My ratings mean:
10 = Outstanding, though not perfect. I rarely ever rewatch anime series. But if I do watch a series over, they're usually 10s. Only given 3 thus far.
9 = Excellent. They're usually series that either end up as a 9 or 9.5 but I rounded down. There are a few 9 rated series that I've rewatched.
8 = Very good. Generally, any anime that's rated 8 or above for me is something I liked and enjoyed watching.
7 = Decent. This is generally what I give series that I don't really know how to think of it. It means I enjoyed some to a lot of it, but the "meh" parts prevent it from getting an 8. This is where the majority of my completed anime fall under.
6 to 5 = Average to not-so-good.
< 4 = "teh suck". Basically had to force myself to finish or not finish at all. I don't believe I've ever given a 1, since I'd probably drop the series before I finished it if it were really that horrendous.

Woah, anime compatibility of 93.3%. That's something, I guess. It seems we tend to rate anime pretty similarly, too.

Hey! Our anime compatability is somewhat high! That's the first higher level I've gotten so far! (although I have just joined). Would you mind if I sent you a friend request? Also, read your review on Higurashi and I agree completely. I remember starting to watch it and was just expecting some harem thing with a horror twist and was almost going to drop it, but then it starting getting really good! Anyway, just thought I'd drop you a comment.

While I was out searching for anime that I wanted to add to my list, I immediately searched for Highurashi no naku koro ni. When I was scrolling down the page I peeked at the comments and reviews. I just happened to read yours and you were totally on point! Your review was very sweet and to the point ^^ and when I saw your avatar pic. I could tell that you really enjoyed the anime as did I.

I just started One Piece on an impulse, and I find it amazingly, surprisingly good. :D And no battle scene can be as long and boring as the latest scene in Naruto. . . Urgh. . .
I've not heard of Soul Eater before. The title sounds good, though.
