About Archaeon

Firstly, my profile picture is of The Dude from the Coen Brother's movie "The Big Lebowski". It is not Jesus.

Feel free to comment/message me if there's something I've said that you don't like or agree with. Discussions are always welcome as long as they're rational, logical, coherent (hopefully - an idiot who's blinded by rage isn't usually the most talkative of people as their vocabulary usually devolves to grunts, moans and swearing), and preferably in english (I've nothing against other languages, I just don't speak them that well).

If you wish to have a go at me - either as a comment or as part of a discussion - then please be creative. I'll only take you seriously if you can prove that you have talent when it comes to the art of the insult, and this means you should try to avoid swearing and use your imagination.

And for those of you who lack the intelligence (or ability), to follow simple requests like these, please refrain from talking to me you miserable excuses for the excrement that fell out of a baboon's rectum. You're about as evolved as the lowest single-celled lifeform and you shame the rest of humanity with your existence. It's a disgrace that you buck-toothed, chinless wonders actually have opposable thumbs. You should do the decent thing and isolate yourself in a dark room - or at least wear a bag over your head when you go out so I won't vomit all over the street at the sight of your bug-eyed, monobrowed countenance staring at every shiny thing like a goldfish on bad acid (it helps to blink you know - if you can get your head around that idea).

That is just one simple example of a crafted insult (there are plenty more so try some yourself). If you automatically resort to swearing then it only proves that you either lack the intelligence to breathe and talk at the same time, or that you're a kid trying to prove how big and tough they are (when in truth you've probably got more spots than a leopard, the muscle tone of an elastic band, and a smell so definable it has its own personality).

I do not, and will never accept a random request from anyone. If you want me to accept you as a friend then we should have had at least one meaningful conversation. This does not mean one or two comments on my profile, a short discussion about the weather, a chat about nothing in particular, etc.

The truth is out there. The lies are in your head ...

really enjoy reading your reviews man, especially your gintama and aria the origination review. 1 question: is mushishi really worth the watch like many people say it is? Anyways thank you for you amazing reviews!

I finally got around to read your review of Evangelion. Woow, I haven't read a review that good and critical in a while.

kaushik17 | 09-16-14, 8:28 AM

Nice Aria the Origination review man. Not only did you sum up the premise story of the Origination really well, but also the essence of what the entire Aria-series stands for.

Hello. First off I'm pretty much a nobody on MAL, and while I do read on the forums from time to time here 99% I just lurk. Now that that's out of the way I have a question for you, and it stems from a review you did on Usagi Drop...

"The again, who wants to watch a show about the trials and tribulations of raising children, especially when the steady diet of fanservice, explosions, brainless muscular heroes, top heavy heroines, nonsensical plots, pseudo-psychology, quantum-hokum, etc, are apparently what passes for entertainment these days."

That part in particular really got me thinking. Wouldn't something like Mirai Nikki fall under that? I mean don't get me wrong I actually enjoyed it, but I couldn't help, but feel that the show couldn't stand on it's own without Yuno. I feel like the creators wanted to flesh out the other enemies characters, but simply didn't do much with them, or perhaps lacked the time due to it being an anime. I really just don't like how it feels the entire show was built around one character, and the others had their time, but just didn't get fleshed out enough.

As for the plot I was fine with the whole death match premise, but the further along the show went the worse it got. However I will say that towards the plot got really shaky... ridiculously so as a matter of fact.

Anyway... Is it a good idea to build a show around a single character? granted Minene did play a large part towards the end, and kind of helped push the story along, but still I think if the characters besides Yuno, and Yuki had more beef to them it would have helped Mirai Nikki a lot. What I'm trying to say is that had the characters, and world had more time to be fleshed out I think it would have done a lot for the show.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to hear from you. Also, sorry if this seems a bit discombobulated, but I've been dealing with some family matters as of late. Hope to hear from you. Cheers.

Hi there, I just wanted to pop by and say I've really enjoyed reading your reviews on this site. Obviously I don't always agree with them, but I've never felt that you were unfair in your analysis of any series I've seen. In fact, a number of times you've pointed out flaws with shows which I did not initially notice on my own--a rare treat, but something I always enjoy because it helps me to become a better critic of my favorite entertainment medium (not to mention the comparisons you make in said reviews often pointing me to series I need to watch to better understand the series or genre in question).

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your reviews and look forward to reading more of them in the future! Later!

I have a question: Are you a seasonal fan or do you watch whatever you want to watch?

kaushik17 | 08-26-14, 2:47 AM
Nice gintama review

Hey man, just wanted to say I really enjoy your reviews. Just have one question to ask, what do you think was the biggest waste of potential for a series?

xbobx | 08-24-14, 12:40 AM
Hey there.
Do you still lurk this site?

I do know this is pretty old but, heh, it's your fault for writing it:
>There's also the issue of Dalian's connection to the pink haired girl living in the "gourd", but that raises a lot of other questions, especially about Raziel and Flamberge, so if you really want to know, just ask (or Google it).
On the Dantalian no Shoka review, if you happened to find information on those, please, do share.
I scavenged the shit out of this on every medium possible and couldn't find anything close to an explanation nor background story of Dalian and the other gauges.
So, yes, I'm really perplexed by your saying... Unless all you have is suppositions.
Then I pass. Already have tons of my own.
