Work: I'm very lucky to work at a comic bookstore where we sell manga. But of course, we have more than that! From Superman to Transformers, from art to alternative English books. And of course, more! ;P
I have a wide taste in anime and manga. I simply like it, or the series doesn’t attract me. I love action or comedy based series, but a good drama from time to time is also something that I like. A combination of humour and action is what I love most, but that doesn’t mean that I like every shounen anime/manga that’s out there. And despite what I say about shoujo being the dramatic high school drama that it is; some of my favorite series are shoujo. I can’t help it, I’m a girl! ^^
I spend most of the day behind the computer; watching anime, reading manga, gaming, writing stories or doing homework. Of course, more stuff, but If I had to name every little thing I do behind the computer….the list would be long! xD
The only otaku family I have is my cousin; who is only ten days older than me! Thomas is his name, and of course, he has a profile here on MAL ^^
Other than the usual otaku hobbies; I love singing and dancing, though I’m not very good at both, I just love to do it. =w= I like to draw, mostly random figures, or little doodles next to my math or Dutch lessons. xD I’m trying to teach myself Japanese, but I’d rather follow some real Japanese lessons..the problem is that it’s very expensive…>,<
I love to listen to music. My preference in music is very broad.I love Beethoven, but J-pop, HipHop, pop, rock, traditional koto music or even latin salsa is something you can also find on my iTunes. Old rock like Elvis and new pop like Mika, I got it all. The only music I don’t like is music with Dutch singers in it. I just can’t stand it! >,<
My room is very Japanese, because (you can call it obsessed if you want to ;p), I’m very interested in the Japanese culture and I can’t wait to go to Japan one time =w= I love everything about Japan and everyone in my family knows it. I got toothpicks from Italy because it had a samurai on it! xD
And now..for something completely different; I got a boyfriend! Yay! But the best part is; we met through MAL! Another yay! We’re a year together now and still madly in love. You can find a picture of us together on his profile; Chavez

Yeah, it's really lamentable that some people are just quiet and content with a limited exposure to the content when the manga generally offers more. I also enjoy mindless yaoi sex, but as I actually pass the time laughing about the terrible adaptation or how embarrassing and ridiculous they, sometimes, sound, I can't take it seriously and give it a high score. Don't get me wrong though, I REALLY enjoy them or I wouldn't watch Yaoi over and over, that would be masochistic, haha.
I loved Junjou, it was actually realistic and deep. It had good comedy, too; in between the plot and that made it enjoyable and plausible. I love the story but I didn't like the art style, so I couldn't read beyond volume one. Maybe it's possible to warm up to it, haha. it's happened to me before... I should give it a second opportunity, since the story really worth it. If I do pick it up, I'll let you know what I think =)

haha, don't take it so personally. It is true that it's your choice to put whatever score you want, yet I'm surprised someone would found it so enjoyable that they'll score it so high. I also enjoyed Sensitive Pornograph more, but I wouldn't score it so highly... I think there's better stuff out there. I also prefer reading manga instead of watching yaoi anime, I feel like the adaptations never give the original work enough credit.
So far, the one I've enjoyed the most is Junjou Romantica, because it's not just sex, there's actual plot and character development and, surprisingly enough, I didn't think I would like it so much because I didn't like the manga that much.

I have a really strange thing where I will eat just about any meat in any form as long as it isn't like the head of the animal. However as a little kid, I never wanted to eat chocolate bunnies on Easter. haha
Oh and I've never ate insects. Well maybe when I was sleeping. haha
