General breakdown of how I rate Anime:
1) + Entertainment Value & Ability to Create Emotional Attachment
2) + Story/Plot
3) + Art/Character Depth
4) - Continuity/Plot Holes (Not very strict/harsh)
5) +/- Misc
You won't find anything less than a six, because who in the right mind would go through an entire Anime if it was a five or below?! (At least, based on my rating system.)

Anime Afterlife Banner Contest UPDATE:
Hey contestants! :) Hope you're all doing great! :)
Voting for the contest was going to began today but we have only received 18 out of 27 banners :( and we have a few contestants requesting more time so we will increase the deadline to this Friday(August 24) so everyone can get a chance to submit their beautiful banner!
-If you have already submitted a banner then you're all set but you can still update your banner if you wish before voting begins.
-If you will not be participating in the contest anymore, please let us know, it would help us a bunch!

not trolling, FF8 is the most plothole filled game, with incoherent writing, pathetically developed characters as well as generic, its a easily the worst FF of them all including X-2
FFVII on the other hand has one of the best first halfs in the series but the 2nd half crumbles under its own weight, they ruin clouds character and make him nothing more than some dude insecure about his creation(look at luke fon fabre from tales of the abyss to see how to do this plotline RIGHT)
The villain goes from being a personal antagonist and diabolical monster toa guy that sits in a cave while every other minor villain does all the work, the cast is good aside from cloud but witht he exception of tifa and cid due to the way the games party system is designed every single character is just there, they have no effect on the plot in any way shape or form.
7 i can see why people like it but FF8 your outright wrong for liking, no matter what way you look at it that game is on cod levels of writing prowess if not a little worse. The only reason people love that game is cause of blind nostalgia

Hey :)
I’m from Anime Afterlife, regarding all the participants of May’s ‘Action’ Banner Contest. I just wanted to give you a reminder of the deadlines & extra information. Deadline for submitting your banner will be May 15th which is next Tuesday. Hopefully, we’ll have everyone submit on time but we might extend the deadline if needed. Voting is scheduled for May 16th.
Some extra info:
-Remember to NOT put your name on the banner since the voting will be done anonymously.
-Adding a motto to the banner always makes the banner more appealing.
-You don’t need to add ‘Anime Afterlife’ because this isn’t an affiliation banner but just a GFX’s banner.
If you have any other questions regarding the contest, just shoot me a comment. If there are any changes in deadlines, I will notify all the participants.
