You should really give Darker than Black another try though, just now in episode 4 there are people burning alive and people getting their stuff chopped off just like in Elfen Lied (although that's now why I'm liking this anime, cuz I don't even like gore that much) (didn't like Elfen Lied THAT much eiter)
