I'm Portuguese, and I don't know anyone but me who really enjoys anime (at least not the same genres).
For me to enjoy anime it has to match at least one of two conditions: either it makes me laugh, or makes me think.
I'm not really into romance. At least not "superficial" romance (like Onegai Teacher).
I'm REALLY NOT into fantasy or magic related anime.
I hope I can find people who share my tastes online, since I can't in real life.

On a lighter note:
Feel free to point out any grammatical or ortographic mistake I make. I'm an English student, so I would really appreciate it if you did so.
Also, although on my anime list there are no rewatch count numbers, I assure you I always rewatch at least parts of series. I don't have a rewatch count because I just can't give it a strict number. I sometimes rewatch a few particular episodes, sometimes a full series, and whatever I do in terms of rewatching, I never keep track of it.
Btw, my "dropped" section contains some anime which could be considered "completed". That's because in most cases, I do watch the whole thing, even though I lost any hope of enjoyment after the first few eps. I only watch them to make sure that I know what I'm talking about when I say it sucks big time.
A bad score in a "completed" anime has a different meaning, considering I did enjoy most of the series, but found it lacking in some way.
Don't know if I'm too late, but skip Death Note from episode 25 onwards - you will never regret it! Don't even bother watching it just so you can say it sucks, it's not worth it.
I'm guessing you're only online to watch Geass, huh? I have to admit, I like season two better than the first one. Even so, it would be better without all the fan-service, and it somewhat feels like the series is repeating itself. :/ It's obvious that Code Geass will end with this season.
Wait, what? They're making what seems like a "recap", even though it was supposed to be a movie adaption of TTGL. It comes out in cinemas September this year. There's two movies, by the way, I just mentioned the first movie.
There's also been a rumor saying that Gainax wants to release Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0 in December, since they don't want TTGL the movie to compete with Eva 2.0. Not certain, though, just read it at some random forum. Would make sense, but I'm somewhat angry;
1. I haven't seen TTGL yet
2. TTGL the movie seems like a recap from what I've heard.
3. I want Asuka, Evangelion was always a bit boring with just Rei and Shinji as the pilots.
