Here goes my attempt to fill my profile with stuff about me. D:

Likes: Anime/Manga (no, really?), skiing, candy, Music, Movy Nites and hanging out with mah buddies.
Dislikes: Tomatoes, Pineapples, people who flame other people just because they like a specific anime, spiders and lots of other stuff.
Anime/Manga-wise
I've watched anime and read manga for who knows how long. I usually go for the ones which synopsis interest me. My first manga was Dragon Ball, and my first anime was One Piece. If an anime or manga makes me unleash a primal roar (example: TTGL) or cry (example: Elfen Lied) it's an instant 10/10.
Note: It's not easy to make me cry.
What I like in anime
A good story (the most important thing for me (example [Good Story]: Death Note), Enjoyment (well, it's pretty obvious, isn't it? If I'm not enjoying the anime it's a bad sign. (example [Super Enjoyable]: TTGL once again), Animation (if it looks awful, I might have to drop it while great animation makes me enjoy it more (example [Good Animation]: ef- a tale of memories), Sound (if the BGM and VA's are awful it will result in me dropping that specific anime while superb VA's also makes enjoyment better (example [A series with good VA's and BGM]: Gintama (Kugimiya Ria + Tomokazu Sugita in the same series equals win), Characters (can't destroy a series for me, but he/she will probably bring the enjoyment down badly, or he/she will bring the enjoyment up greatly) and also the way it makes me feel (like I explained shortly above).
What I Dislike In Anime
Annoying characters that can't do anything themselves (examples: Furukawa Nagisa from Clannad and Tsukimiya Ayu from Kanon. I hate them so much!), when a show ends up like a horrifying train wreck, despite having potential (example: School Days) and finally: Makoto from School Days
I am so glad he died in the end :D
I'm sure there's more, but whatever (I'm lazy).
Genres
I usually watch Shounen, but I consider myself open-minded so I'll watch everything, from drama to adventure to slice-of-life, as long as it interests me. But, I will definitely not watch any shounen-ai or Yaoi (that's where I draw the line).
Music and Me
I'm not really bound by genres or anything like that, I just listen to what I like and that's it, whether it is Maximum the Hormone or Paramore. If people dislike what I listen to, so what? I don't care.
Moving on, my favorite bands are as following (in no specific order): Staind, Sum 41, System of a Down, Taproot, Bullet for my Valentine, Breaking Benjamin, Zebrahead, Disturbed and Mudvayne.

Tomokazu Sugita
One of the best seiyuus ever imo. There is no one out there with a better sarcastic voice than Sugita. He is therefore win in harem and comedy animes, although he can do action, too. | Some of his roles: Kyon [The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi], Sakata Gintoki [Gintama] and Tsuchimi Rin [Shuffle!]
Hirano Aya
I fell in love with her voice as Suzumiya Harhui, and she has done great in som other roles as well. | Some of her roles: Suzumiya Haruhi [The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi], Amane Misa [Death Note] and Anezaki Mamori [Eyeshield 21]
Takehito Koyasu
Awesome seiyuu. His voice is the definition of cool. | Some of his roles: Nougami Neuro [Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro], Keith Anyan [Terra e...] and Luck Gandor [Baccano!]
Kugimiya Rie
The ultimate Tsundere-voice! This is one awesome seiyuu~! | Some of her roles: Shana [Shakugan no Shana], Kagura [Gintama] and Mimi [Mnemosyne]
Yukino Satsuki
Another awesome seiyuu. She is also a very good Tsundere-seiyuu. | Some of her roles: Kaname Chidori [Full Metal Panic!], Sonosaki Mion/Shion [Higurashi no Naku Koro ni] and Milly Thompson [Trigun]

This is wrong. Actually it's a short story, involving some fail and lulz.

yo, i have to say 'ef - a tale of memories' was absolutely brilliant. from the first ep to the last it was utterly captivating. after seeing it on your favourite anime list i thought id give it a shot and i was not disappointed. an easy 9 with some to spare. thank you very much for the inadvertant reccommendation :D
