That alone is already a fucking joke, like seriously if I want to bring a game over to a friend's house I got to pay for it again in full price? Seriously? What the actual the fuck? Microflop pls.
The only game I played for the 360 was Eternal Sonata and Tales of Vesperia, but they later got enhanced PS3 ports so really there's no point in getting the 360 versions anymore haha. But really, I was never a fan of the Xbox, but now all interest I would've had for this piece of shit Microflop calls a console is gone, and I doubt any actual mainstream JRPGs are on the Xbox anyways so this wouldn't even sell in Japan. PS4 is the way to go, future Tales, NISA and even Falcom games will definitely be on the far superior PS4. Unless PS4 also charges for used games, then it can go die like the Xbox One.
Also Windows 7 is THE BEST.
Dem sunglasses.
Still tho Snow was hilariously ugh.
Emo is unattractive to many because it's been played out.
I hate emo and teenage angst from characters anyways, always will, even when I follow and understand the narrative, it leads to some stupid overacting. If I see a JRPG character suddenly look up in the skies with the camera immediately zooming out just for him to scream out "WRYYYYY" I will mash the skip button.
On to Lightning, the outfit feels forced, like she’s trying too hard to be cool. The sunglasses were the final nail in the coffin — it’s just too cheesy, like gawd.
Anyways I was fine with just XIII, but the XIII-2 and whatever the hell this is uh is just.... rofl
I WILL get this game but only after the inevitable price drop.
VII HD remaster is their final trump card, IF SE ever runs out of ideas. Social gaming is just terrible. It's true, a game like this is an easy cash cow but really it's just a really really reeeeeally bad idea. Really would just want Versus/XV but ughh I don't even know anymore.....
Falcom ofc. Atlus ofc. NISA games!?!?!?
SO HAVE YOU PLAYED HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA!?!?!?
I doubt any JRPGs will go on the Xbox Shit anyways except that FF crap.
Also did you see the new Lightning Returns trailer?
It took them 3 tries, but Snow finally doesn't look like a homeless person now, instead now he looks like a typical brooding jrpg anti hero with a beard which is actually a downgrade.
Oh man, I know what it comes to college. Rather tired from taking a whole bunch of tests in various classes this week.
Anyway, .hack/sign was what got me into anime when I was a kid. Never was interested in Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing...but .hack was certainly something as a kid. Plus the OST is God-tier. Been a long, long time but I remember that it takes some patience to watch as it can be slow and boring at times and its a show that you have to pay attention to to get the full story. And because its slow it relies on character development in order to help tell the story. (Ask if you want more, but my memory is somewhat fuzzy)
But yes, .hack//SIGN is the first and best, as it actually has a story unlike the other ones. The other ones only really exist to expand the world that .hack takes place in and are just plain mediocre and not worth talking about they are so mediocre. :/
(Plus they don't even have the characters in Sign)
My Thoughts on Les Miserables: Shoujo Cosette if You're Interested:-
Alright so Les Miserables; Shoujo Cosette was a gem. It truly was. I'm sooooo glad that I was able to find it. The thing is it is so incredibly under watched that it's baffling. Personally I did not find anything wrong with the story (There were absolutely NO plot holes or questions that were left unanswered) or the characters (Everyone fulfilled their respective roles perfectly). The sound was sweet too. The animation was good since it was made in 2007.
The series is based on a famous 19th Century novel by Victor Hugo and it also has a movie adaptation to boot. I haven't watched either though. It mattered not for I thoroughly enjoyed the anime.
Plot Synopsis:-
Set in nineteenth century-era France, the series begins with Cosette, a 2 year old girl, traveling with her mother Fantine, who is trying to find a job and a place to live, but have always been shunned away due to few employers hiring single mothers. When her mother is promised with the prosperity of working in the big city, Cosette is separated from her in the hopes a caretaker named Thénardier will watch over her while her mother earns some money. Unfortunately, this was a trick and the caretaker is a corrupt man who makes Cosette his indentured servant, or more precisely: his slave. Then, the kind mayor - formerly a convict named Jean Valjean - of the town that Cosette makes her new home in, sees how winds of change are so detrimental for children and families, and decides to do something about it, but forces Cosette to go on the run to escape his returning, difficult past.
The above synopsis is just the tip of the iceberg. Don't look too much into it.
Now I'll give my thoughts on the show in a Review Format:-
Story:-
Rating: 10/10
The Story was most definitely the Strongest point of the show. The thing is that I knew next to nothing about the story which made it all the more fascinating. At first it just seemed like Cosette and Fantine going through terrible hardships just to survive but as the story progressed it offered sooooo much more.
Now, this story was arguably the most gripping story that I've ever watched (Apart from maybe Monster). This is largely due to the fact that one hardly ever knows as to what is going to happen next. It was hard to even predict as to what was going to happen within the next 5 minutes. There were so many twists and turns. It made me want to watch more and more. One could always expect the unexpected.
As for the themes of this series I'd say these were probably the most prevalent:-
Historical
Drama
Shoujo
Poverty
War/Revolution
Romance
Parenting
Family
Politics
Brotherhood/Friendship
Law and Order
Cruelty/Trickery/Crimes
Survival
Revenge
Most of you weren't expecting those I presume. I wasn't either. I really did not expect all that from this series which was a major positive. Then again I'm almost certain that it would have been just as good even if I had known about those themes.
As a whole it was a COMPLETE Story. It left absolutely NO plot holes or unanswered questions. It was as complete as complete can be. That was the best part. It answered so many questions in the final episode too. The thing is that it had a knack of doing the right thing at the right time. As such no flaw. Well Rounded story.
The Pacing was ideal too. It picked up the pace at the right time and slowed down when required too. The setting was superb. I personally love Historical settings. This was set in the 19th Century in France.
I won't really go into the details of all the happenings due to the fear of Spoilers.
All I can say is that it incorporated all the themes mentioned above.
Overall it always had me on the edge of my seat never knowing the next run of events. My immersion was unprecedented. Extremely engrossing and it just never lets go. The ending was flawless, perfect and fitting too.
One thing that I forgot to mention was that it had some REALLY sad moments and they were extremely touching. I teared up about 7 times.
Characters:-
Rating: 10/10
Alright so this does need some explaining.
First off due to the themes mentioned above, there are a wide array of characters.
This includes characters that are meant to be hated. For example the Thenardiers, those two are meant to be portrayed as wicked characters which results in them being hated. But all this just makes things all the more interesting.
Although none of them were GREAT, everyone i.e. the cast as a whole was of the highest order.
There was so much room for character development which was optimum because of the ideal length of the series.
As for the Most important characters, here's the list:-
Cosette
Jean Valjean
Marius Pontmercy
Gavroche
The Thenerdiers
Javert
Eponine
Fantine
Courfeyrac
Enjolras
Chou Chou (A Dog)- Brilliant one at that.
Okay so those were the Vital Characters. Those are the characters around which the story revolves.
Personally I found Eponine to be the most complex character, followed by Jean Valjean and Javert.
Eponine had conflicting feelings throughout the series and she was extremely difficult to figure out. I doubt that anyone can read as to what she was gonna do next.
Cosette was a sweet girl throughout and she grew from a cute and charming girl to a fine lady.
Fantine sacrificed everything for the sake of her daughter.
Gavroche was Fantastic. He was maybe my favorite character. He was so endearing although he was just a kid.
I will not go too much into the characters as it might spoil the fun. Find out for yourselves.
Just on a side note.......I loved Chou Chou. I want a dog like that.
Overall the MOST IMPORTANT thing is that all the characters played their respective roles PERFECTLY.
Visuals:-
Rating: 8/10 (7.5 to be precise)
Alright since this was made in 2007, the visuals are pretty good and everything is pleasing. The only real drag was the look that Cosette had after a timeskip for a few episodes. I think she had that look for about 3-4 episodes. Her design was a bit off in those episodes but it was fixed soon enough. She looked beautiful after that. Everyone else looked just fine.
Nice and Eye Catching Backgrounds that suit the setting.
On a side note, the Thenardiers were meant to be UGLY.
Sound:-
Rating: 9/10
I absolutely loved the OP. The ending was fine too. There was a Lullaby sung by Cosette that I want to memorize. So sweet and touching. It makes me cry when played at the right time. The soundtracks were a perfect match for the mood and setting. Very few insert songs. There were more in the last part of the show though. Overall it was fitting and pleasing.
Enjoyment:-
Rating: 10/10
Enjoyment was absolute. It had my TOTAL attention throughout the duration of the show. I was never bored. Not even for a minute. Everything was built and set up Flawlessly. There wasn't a single wasted scene. Every scene had a meaning. JUST LIKE MONSTER IN THAT REGARD. The most pleasing part about it was that it was COMPLETE. No loose ends. Every event had a meaning and a role in the story. even if it felt unnecessary at first, the story always tended to touch back on the event thus giving that event some meaning. A scarf, a coin, a loaf of bread, etc. Even such trivial things played a role.
Overall:-
Rating: 10/10
Well I'll keep this short as every detail has been explained above. It was worth its weight in GOLD. A hidden gem waiting to be discovered. A story that was Complete, flawless and full of morals. Characters that fit right in and performed their parts Brilliantly. A plot that was so gripping and full of Twists and Turns.
Need I say more? One can only appreciate the beauty after giving it a shot. The length of the series was ideal and it did not waste a single moment and offered everything I expected and much much more.
Yeah but I would be lying if I said I didn't like big boobs but I like them just above average and not massive. This goes for anime and irl girls.
Well you may like it or you may not. And if it isn't your cup of tea then thats fine! Everyone likes different things and thats why so many different genres exist
It is a 2007 anime. I like it so far. Fantastic Story and I love the twists and turns. A 9/10 as of now. Very under watched. It's based off a famous 19th Century Novel. Definitely worth a watch.
Well I don't really like to read Shounen Manga. I don't get the same thrill like I do when I watch anime. I prefer Psychological, Drama, Romance, Slice of Life, Shoujo, etc when it comes to manga.
I did love the anime though. Hope they animate the third part soon.
I HAVE A LOVE AFFAIR WITH CHIHAYAFURU. I'M HAVING WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS. I WANT TO WATCH MORE OF IT. I WILL RE-WATCH IT.
Synopsis:-
Chihaya is a lighthearted tomboy, who's not especially good at anything in particular. Her dream has always been for her sister (an aspiring model) to become the number one beauty of Japan, or perhaps of the world. But then one day she meets someone who tells her that a dream is something that should concern only herself—and something she has to work hard for as well.
At the same time, Chihaya discovers a passion for the old Japanese game hyakunin isshu, also called "karuta".
Chihayafuru:-
First off, I LOVE this anime to bits.
The tag from my anime list:-
This Anime incorporated pure beauty and Emotion. Chihaya is Soooo Adorable. A little Romance would be good though. Looking forward to Season Two.
It really did know how to get the attention of the viewer and I was so engrossed while viewing it.
I loved Chihaya as a Character and her Fantastic Personality.
Anyone who dislikes this show is heartless in my opinion.
Actually everything about Chihayafuru is Beautiful.
ABSOLUTELY Stunning animation and art. Superb Character Designs. Exemplary Music and Sound.
I don't care much for Karuta though it does get good in awesome matches and holds a lot of meaning. The anime itself however lures you in and makes you pay attention to every single detail. I too LOVED Chihaya the moment she made her appearance. I'm willing to bet that she'll make your top 10 too. She's just too charming and adorable and BEAUTIFUL.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ANIME IS MAGNIFICENT.

EVERYTHING.............. Even Karuta.......ESPECIALLY IN SEASON 2.
IT IS TRULY A PHENOMENON OF THE HIGHEST ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved the voice acting as well. Superb cast to be honest. I laughed, cried, screamed in joy, I was tensed, etc.....I felt all sort of emotions.
10/10 for me. Definitely.
Simply put, I think that the story is nearly flawless. Every scene has relevance to the overall plot or characters, and the pacing is nice and steady. Sure, karuta itself isn’t all that interesting, but the story manages to present the competitions in such a way that the competitive spirit, teamwork, and friendship have more significance than the game itself. I REALLY GOT INTO KARUTA IN THE SECOND SEASON THOUGH. I also really liked how the game of karuta is really treated like a sport, with all the elements of competitive sport explored.
KARUTA:-
Competitive karuta is a one-on-one game, facilitated by a reciter (card reader) and a judge. All official matches use cards made by Oishi Tengudo.
Each player randomly selects 25 of the 50 torifuda cards that are also randomly selected from a total of 100, and places them face-up in three layers in his or her territory. A player's territory is the space in front of the player, 87 cm wide and separated from their opponent's cards by 3 cm.[1] Players are then given 15 minutes to memorize all the cards in place, and for the final two minutes they are allowed to practice their strike at the cards.
The game starts by the reciter reading an introductory poem that is not part of the 100 poems. This introductory reading allows players to familiarize themselves with the reciter’s voice and the reading rhythm. Following the introductory poem, the reciter reads one of the 100 yomifuda. 50 out of this 100 yomifuda are on the game as torifuda, and remaining 50 cards are also read as karafuda (ghost cards).
The first player to touch the corresponding torifuda "takes" the card and removes it from play. When a player takes a card from the opponent's territory, that player may transfer one of their own cards to their opponent. If both players touch the target card at the same time, it is taken by the player whose territory it is in.
The first player to get rid of all the cards in their territory wins.
Otetsuki (Faults, False touches)
Touching the wrong card in the same territory as the target card is not a penalty.[2] As a result, the players may toss away surrounding cards near the target card.
Touching the wrong card in the wrong territory results in a penalty. The opponent may then transfer a card from their territory to the faulting player's.
Double faults
If a player touches the wrong card in the opponent's territory and the opponent touches the correct card in the faulting player's territory, it is a double fault with a penalty of two cards.
When a player touches any card when a ghost card is read, they incur a penalty of two cards.
The order of the cards in a players territory may be rearranged at any time during the game. However, excessive rearrangement is considered poor sportsmanship.
OH! Best of Luck With your Exams. Give it your all and do your best.
