The thing I loved most about your Rail Wars review was the part that said, "Absolutely marvelous." I don't know why that one little line made me laugh so much.
I'm forcing myself to watch it because I never drop an anime.
I noticed someone else in your comments mentioned you having a brief Glasslip review, but it seems it was removed. Would you mind sharing it with me? I'd love to hear it.
actually right after reviewing Death Note, all 40 of my reviews got at least 5 thumbs down in the space of 1 hour. Fanboys on this site are very silly. I am sorry if my review of Hotaru no Haka offended. What country are you from by the way?
I was the one that did the Grave of the Firefly review. I saw your comment on Homicidal's page. I have nothing against your brother and I am sure he wrote a great review. I simply have a different opinion, largely because I am viewing it from a political lens. Simply as a movie it is amazing! However, with Japan's long history of distorting WW2, I don't think it gives a balanced picture of WW2. German movies and books like The Tin Drum, Das Boot, and the German movie Stalingrad from the 1990s all show the suffering of innocent Germans while still showing the full picture of the war and that there was a reason why foreign countries were attacking them. I just wish that Japan would face its history the way Germany has. Of course, the US has yet to apologize for genocide in the Phillopines, backing Pakistan's genocide in Bengladesh, Setting up and backing the Khmer Rouge, and countless other of our crimes. So Japan isn't alone in the whole nationalism and revisionism thing. China also banned all information on the 30 million killed by the Great Leap Forward. Any books, shows, or movies about the subject are banned and internet sites are blocked!
