:: C.C.O. Official Newsletter:: Hello everyone! How are you doing? This is C.C.O. talking 8D
Some of you are still active in the club but to those who are not, it might seem a long time since our last announcement.
Although this is surely the first time we send you a big newsletter since the mass messages have been taken off from MAL a couple of years ago.
You might probably know this already but we just wanted to be sure to inform you that our club is still alive :D
Actually, it never went inactive in the past years and we are proud to say that we are older than two years (half way to the third actually!) and we'd like you to be active again in the club, so feel free to pass by anytime if you still have interests and fun in claiming ;D
That said, let's just pass to the curious stuff:
• We have a new main layout made by ahin, with each direct link to related claim topics and claimed list! You can visit the club to take a look!
• The current newsletter is just an occasional one that is sent to all 1000+ members of our club.. Although, we are willing to start sending regular newsletters to members that would like to receive them, so if you'd like to receive more informations just sign up here!
• Also, you can find a summary with useful links at the Claim Menu Navigation topic! We've made this to have more order and un-stick many claimed lists the way to leave the club some breathe. Check it out, maybe you might even find some claim who is new to your eyes ^^
• Little memo for everyone, since more than a year now, we've introduced the Badge System, if you want a banner to be made by Staff you need to be registered in the topic! Also you can find out in the Badge Storage if you've already requested it because there's a list of every member and the link to their already made badge, as well you can see if your post may need to be fixed someway!
• Destiny Topic finally reopened after a break and now it's having a new theme! Come to claim if you still didn't have a chance to! It'll probably stay opened until May 10th.
• A recent new claim topic opened: Tribute Reload, it gives the opportunity to everyone who missed a previous tribute in the regular voices topic to claim a role of a Seiyuu they like as well as to claim a different role of a Seiyuu you previously liked to tribute!
• The Category topic is still weekly as always: This week's category is Creatures!
• C.C.O. recently hired a few new persons but we are always looking for anyone that would like to help! Here is the recruit topic if you'd like to volounteer!
• Last, but not least, we are currently having this special game topic who needs anyone to register first, in order to get a gift later ;D
Okay, sorry for the long newsletter but it's impossible to say everything of the last two years in just a few rows! And many things have yet to come!

As we enter into one of the busiest times of the year, we here at the Recommendation Club would like to extend our wishes for each and every one of you to have a wonderful holiday season!
Since the September newsletter, our club has gained many new members, and seen the return of old ones. We would like to keep the momentum going, and with our member list now at 3,111, that should be no problem at all! ^_^.
We would like all of our members, old and new, to help keep this an active, and fun club, a place to Chat and to seek out recommendations in our General anime and General Manga thread as well as the specific anime genre threads, such as Drama and Romance and Sci-fi and many others as well.
It’s a great place to make new friends, or renew past friendships, and we urge all of our members to drop by, and post in the various threads and comment section, as well as share you expertise with other members.
With the fall season upon us, the club has not been as active recently with our members being busy with work, school, and the other things life throws our way, but we here at the Recommendation Club want to let all of our members know that we haven't gone anywhere! We welcome you all to drop by, and say hello to old friends, or make new ones. We have a large member-list, and we would like to see all of you joining in, and sharing, your anime and manga knowledge with the club!
Loads of new members join all the time, either wanting recommendations, or eager to share their expertise with others, so don't be shy, and join right in! Like to chat? Well we have a thread just for that. New to our club or like to greet others? Check out our Intro thread. Looking for a new anime to watch or manga to read? Head on over to our General Recommendation Thread. Don't see what you want to know? Please feel free to make new threads to get your burning questions asked, or just join in with the others in the comments section!
We are currently seeking help with our member cards, so if you feel like lending a hand in this area you are more than welcome!

This is our first newsletter and if you are receiving it, is b'cuz we are dedicating it to all our first claimers or the ones that have been anyway active!
We tried to remember every particular active claimer which to send this message to, we highly hope we didn't forget anyone >.<!
Well, first of all, you may know this already or maybe not -anyway-, we wanted to inform you guys that C.C.O. is still active!
It never stopped being active actually.
Since the mass messages were taken out at the start of june, we didn't have many ways to contact you , then a huge lag affected mal from this summer until now. Finally it has been fixed, at least for now so we decided to start to send a "mass-message"-comment in the new way too ;P
Are you guys still interested in claiming? 'Cuz our club never stopped releasing brand new claim topics and categories! If you are still in the mood for claiming, remember that you are always welcome in C.C.O.!
So, Basically, Memo: (Please read <3)
~ Monthly Characters Obsessions: you can claim 4 different characters every month
~ Monthly Couples Obsessions: you can claim 2 different couples every month
~ Definition Characters: you can definite up to 4 characters every month, for each of the 4 choices (Love, Friend, Family, Evil)
~ Category Characters Obsessions: every week starts a new category on Monday and you can claim up to 2 characters per category (per week)
What's new:
~ Rewrite a character's Destiny: each month a different theme, you can claim up to 2 characters per every theme
~ Special Category.5 (dot five): time-limit claim, without a particular regularity, with very special limited categories, additional to normal Category topic, you can claim 1 character (or 2 if you get the extra bonus)
~ Character's Voices: you can claim your voice obsessions, 2 characters' voices per month, allowed also are characters from videogames
~ Seiyuu Tribute: the 15th of every month opens a tribute to two famous Voice Actors and you can claim 1 of their roles per each Seiyuu
~ Rent/Own an Host/Hostess: you can finally have your own temporary or eternal host/hostess! 2 claims per month
~ Quote Obsessions: you can claim up to 2 quotes from Characters per month.
~ Describe Yourself: you can claim a male or female character per month, stating what you share as personality with him/her
~ Associate a MAL Friend to a Character: you can claim X character being similar to your MAL Friend for "that" thing, 1 claim per month
Other New Stuff: since september 2010 we started rules that anyone who wants a banner made by staff, needs to have a badge, you can apply for it in this topic.
If you already requested the badge you can find it in the Badge Storage.
Plus don't forget the special Event Time-Limit Topics - Currently there's noone, but who knows when they might open!
As for claims, we made a special Menu Archive, with direct link of every topic, so if you are interested in any of them check out this topic.

Cards: If you were waiting for any card remember to check this topic, every card topic has its own direct link to its storage, then you'll just need to find your name with ctrl+f command.
Right now are still opened the special event cards: Valentine's Day Edition, but they will soon close, so hurry up!

Our club is almost one year old and we'll be most likely celebrating it with lots of specials and contests, so you might wanna check out the club at least once every few days as something new might appear in the horizon. :D
We noticed that while the member count keeps growing by day, we aren't exactly as active as we should be. It would be nice to see more and more people chatting in the comments or in the chat thread. I'd like to mention that a chat thread in our club gets closed after a comment or so is made on page 50. I'd like to get this one closed so we can start one anew in our next club year. Thanks in advance.
I'd also be glad if you introduced yourself in our special threads or warmly welcome our new members that have posted there. Also, if you have any trouble deciding what anime you want to watch or if you want to help others, take a look at the recommendation thread and post there.
If anyone is willing to make member cards, just post the templates in this thread or pm them to me. If you have made some other kind of graphic for the club you can post it in the comments or, again, pm it to me.
