I have completed gits finally.. It was an epic journey.. It was intense, deep and beautiful.. And also touching.. There's not many seinen out there as grand as this.. The only one that comes to mind is monster.. But monster and gits are fundamentally different and their plot is of totally different kind.. The season two is the better one.. There's some episodic episodes not connected to the main story in season 1.. But they were necessary for character introductions.... The season two felt like a concrete series and the story is amazing too..

I haven't seen the film as of yet.. Will watch someday..

I'm the same, trust me. I stay away from all horror but the only type of horror that actually scares me is supernatural stuff. A serial killer type with a lot of gore is unimpressive and not even scary. I should know by know that I prefer happy stuff. :P But I'm not opposed to anything otherwise.

TG is forced horror and isanity on the path of the MC. The manga isn't much better other than nothing is censored.

Darker than black's main attraction for me is the MC, who has lightning powers; nothing more. Interesting concept but I lose interest at times. S2 is not that good because of the change in personality of the MC. I really don't know what the name relates to but hey, Bleach. >_>

I'm watching out the 2nd season of darker than black, one of those series that I had just picking up space on my HD. I have the 2nd season of K-on to watch but I'll watch Shirobako after darker than black. I finished Nana manga and watched out GITS Solid State society recently.

Horror? I was going to read this manga called Uzumaki. I'm not good with horror but I watch/read it from time to time. I'm easily spooked when watching/reading stuff like than but it doesn't scare me for stuff irl. This manga called fuan no tane was this urban legend thing and a few of those little stories were a bit scary, to me anyway. Hey, even when reading Natsume, some of the youkai were scary the 1st time I saw some of them. >_<

I just really need to rethink but I'l leave it as it is for now. At tis point, looking at my list hasn't really inspired me to add anything beyond those 2. Only maybe Kino no Tabi. Even looking through those SoL I completed doesn't really give me anything I want to add atm.

And thanks for understanding about FMAB. :P Do you know there's actual people who would get mad just because I removed it? Fanboys. >_> Thankfully, I don't chat with people like that. Though, I'm sure people will notice soon...

I have a few anime I want to watch before I actually change it up. Stuff like LoGH. See, people have been sort of been constantly asking me to watch it and hyping it. It's stuff like that that turns me off from series; whether they're actually good or bad.

I just removed S;G btw. XD It's one of those 1st time anime for me but that doesn't make it everlasting.

It's possible I may just put all the Arias. I think my faves are shows I can watch over and over again. FMAB kinda doesn't fall into that category. It's great but you know... I read the manga as well so that's enough. I watch, I read, I appreciated but it's not something I can go back to at any given time.

I know for sure Aria and Usagi drop will remain. My taste in anime will not change again as I've seen a bit of everything now. When all the anime that was easily accessible to me were just action and gore, stuff like F/Z and anime along those lines, were my faves. When I came across SoL, I realized there's a lot more than big fight scenes and superpowers.
Zetto92 Apr 9, 2015 6:55 PM
Art and animation is equally important, still, I don't judge any series on those two but I appreciate it. Since I read a lot of manga, characters and their development, not story development, is what I really look at.

No, I have a lot of work; exams are soon. May 4th will be my last exam so until then, I'll be busy.

I should make this clear: I hardly update faves. It was a big deal when I updated my manga faves recently and quite a lot of people noticed. Stalkers much? XD Steins;gate is not really among my faves anymore. It's good but not an actual fave. When I 1st joined MAL, FMAB and S;G was the 1st I added but at least S;g will be removed soon. My faves does not reflect what I consider to be top class anime; with the exception of Aria (Top fave and masterpiece in SoL).

I think I should edit it soon as people have been asking me my thoughts as I have it as a fave. What I do think? Another milked series. Doesn't' need it. I already know about the new characters they're going to introduce as well since I read some of the side LNs. Doesn't mean I won't watch it, it's just another milked series like madoka.

Watch kotonoha in HD. You don't even need to pay much attention to the story. XD It's just pretty but not much else.

Group presentation is finally OVER! ^_^

After spending this entire weekend badgering people to help, the entire thing went well. People read up their work and everyone was able to answer their individual questions. I really don't like to see people struggling to answer when put on the spot; I feel sorry for them since they're being marked.

Apparently, the rest of the class thought that the panel would mess us up for doing an unusual topic but when we presented, the main lecturer and the rest of the panel was very interested. Proved the rest of the class wrong with it as well. XD

Thank God it's over.

Yeah, I'm actually looking forward to it as well since I heard that it would just be an OVA. The preview was beautiful and I was so happy to see Alicia and the others back again. ^_^

I watched Trava, the 4 part little miniseries that it a prequel to redline but I wasn't to0 interested in watching it although I downloaded it already. I know exactly what it's about and I know the art and animation is impressive but that's not enough to get me to watch it right now.

Check this out and tell me about visually impressive after. XD

Story isn't much though.

Yeah gits is an awesome anime.. And Natsume is awesome too..

Nanatsu no taizai is okay as a fun read.. Not too good.. If you have got time and you are feeling like starting something new and not too deep then this can be considered as an option.. Like I said earlier it's like Fairy tail but I think it has a better plot.. But still it is average... It's about seven mercenary knights coined as the villain.. The art's not too shabby.. And the characters are well sort of okay...
ARUNABHA2702 Apr 4, 2015 11:40 AM
Yes Gits is kinda like Psycho pass.. But there's a lot more emphasis on the plans and how they are carried out.. I am now at episode 20 of season 1.. So far so good.. Nothing ground breaking happened yet.. But it has a really serious atmosphere and a lot of emphasis is done on describing the characters... I would say gits resemble more to Cowboy Bebop than to PP.. Not because they are both episodic but the episodes feel similar too.. All the characters are hardcore like bebop.. They show very little emotions.. But you can still feel it.. Just like with Bebop.. But the setup is more serious and intense.. And there's no comedy.. Though there's no eccentric character like Spike or Faye.. All the characters are extremely methodical and gives off a vibe of professionalism.. I am liking it.. I am liking the feeling of the show..

Redline.. I will be sure to note that down.. And Natsume is awesome.. I would say I liked all of it's episodes.. Is Natori introduced yet?? I actually watched Natsume Yuujinchoshi first as it was in the recommendation of Mushishi.. But then realized it was the fourth season... After that I watched from the beginning.. It is awesome..

On the side note, today I read Nanatsu ni taizai on a whim.. Well it was kinda like Fairy tail.. But an okay read..
Zetto92 Apr 2, 2015 7:43 PM
Well, too bad I really can't bail; nothing would have been done today. The presentation was okay but all they did was read off the slides. When it came to the questions at the end, it was all left to my friend and I; they made no attempt to even answer. Luckily, the lecturer called my friend and I to speak after and she's aware that the rest of the group isn't pulling their weight. I'm thankful for that at least; she's aware of the ones who are actually working. It's next week's presentation that will be graded.

Any particular reason you chose the original to rewatch?
ARUNABHA2702 Apr 2, 2015 9:01 AM
Yes the school's going as it is.. The classes are super boring.. Now I am reading the nana manga and watching Ghost in the Shell Stand alone complex.. It is good and super serious.. I have so far watched 3 episodes.. I am taking it slow since I am kinda busy with school work..

I really like Natsume series... Those narrations are really good in Natsume's voice.. Though they are kinda same thing repeated in each episode.. But they never sound boring in Natsume's voice..

Well, I have 2 patient care plans that are supposed to be done as a group. It's something that was supposed to be in the process of finishing up soon but no matter what myself and another girl in our group does, we can't get the others to cooperate. They keep insisting that the project is pointless and claim that they're using their time to study. I know for a fact that they not doing anything. There's 8 people in the group and only 2 are doing anything, and by anything, I mean everything; no exaggeration.

Now, after so long, they came yesterday and want to change the entire topic of our 2nd case, the one to be marked. It's the one my partner from work and I have been working on for weeks. They're just looking for something easy to do. So we gave them a chance but they never provided info on the case they claimed they could write up easily. We couldn't take that nonsense, so with the advice of the lecturer, we were told to keep the original case.

I'm currently redoing the entire 1st case that has to be presented tomorrow and I still can't get anything or hear anything from the other 6. I also have exams just like them to study for, finals and all. Still, I'm doing my best to make the group look good, whether they care or not.

Yeah, I guess it's cute. They just seem really squishy. XD

It's just funny. It's not so special but it's always nice to light at something lighthearted like k-on. The series is one of those I guess you have to see for yourself, just because it's so popular. Another one people make like or not. Every series is worth a watch since you never know if you may come to like it or not.
Zetto92 Apr 1, 2015 7:02 PM
Super busy. That's the problem with having lazy people in your group. >_<

Glad you're liking Natsume. I'm watching darker than black S2 and some random gintama arcs. I finished the 1st season of K-on. It was just silly and funny, nothing too amazing. I'll start Shirobako soon.
ARUNABHA2702 Mar 30, 2015 5:38 AM
I absolutely love Natsume series.. It's like a crossover of Mushishi and Aria... Do watch it.. I am pretty sure you too will like it.. I like Natsume's voice.. It's warm and tender, just like summer...

School is going okay.. Had classes today...
Zetto92 Mar 28, 2015 7:27 PM
Magi is really colourful so that might be a little misleading to some. There's a lot about oppression and slavery in the beginning.

Ping pong is one of those shows that I just appreciated overall. I didn't have a favourite really but Peco would be my favourite because of what he represented to the others and how he impacted each of them; not much a fan of his personality per se.
