential, one can see that:)

Even though you wait for Nisekoi to finish, I have to say it's really good. In fact, It keeps getting better and better. Some episodes was a bit boring, especially at the start, but dang this is good now.

Do you have some anime recommendations?

Is it only me, or does big parts of this OP for Soul Eater Not! sound like the first Nisekoi OP by ClariS? XD

Happy Easter :)

Hey, how are you doing? Not many days till you go home now?
Sorry for the late reply. I was with my class in Amsterdam, without internet most of the time lol.

Yeah, I like D-Frag for its hilarious comedic parts. I really wonder how Golden Time will end. Just a few more weeks. I've seen a bit of K-On!, but I didn't find it that entertaining so I never watched the whole thing.

Rosario to Vampire...Isn't that one of the shows with a ridiculous amount of ecchi and fan service? Or is that only the anime perhaps?

hahaha, no problem mate!^_~
Yeah, I think the ending of Clannad After Story was near perfect. I'm still looking for something with as much"FEELS" as this series, but I concluded with that it doesn't exist...yet. I wonder what the future brings:)
