Greetings

INTRO
I watch any anime series, but my personal preference are perhaps a mix of: slice-of-life, fantasy, comedy, and a little dose of mystery/thriller. I am also a mecha-fan, and prefers the 'real-robot' type. Though ironically, my personality matches the 'super-robot' type more, if you know what I mean. XD

I generally value the cast of characters to be of top-most priority. Story/plot is secondary. Good animation, music and voice-acting are a plus to me, but not as necessary.
Edited: I revised my anime list ratings, giving almost all my watched shows a much harsher scoring.

SEIYUU
On a side note, I am a 'small' fan of Mizuki Nana. I like and admire her more as a singer than as a seiyuu, though she is good in both areas nevertheless.
Hopefully there is a chance for me to catch her live-concert performance in the future. Maybe I will plan a trip just for that in a few years time...

I disliked Junpei's for one reason only: when he says Yuka-tan. MAN, that was just sick... :S All the best in you army career, man. 2 years' a really short time. Learn to enjoy it, esp your time in BMT. It's likely to be the best time of your army life. If you are aiming for OCS/SISPEC, go garang all the way. HalberdierRetsel | 06-03-08, 7:08 PM I'm hoping I get the chance to play Persona 4 in Jap voice acting. Take a look at that cast! Back to Persona 3, I realised I've been dying too much for my own good. A lot of normal monsters own me really quickly the moment I missed the first strike. Relying on the police isn't giving me very good weapons at all., and I can't seem to ever sneak up on those gold hands to get the necessary equipment to merge (Only successful twice before). I began reading Mirai Nikki because it seemed like a nice mix of Higurashi/Jigoku Shoujo/Death Note, from the background information, so it seemed pretty interesing. I've read only till the 4th died, though, so I'm still quite far off (And only started reading because of the unlimited headache Persona gave me :P ) Reply - Anime - Manga

It seems rather difficult to get the social links for some of them (The monk at the club, for one). Looks like I wasted too much time in the early stages of the game. Also, I can't really get the system of merging the personas well, I'm afraid. The girls, well, seems rather odd that there is only a choice of Yuko, the team manager, and Chihiro, the treasurer of the Student Council. Are there anymore, or is that it? I tend to skip a lot of side quests I deem unimportant, including getting the bests weapons in most of the games, since it wasn't necessary to gain them to win the game. That said, the reason I enjoy Suikoden so much is mainly due to the fact that a hardcore gamer gets to enjoy just about the same deal as a non-hardcore one like myself, seeing 108 characters are quite easy to get, and there's no ultimate weapon, or any hidden bosses. Anyway, I'll go look for it over the weekend. Hopefully it ain't sold out yet. XD Though Al looks like Harry Potter when he is younger, I liked the fact that there is such an innocent BGR between them, though it is mostly one-sided. Yeah, I guess Druaga is somewhat rojak-y. HalberdierRetsel | 05-15-08, 7:32 PM No problem man. It's not THAT important to reply a message. :P Wow, 90+ hours? I'm too used to playing short RPGs along the Final Fantasy/Tales/Suikoden line. Especially Suikoden (Completed the first game in 12 hours WITHOUT rushing through anything, just by playing normally). Frankly, 90+ hours would probably bored me to tears, sadly, if the story isn't captivating to the very end. BUT, I am on my break period now, so I guess no harm wasting my life away... XD Aika's true presense wasn't felt till near the end of Natural (er, dunno where that is in the manga, but it's around the time she cut her hair). Before that, she was just one-half of the comedy duo, with Akari as the leading star. Similarily, Alice was pretty much just the annoying girl genius accompanying the duo, until late in the story (At where origianation is), where she was given far more into the story. I like all 3 of the main characters, more so than the senior trio anyway. Alicia wasn't really as angelic as the story made her to be, and the anime removed her "drunkardness" altogether. Athena was the most entertaining of the 3, but even she's pretty boring, to be honest. Let's not even get to Akira... Have you played Druaga before? I haven't really, but I did try a homage to the game in Tales of Destiny before. I found it really entertaining. Yet, the anime really turned it into a meaningless whatyoumightcallit. Though the humour has improved since they entered the tower IMO. Blassreiter, on the other hand, wasted quite a number of episodes on Gerd. From the first 5 epis, I would have easily mistaken him for the main character, and they went to kill him off. So, then what was the first 5 episodes for again? Focusing on a character not even lasting half the series? I call that a waste of time! Reply - Anime - Manga

Aika has long been my favourite Aria character. It's quite vexing to know that she is one of the least popular undines.(We all know Akira is the least popular, for sure. :) ) She's cute, entertaining, and above all, she is the most "normal" person on that lineup of characters.
