I don't think it is entirely the voice actors fault, since the script changes are horrible to tone it down to "kid-friendly". 5Ds was supposed to be the mature Yugioh series, but apparently 4Kids didn't get that memo. Oh, I see. Idk, I guess I'm glad I've been watching it subbed bc I'd think it was horrible if I were watching the dub. And it's strange bc I've always watched dub Yugiohs.
Haha, yep. After next episode he doesn't duel until ep 29 I think.

hahah. I wouldn't know who Alex is by name, but I know who you mean bc I heard the guy's voice. He doesn't stick around so don't get used to him. :P And yeah, I saw how they messed it up. I didn't even see them explain the card effects very well with dialogue (prolly why they have the "robot explanations). The guard used Paralyze Chain and Poison Chains to combo against Yusei. Paralyze Chain inflicted 300 damage whenever a card is sent from the deck to the graveyard...which is basically the purpose of the Iron Chain cards. Poison Chain allowed the guard to skip his battle phase to force Yusei to remove cards from his deck equal to the total Level of Iron Chain monsters on the field (I heard in the dub they just had the guard say "And since my monster is a Level 10, you lose 10 cards!"). Idk if it was bc I wasn't really watching it fully, but I don't even remember hearing the guard summon Iron Chain Blaster (I think thats the name...the one that let him tribute a monster to inflict damage). They totally screwed that up. I also don't remember the panic they had in the original when Yusei played Nightmare Steel Cage...bc he was freaking out bc it would prevent him from attacking too and he was running out of cards. I thought the duel overall could have been better....I especially hated the "miracle draw" from the guard to miraculously draw Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy (or attempt to) Battlemania. And from watching it yesterday, I didn't understand why Yusei took Axe of Despair over United We Stand when he used Call of the Haunted to bring back Kickman. It would have gotten more ATK points bc Yusei had 2 monsters out. Oh well. Next Yusei escapes and the final duel with that guard (well, he does duel Jack later on, but he's possessed at the time).
Next eppy is the final duel against the security guard. The duel wasn't that bad, but who knows what the dub will do to it. I hope you know that those card explanations that interrupt the duel every 5 seconds are dub exclusive. They just explain the meanings of their own cards like they used to in dubs in the sub version. Well, if you do plan on starting to watch the subs, I recommend doing it at least for the tournament that'll start soon from where you are bc the dub will prolly ruin it and it was actually pretty good. ^^

I saw a bit of the 5Ds dub this morning. Wow. They edit so much of the dialogue. I remember when after Yusei played Nightmare Steel Cage, the prisoner was like "That's my card!" in the dub and then the other guy made fun of him..uhm, I don't remember that happening in the sub. And Iron Chain Dragon looked different in the dub than it did originally. You'd think that they would dub the think Yusei needed to ask for at the end (bc he was told to ask for milk), but he really was told to ask for milk in the sub too....ha. 4 more eppys until Aki ^_^ (for both sub and dub actually since she's most likely in ep 37)

Haha. I saw a little bit of R2 dubbed....like when Viletta is chasing Lelouch, but then I muted it to watch something else online since I've seen it already. And FMA is coming back when they finish airing Furi Kuri (aka FLCL). Furi Kuri only has 5 episodes left.
It is a series on its own (at least on here) so try any anime site. I watched 'em on Megavideo because nothing else had them. They are only like 5 minutes long a piece anyway.
Okay. I get it all now. I had given TRC an 8 bc I was confused on that, but it seems 9 worthy. I understood the Fye part, I just meant him becoming a vampire was so random. One last thing, though. What is this talk about Sakura's clone? Where I am, Kurogane keeps mentioning about how they wouldn't act this way if they were their old selves or something...or maybe it was Fye saying it....I think it was Fye, but anyway, Sakura has a clone too?

Before I go any deeper into the story, I need some help. To put it simply, wtf is going on right now? (referring to TRC) I am so lost right now that it isn't even funny. Okay, Syaoran or however you spell his name had some sort of spell on him involving his other half or something? And then they went to this new world and played chess out of no where? Fye is a vampire? Explainnnnnn pllzz. Basically everything about this clone stuff.

haha. You should watch the Parallel Works then since it's basically a soundtrack with alternative setting animations.
