Azuriel lives on a tiny island near the equator but some day, she wish to spread her wings and travel around the world. She grew up as a quiet child who loves reading and losing herself in the fantasy world. Eventually, blooming into a young adult who was captivated by the world of anime where fantasy reigns.
She loves blood-pumping action and fighting scenes that gets her adrenaline rushing. Eventually, developing a liking for the clashing of katanas, the nimble and acrobatic moves of these shinobis, and way of a samurai. She remains undaunted by the bloody scenes of body parts being sliced, heads getting chopped and bodies being mangled.
Despite her morbid preference, she thoroughly enjoy adventure stories that encompass the hardships of life and the supports of nakama, with great character development. For instance, One Piece & Hunter X Hunter. This also sparked an interest in sports-related stories where the underdogs or genius overcomes many obstacles and strives hard to be the best - the strength of the human spirit, which is all so inspiring for Azuriel.
Occasionally, she would turn to the usual light-hearted romance and/or comedy that never fails to bring out the best emotion in her - crying her heart out, laughing out loud and giggling like a school girl.
She also has a fascination with the supernatural; spiritual realm, psychic, paranormals, vampires, witch, ghosts and any other unnatural powers.

Hi, a long time ago, you recommended Akagi and Hunter x Hunter to me.
I held off watching Akagi for a long, long time because I don't play Mahjong, and when I finally tried watching it, I couldn't get the rules of Mahjong at all. I found the first episode hard to follow, trying to understand the rules of Mahjong and analyzing the situation at the same time. Watched less than an episode of it.
As for Hunter x Hunter, after watching the 1st and 2nd openings on Youtube and previewing it a little, I put it on my on hold list, despite not watching it yet. With the long number of episodes, I'm not too sure about starting it too. I'd be able to complete several other series in the same amount of time.
I guess my taste has developed more in the past year compared to the previous 4 or 5 years. I'm leaning more towards series such as Berserk, Kaiji, Higurashi or more light hearted shows along the lines of Nodame Cantabile, GTO these days.
I'm not even sure about starting stuff like Busou Renkin, School Rumble, Shakugan no Shana that have been on my on hold and plan to watch lists for a long time already.
A kick-ass ramen recommended by my Japanese teacher.
A complete whiteout on top of Mount Aso.
Peace education at Nagasaki with a Nagasaki atomic bombing survivor.
Big-ass okonomiyaki worth beating your close friend for.
Playing with English-speaking Japanese elementary school kids at the Linden Hall Elementary School.
Dipping into scalding hot spring water at Beppu. I splashed hot water onto my friend's balls for shits and giggles.
Homestay at a mountain home.
Temples and Kyushu Museums.
Shopping at downtown Fukuoka.
Kumamoto Castle, Sea Hell and a robot museum.
A small earthquake.
... plus a lot more. More details at your request later on.
I know that I'm posting the reply far toooooooooooo late , but I guess its better than never :P ,,, thanx alot
that episode was hell I say, now I know why he is ur number one, but sanji stood still too :p ...
truth to be told, what I like the most about Zooro ( or zoolo) that all of the crew lack, is his hard working and training, like everybody knows why he is strong, that 1000 pound dumbbells are not to show off ,, but for the rest of the crew there powers are super natural, and thats all : /
Yea, was online, but went to sleep right after and didn't notice your message! XD
Well, I've been pretty busy lately, so my animing has been on decline. I't come back recently, though, kinda, but I;ve just been watching the now-airing anime. It's been a pretty poor season in terms of entertainment, other than the already airing from last season (Toradora, Skip Beat, Clannad: AS, Soul Eater etc), so I don't have anything to recommend for now.
My "date' was today, so yea. A girl that I have no chance of having in the near future, but yea, at least she agreed to go out with me today. Bought her lunch, a bear and a bouquet, so I guess it counts as a valentines date ba. XD
