Well it is pretty plain since I have like two things on there ~

I guess that basically what every family is like unless one of their parents is a chef :o That'd sound pretty nice but I'd probably end up being really spoiled lol. If I could get a job at all I'd be pretty happy since I don't want to stay home for most of the time during the summer.

That's probably true since I'm pretty aloof from what happens around me. Well then, that's 1 person you know not to trust when she's behind the wheel :O We were on a road trip once and my friend tried to make a turn and ended up stopping in front of a cop because he forgot to look the other way. We didn't get a ticket though so it was fine-ish.

I on the other hand, pretty much stay inside my bubble when it comes to people. But when I need to do something like set an example or whatever I usually do it first. I like helping people since I've got nothing else to do most of the time and I can't fall asleep unless I lay down.

Finish all of my projects and I'm finally free! Got a pretty good grade on all of them also. The job hunt is pretty fair, I'm just waiting to get a call for an interview. I really hate job searching also when I don't have my own phone. So I put my house phone and the way my brother answers it isn't pleasant either.

Also I'm sorry for the very late reply since it's nearly the end of the school year I'm a bit busy ~

I guess being hilariously perverted is that much of a bad thing in the long run. Do you download or stream the anime that you watch?

Yeah, I think you are right about that. But in reality, I think that it is possible to hate almost everything if you do it too much. Work and school are just things that are very easy for most people to hate since you're usually forced to go to/do them instead of doing something that is fun.

Counselling? I could become your very first patient one day. I can tell you all about my issues and other things. :P

Life on my own is really good. I wish that I would have moved out much earlier. Well, I have pretty much always cooked the kind of things that multiple people can eat, but no one in my family really ate the things that I would cook, so not uch has really changed for me.

Thats true. when u get to post education it splits off into so many path that its hard to choose.
Well obviously its gonna be hard to be a science teacher since science needs a very high avg to get in. I dont mind being another teacher either to free up some choices.

Ya i've been talking to ur bro a lot.
seems like hes on more than u ;p

It's fine ~ Everyone is busy with their own personal life and I understand :3 Um, as a sign of respect not the slightest bit, but replacing yeah/yes. Ya, I mean yes I do that quite often and rarely use the word yeah/yes lol.

The culture is pretty annoying when your mom only knows how to cook asian food x.x Her cooking isn't bad, but thats probably what every kid says, it's just that there isn't much of a variety. Yup... a lot of people don't really like chess either.

LOL um... if you use a math example that really doesn't get the point across to me :P But strategy games often need at least a second person and most of the time the person isn't as good or is way better than you.

Don't worry! I'm that person that cannot tell the similarity between families. You put two twins next to each other with different outfits and whatnot and it's going to take me a while to figure that they're twins lol.
Probably yeah, but when I saw his last name I sorta knew. He would get soo pissed whenever someone did that to him lol.

Not really, but I personally prefer not to eat bugs ~ I am a helpful person, but that's because it became a habit :P A world without people to help.. MY LIFE IS OVER D;
Probably a really bad joke lol ~

I'm doing pretty fine just doing lots of projects for school and applying to many places to see if I am able to get a job.
How about yourself? What have ya been up to?
The_Unholy_One Apr 17, 2012 6:17 PM
I'm really sorry about that. The fact your computer froze on my profile probably means that made it a little too big.
But yeah, I am very thankful for the job that I have. I mean, I do hate my job at times but since I just moved out on my own, I need this crappy non horrible job more than ever.
Do you have a certain job that you would really like to do?
LuckyMango Apr 17, 2012 4:07 PM
sorry i was pretty busy the past few days but i hope to be back again.

Thats good. A good environment is always the first step to success ;p. idk thats just some cheesy line my teacher said before.
Ya counsellors actually get paid more than highschool teachers. Like the 2 month summer break, they still get paid, so its actually a good job if you have a lot of patience.
Idk im Asian so my mom is pushing me.. probably a science teacher. but still got 1 year to decide ;p
I heard your brother is going to BCIT?

I hate that feeling where you think you did a good job at something, but then soon realize it's actually pretty bad. Something random, but in Viet I always say the word "ya" is how it sounds/pronounced in front of a sentence before talking to someone older. Mostly because it shows respect, but whenever I'm on the phone or something everyone around me thinks I'm mocking someone. Your uncle is probably somewhat used to talking to you, so he wouldn't be laughing, but maybe have a smirk :o

I'm still following my traditional culture of what a parent expects, mostly because I like to have knowledge :3 Nerdy me is interested more in strategy games then sports like every other relative I know. Social influence has a major impact on the next generation, which is possibly based on where you live.

Jealous of how you're already fluent in the language D; Three years of Spanish and I'm still having a hard time trying to make sentences and using the correct tense of a verb.

Certainly going to be interesting asking me to show you around ;P We'll just have to see how it goes when that happens ~
Being Viet for so long, I'm able to tell whos Viet just because they're a "tiny" bit different in appearance. I remember having a Mexican friend who looked completely Asian and on Chinese New Years (but lets call it Tet to make it a lot shorter) everyone who didn't know him would ask how his Tet went. He would just get so annoyed xD

Trust me there are a lot of foods you don't want to try, at least not if they're Viet. When my family went there to visit, they had ants covered in chocolate as a treat and I never realized it until a few months ago when my mom had told me. After that, I just didn't want chocolate anymore. When I was younger, I used wish my mother was born here, so she would stop asking me for help :3 But then sometime in middle school everyone would ask me for help with something and now I don't have much to do besides helping people.
FireHeart Apr 16, 2012 1:34 PM
Haha, well sadly...thats how things work these days ^^ I think that everyone should aim for that.
The_Unholy_One Apr 15, 2012 11:32 PM
Well, I haven't really been working all that long, but I have always been in a warehouse the whole time. I want the chance to fail/succeed/get bored at a office job before I make up my mind about office jobs.
I heard many horror stories about temporary jobs before I got my job. Thankfully, I am not living a horror story right now.
aznkayle Apr 15, 2012 11:22 PM
I sometimes feel like you're either really amused or humoring me :3 But I'll take it!

It sort of does suck the fact that the sentences are structured differently because when you give a literal translation it just sounds all awkward. I remember learning about "That, Those, and Those over there" in Spanish which is "Este, ese, and aquel" for males, Esta, esa, aquella" for females, and then "Esto, eso, and aquello" for the unknown. Learning all that just confused the hell out of the entire class.

I have an Australian friend who says we talk really really slow and couldn't stop giggling the first time we talked in skype. D: What is the stress on the Asian culture? I'm kinda oblivious or unaware because I grew up finding it normal :3

At my school if they speak in the language they teach, they try and use simple 2nd grade sentences. So it isn't really hard to put the small bits and pieces together.

Jealous of Vivi, I wanna meet you D; Kinda annoying having four really common last names because every now and then I get someone who looks like me and people wonder if we're related because of that and the fact we have the same last name. Are you going to try to find Vietnamese people with different last names now that you know that? :3 And yes both of my parents are full blown Vietnamese, so... I'm pretty uninteresting when it comes to my background.
The_Unholy_One Apr 15, 2012 12:22 AM
Well, that is one of the many unfortunate stereotypes that women face each day. But if given the option, I would rather have an office job instead of doing what I have to do at work each day. :P
I got my job through a temporary service.
FireHeart Apr 14, 2012 12:17 PM
Oh, its gonna take a while. 4 years and 1 bonus year for masters degree.
aznkayle Apr 14, 2012 12:38 AM
Most of us probably have at least once in our life. Nope! You can never have too much ~

Spanish is much like English, so it isn't so necessarily hard. Sentences are just structured a little differently. Like adjectives would go after the noun, really weird verb changes that depend on who you're speaking to, when you're referring to, what(this one is the obvious everything lol), and how you're speaking.

Nope! But I should've figured because that's what most people would say about a language they are learning about ;P Spanish just sounds like they talk reeaallly fast to me :3
I mostly just really like asian languages :3

But like.. sometimes in my Spanish class when the teacher asks me a question in Spanish, I would sometimes idiotically reply with an entirely different language. What's funny is whenever that happens everyone starts wondering what language I just replied in lol.
We, Vietnamese, are a bit of an odd ball because compared to other asian last names. It's either just one or two syllables and I think the majority of our last names are either: Huynh, Nguyen, Le, and Tran. Mostly Nguyen of course lol. I think its wonderful you have such a nice blend of backgrounds. I love most of foreign accents especially the British ones ;)

I definitely wouldn't laugh at you, there are several women that work with me when I have to load those large trucks. Women are more than capable of doing physical labor (Not that you said women can't do it). I agree with you on that.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
