Its from amagami. The character is Kamizaki Risa.

I placed the communicator as representing god, though I suppose he could just be an agent of god. I was specifically referring to the message I pointed out in my review, that "It preaches what is a sin and what isn't, it invokes god (no, they don't literally say “god,” but it's really obvious who represents god), it creates an idealized world as a manifestation of Christian sentiments." I guess if you want me to get more detailed, I think that Haibane Renmei is a mixture of Buddhism, Christianity, and Abe's own sentiments, and preaches blind adherence to tradition, that if you don't behave in a certain manner you will be punished (for example, touching the wall which represents temptation is not allowed), that one must live selflessly, etc. I guess the real problem though is that the message reverts to a paradigm that glorifies subservience to higher authority over what I regard as higher ideals: freedom and individualism. Does that sort of answer your question?

Yes, it was very nice to see!

Is a very well written and great review!

It explains everything is a logical and descriptive manner that does well to present your points. And I happened to agree with almost all of them!

I can't even remember what I said about it :P

Awesome Sora no Woto review ^_^

@_@

Not this again. I've repeatedly asked people not to do things like that, as I've had it done to me many a time and I hated it. I don't like it happening in any form.

I can only apologise as some people seem unwilling to listen.

Fantastic Sora no Woto review, you spoke what I could not explain. Please do write more reviews. Absolutely fantastic.

fluffybear | 03-29-10, 12:15 AM
Oops. Yeah, I missed the spoiler alert, but now I see it. My bad. I'll retract the bulk of my statement, but as you said, it'll still probably be a good idea to post a warning at or near the intro too, just for good measure.

fluffybear | 03-28-10, 11:52 PM
Not saying it's a bad review (it's fantastic and very thorough), and I'm not sure if this is really just part of your style, but your review of Sora no Woto is rife with spoilers, and no warning about them. It's meant to be read by those who have already finished the anime, while people typically look to reviews to see whether the anime is even worth watching to begin with.

I'm not sure how big of a concern this was for you when you first wrote it, but since the review relies so heavily on the spoilers in order to deliver its message, I at least recommend placing a warning of some sort at the very top. I don't think I'd be able to appreciate the anime as much if I knew what was going to happen the first time I saw it.

I am glad that deep down you have come to your senses, I didn't dislike any of the seasons of Hidamari SKetch, they're easy to watch and light, fluffy entertainment for the entirety of the episode but it ends after the episode ends, you don't exactly give what you've just seen any thought after it ends. I'm glad they make animes like that though, it's good stuff to alternate the heavier stuff with.
