nope, as much as i havent seen trigun, hellsing ultimate, vampire hunter D, TTGL, azumanga daioh, berserk,... XD... Ill probably (or must) finish most of them this summer.

Believe it or not, I am finding it extremely hilarious so far. I don't know if it's suitable to present to the club, but I think I'll enjoy this show.
Plus, I don't really mind ecchi, but ecchi is not the reason I am liking it (I think it isn't).
But yes, if when I see the first episode of a show and just have to continue watching, it's usually a good sign for me.
(On another note, I watched Happiness! recently. Now THAT was crap, and it was obviously so from the first episode. No idea why I watched that shit.)
