About Avalongus
Hiya. I'm Avalongus, nice to meet you. I got into anime by watching popular shounen titles on TV like Pokémon, Digimon, Inuyasha, Dragonball Z, etc. Eventually, I started looking for titles on my own on the internet. Since then, I've discovered countless varieties of anime and became completely obsessed with it.

Aside from anime, I'm an avid music lover, and am aspiring to be a successful musician. Metal, jazz, and classical are my usual flavors of choice, though I occasionally delve into other genres. Some other interests of mine include astronomy, psychology, art, and video games.

If there's anything you'd like to know, feel free to drop off a comment. :)

Tune of the Moment:

Contemplating my current directionlessness in life and general existential terror. The usual. You?

+1 for the Aria avatar and profile pic. :)

What do you mean bro? It would only take you a second to do so! XD

Hahahaha well it's never too late bud, you are still young after all, so much of your life lays in front of you. Did you like baking or cooking more just out of curiosity.

Retro8bit | 01-06-13, 7:37 PM
I guess I can see what you mean, in fact to this day I don't ever recall you changing your pic on Facebook. At least not in a good long while that is.

I don't mind it really, so long as I wear a nice jacket it's really not that much different. So long as you can remember to keep the grill closed. Otherwise it will affect the product you are cooking.

Ah, am surprised, never knew you drank. Judging from your Facebook pic, I guess you just never struck me as the type.

Nothing actually, rarely ever do anything for New Years. Mostly just count down at home with family, and maybe have a Winter BBQ the next day.

Retro8bit | 01-02-13, 5:26 PM
I see...so wait, then that means you also don't give eachother gifts on Birthdays either? Since it's really the same idea.

Partying eh? How did New Years go for you then?

Retro8bit | 12-31-12, 9:01 AM
Same here actually, but that's the way I prefer it, simple. Me and my family watched movies, opened gifts, went to go see the Christmas lights around the neighborhood. Just nice simple things. Relaxing. :)

What did you get?

Retro8bit | 12-28-12, 12:15 PM
Yeah, but it still seems like regardless, we end up chatting on here again.

Merry Christmas by the way, how was yours'?

Retro8bit | 11-23-12, 11:10 AM
Ah man, the N64 is still one of my all-time favorite consoles. I still pull it out and play it to this day. How you been doing bud, still trying to get back into MAL as you can see. XD

Retro8bit | 10-14-12, 1:06 PM
Yes yes I will. At least that is what I would LIKE to say, but I get addicted to stuff easily. XD I'll let you know if the install goes well and all.

If you ever do have the time, I recommend checking out at least the NES and Genesis emulators. There were some real classics on those platforms. Some of which have sadly, not seen a sequel since. I have such a long list of games I would love to see get a comeback. Or atleast a downloadable version on one of the three consoles.

Retro8bit | 10-13-12, 10:17 AM
Oh really? I may want to check this game out. Tell me, are you into emulated games at all on your PC? Like NES, SNES, Genesis or Mame?

Retro8bit | 10-12-12, 1:46 PM
I can understand that, much like the internet, it's a wonderful thing when used in moderation.

Hmmm I'll look into it. Buy some chance does this game have online play? That would really keep me addicted.

Retro8bit | 10-10-12, 3:37 PM
Funny thing is, I was alot like that. I did rent often, but when I actually did get a new game it could keep me entertained for months. Now that I am older and have my own money, I am always switching to something new. Hardly any game can keep my attention for very long. v_v;

Hmmm interesting, is it a graphically demanding game? I don't have the best laptop around...lets just say.

Retro8bit | 10-07-12, 2:13 PM
I can certainly see where you're coming from there, especially since they were "mature" games.

Hmmm no I don't believe so. Is that a PC or console game?
