Action 5/10: I feel a bit let down here. I might be over reacting perhaps but I feel the action feels dumbed down here. I felt that the original tokyo ghoul action scenes were epic and impactful but here I feel that its a bit lackluster. So not too impressed in what I've seen so far. The action is okay but this is Tokyo Ghoul! I expect it to be more thrilling, gory and just as violent as the previous sequels.
Story 5/10: I didn't read the manga so I don't know what's going on. Everything is a bit of a mystery right now, the story

is yet to connect but its a bit messy.
Tone (Weird): The feel of Tokyo Ghoul RE is a bit weird. The new characters as much as I enjoy them, feel a bit out of place. For me Tokyo Ghoul has been a dark depressing anime of somewhat. But all of this light hearted comedy has come out. Feels like there's too much comedy and happiness in this sequel. Tokyo ghoul has always been a dark anime with pain and struggle. I don't feel that energy here.
These are just my personal opinions. Its still a good anime but right now I feel it's the worse than the previous 2 seasons

Story: It's alright. Nothing too special. The anime is a bit rushed so some things aren't really explained further. There are some questionable scenes. But overall nothing will really puzzle you. The ending is absolutely shambolic in my opinion. An lazy, distraught, terrible and useless ending to a great series which is why I'm rating this anime so lowly. Ending isn't clear and the manga won't help you find any comfort. This is one of those anime's with these half assed endings, where it's all left up to speculation.
Art: It's mediocre. No offense but comparing it to modern 2005+ animes, the art could be better.

The art isn't bad. But it's not good either.
Action: Well it's not for the faint hearted. Gore, nudity and all sorts of madness. As for an action anime it does excel. The whole anime is quite unique. It's just violent and unpredictable. Not anything quite like it. I do recommend you see this anime. Although the ending is poor, if you're looking to pass the time with a unique and very violent anime you've found the right place. This isn't really for the faint hearted. Things aren't really censored, so you'll get hit full blast with some wild stuff.
Overall: It's a good anime with a really really bad ending. The anime felt rushed and there's so many questions left unanswered that won't get answered clearly. If this doesn't deter you. Then by all means give this anime a watch! Because you'll surely enjoy it. Just don't expect any closure

Underrated anime of the year for sure. When talking about the art of the animation: The CGI was watchable. Not necessarily the best quality of animation but definitely more impressive than the berserk 2016 series.
The story was fantastic. It's about immortals (ajin's) who can never die who are continuing to terrorise japan with nagai (main character who's also a ajin) trying to stop him. This anime is unique and this season is dark. It's not everyday you get to watch an anime about immortal terrorists causing chaos.
As for the enjoyment: It's a intellectual anime you know. There's lots of suspense, it's thrilling

and you want to know what happens. I salute everyone who watched this anime episode by episode, this anime is too intense for that I had to wait for it to finish so I could binge watch it. This anime really gets you hooked in. You want to know how it ends, you want to know what happens next, you want to know the grand plan. The music is pretty dark and menacing.
Characters: Hmm. This anime has one of the best villans and most unlikeable main characters ever. The main character is annoying, selfish and a scumbag. He's interesting but I don't like him. There's some annoying characters on the good side. But tbh this show is filled with alot of dark characters. You'd be surprised.
Overall: I would give this anime a 9/10 but the ending is painful. I won't spoil it for you but if there's no season 3 I will be extremely dissappointed. I'm going to be honest 1 scene from the last episode completely ruins the season. It ends on such a cliffhanger. So if there's no new seasons and you're expecting a good ending, you'll be disappointed. But nevertheless this was a brilliant anime to watch.

Welcome to Afro samurai where people get sliced and diced. Decapitations and limb cutting ahoy. Gore everywhere. Swords, guns and arrows and more swords. That's the motto.
Action 8/10: The action is flipping thrilling. People get sliced to bits. Its brutal. Its really brutal. Heads flying, limbs falling. Its rough stuff but good stuff. Action is mostly fast paced and enticing with quick and fast movement however there's times where there's intellect and emotion displayed which really seduces you into the anime.

sense so its decent. It's mostly about revenge as Afro samurai tries to avenge his father and claim the number 1 headband. During the story the emotion levels are high. It's truly a sad anime as Afro samurai past is shown through parts of the anime. You feel sorry for the main character. His life was a struggle and he continues that bloody struggle as he watches his friends die amongst him as he slices his way to the number 1 headband.
Overall 8/10: This anime is unique. Another anime infused with hip hop. The music is beautiful. Absolutely stunning. It really does match with the scenes. What I would do to get a OST collection for Afro samurai! The soundtracks are totally amazing and the instrumentals really do bang. Wicked anime! You will not be disappointed by this. The conclusion is decent. I've watched this many times. You won't be disappointed by this anime

Samurai champloo is a rare anime. Anime infused with hip hop. It was a awesome mix. This anime banged. It's flipping great. The music and sound is perfect. The beautiful soundtracks on this anime give the most wonderful experience whilst watching samurais fulfill their duties.
Action 8/10: The action is good stuff. It's lightning quick. You see the swing the sword and the next second bang someone just got cut the hell up and there you go, people getting murdered in quick intervals. The swordplay is unique. You won't come across everyday anime where people swing there swords in a fast brutal fashion with murderous intent.

The action is very fast paced. The action sometimes gory other times not really but that's not a bother at all.
Story 8/10: It's generic but somewhat emotional. The story is about a girl who meets a character name mugen who is the gangster, thuggish type of samurai who saves her from getting her fingers cut off. Jin who seems like a respectable fighter battles with mugen and both are arrested. The girl named Fuu helps them escape from their execution and then they make a deal that both samurais will accompany her to find her father. During the way many battles and situations occur. Great character development and relationship building occurs throughout the anime. As it progresses the emotions, personalities and what drives each individual character becomes more clear and vivid. The story is enticing. So simple yet so addictive. You'll love it
Overall 8/10: Samurai champloo is a masterpiece samurai anime. It's a classic I've watched a couple of times. One thing that makes it stand out from other sword animes is the music. The music bangs. It's really unique.

Welcome to ninja scroll. A bloody anime where people are ripped apart, sliced apart and headbutted to death. This is a ninja type of anime as implied by the name and it's a classic.Very unique too.
Action 8/10: The action is crazily exciting. Gore, swords and demons are throughout the movie. It's a really dark brutal anime where people killed and torn apart in brutal fashion. It's not for the faint hearted at all. People wield all types of weapons and have special abilities. Although the action is fast paced, its also intellectual. order to live or outsmart there opponents on the battlefield. It's really good stuff.
Story 7/10. Story is generic but hey fair enough, after all basic stories with good endings don't trouble me at all. As an action anime lover this is totally fine with me. man who investigates a case where a group of demons are involved. During this man investigation he meets jubei ( the main character) and a particular female and this group battle there way to defeat the demons without revealing too much detail or any spoilers. It's an all out bloodshed battle as the loser is killed.
Overall 7/10. It's a anime classic, I've watched this movie so much times. It's one of my best ninja animes. It's brutal and the action and swordplay is unique. I'd recommend you watching it. Although it's relatively old, they don't do action animes like this anymore. The gore and action is amazing.

Welcome to a violent anime where people are beaten, shot and stabbed to death. Gore, Gore and more Gore. Immortals and humans kill each other in brutal and clever ways.
Action: 8/10. The action is good as an action anime lover it ticks the boxes. Gore is there too and there's alot of it. This isn't your everyday normal action anime. It's not for the faint hearted. Characters in Baccano are psychotic and don't give a crap to be honest. Characters can get blasted and killed at any moment. It's crazy. The action is unconventional and whacky. It's different. I love it. It's fast paced too.

Story 8/10. The stories in the beginning are all fragmented. Everything pieces together as the episodes progress. I like it. It's good. The ending is good and logical too. Everything gets wrapped up nicely. There's lots of emotion, sadness and pain in this anime. It's brutal. Nevertheless relationships, character development are built in this anime. This anime goes into characters in deep depth which will keep you focused.
Overall 8/10. I was watching this anime to pass the time. I underestimated it. It's in my action anime collection now. Great sophisticated story and good conclusion. No unanswered questions either or cliffhangers, the anime wraps everything up. Which as an action anime you'd expect if there's no sequel season coming out.

So many vampire theme animes out there but none of them do it like Hellsing. Hellsing is a masterpiece. If your looking for the top of the cake supernatural animes out there, here it is.
Action 10/10. Goddamn the action is epic. Jesus Christ, Heaven on earth. Gore, guns and swords. I repeat gore, guns and swords and some explosives too. There's action throughout. It's fast paced and gruesome. Not for the faint hearted. People of all ages ( kids, adults and the elderly) get killed, mauled and eaten. People get killed in the most violent of waves. bombing my God i could go on and on. Wild bloody action. As someone who loves action anime you can't ask for any more. It's the holy grail of action.
Story: 7/10. The story is okay. Focuses on a man called the major who comes back from the shadows of the nazi regime to declare war on England, Hellsing and Alucard in particular and engulfs the world in war. He achieves this by using his army of the undead. During Hellsing and the major encounter other parties are get drawn into the action and its an all out war. Lots of death, lots of gore, epicness in its true form. Of course there's emotion in this and character development. Relationships are built and sadly taken away. Hellsing really expresses all characters emotions, personalities and the things that drive them. The ending is pretty decent. It's a bit vague but the goals are achieved. You won't be disappointed with the ending. It's a good ending.
Overall 9/10. It's a masterpiece anime. You can't go wrong with hellsing.

This anime is a classic for me. As an person who loves action anime it delivers some good epic stuff.
Action: 9/10. This anime is violent and gory and I'm totally fine with that. People get eaten, monsters get cut up, half humans and half monsters ( claymores) get cut up. People getting killed left, right and center. Its perfect from an action point of view. Tonnes of action throughout the series. Won't be disappointed by it either. There's fast paced action. Slow emotional paced action and intellectual action where characters outsmart there opponents or evaluate the battles in detail. It's absolutely wonderful.
Story: 6/10. This story

was basic, effective and started of good. Without revealing too much its about revenge and a organization which deploys half human and half monster warriors ( claymores) to exterminate monsters. Relationships get built both between humans and claymores and the series just progresses from there. There's tonnes of emotion and hardship which will get you sucked in and focused on this. The story is great you'll love it. You'll hate the ending though. Many unanswered questions left. This is the type of anime which just didn't end. It needed a season 2 but never got it. I guess a part of that could be because it stopped following the manga at one point. The ending is catastrophic its bad and it ruins the whole series because the story was brilliant. Nevertheless if you like action and character development you should watch this series. Plenty of emotion and character and plot development.
Overall 7/10. The action and massacres are worth watching. The story is very seducing. The ending is heartbreaking it hits me every time i watch it.

Action: 9/10. The action is flipping epic. Action throughout the series. Gore and epic action. People have special abilities and trump cards and as overpowered as they may seem no one is untouchable in this anime. Expect the unexpected. You'll absolutely love it. The action is fast paced. Don't expect a happy ending sort of fairy tale here. It's not for the faint hearted. This anime is a emotional shipwreck and you will be affected after watching this. Relationships are built and then destroyed within an instant without any warning whatsoever. This is one anime where you cannot predict what's going to happen and how things are going to turn out. Its quite realistic in that sense.
Overall: 9/10. As an person who loves serious action anime, this is the anime for me and if you like action animes its the same for you. There's no childish action, sparing, fillers or respect for each other. It's like Claymore, Berserk and Hellsing. All out bloody war where the loser gets ultimately killed.
