HOMICIDE'S ILLEGAL AND DEATH IS THE PENALTY WHAT JUSTIFIES THE HOMICIDE WHEN HE DIES IN HIS OWN INIQUITY IT'S THE MASTER OF THE MANTIS, RAPTURE COMIN AT YOU
The manga was divided up into episodic arcs that were more or less hit and miss. Some were really damn good others were meh. I mean I really enjoyed the first couple of arcs where it showed a young boys struggle to survive during the destruction of Tokyo and when Violence Jack helped him and his friends out post apocalypse. Go Nagai was certainly a rather depraved man aka though. There's certainly something up when children's manga shock me more than the Berserk manga.
Violence Jack was a far far far far better manga, I mean it at least had interesting points to make where as the ovas were more or less random gore fest that missed the point and didn't really explain the story. I say it got a bit hit or miss but I really did enjoy the first couple of arcs.
I'm glad you enjoyed TTGL! And I guess Nia did clash with everything else, now that I think about it. She seemed so very off. Still, she helped Simon get out of his depression way back early on in the series.
I thought the show got better after episode 16. And I had already thought it was pretty amazing. Suddenly everything got a little more serious and realistic, and the show could even be said to have gone from a reconstruction anime to a deconstruction by that point.
Plus the events post-Lord Genome's death helped explain why he sent humanity underground. But I get what you're saying. Episode 15's ending felt like a legitimate ending and it didn't need anymore.
And yeah. Its a bit difficult to watch FMA after watching FMA:B. As you said, everything is just a little better. I should've watched FMA first, but I don't have good internet access, so watching anime on TV is easier for me and FMA:B started from episode 1 on television so I just watched it there. Still, FMA is still a great show and I do like it. The visuals are a little worse, sure, and the animation isn't as smooth, and the story moves a little slower, but all in all, I like what I've seen so far.
I was reading YouTube comments and someone said a new JonTron episode would be out 'in a week,' but two weeks passed and nothing happened. I've been doing the same thing, watching old Grumps episodes. Arin and Jon had so much chemistry. I have nothing against Danny, it's just that he isn't as funny. His laughs aren't even as contagious as Jon's.
I'm dreaming of the day Jon appears on Guest Grumps.
