I get that. Not everyone likes every single genre. I've heard good things about One Outs, actually, and I'm really intrigued by how it turns out. I wanna watch Cross Game, too, and that's also why I want to try Baby Steps! I actually think several of the obscure sports manga I plan to read are because it appears to have the potential for romance haha.

Yeah, sorry, I did mean Sket Dance. Actually, I just reread my comment and I can't believe I never said Sket Dance >__> In fact, I think I made more than one error, and I'm astounded by that. I feel dumb now lol. But it looks so promising, and I laugh when I see the gifs you took from it haha :) That might be what I start next. It's between that and Detective Conan. It's pretty cool that you started in, and can watch in moderation! How far in are you?

Thanks!

Anime music is a pretty big portion of my library, too. One of Tokyo Ghoul's anime's few redeeming features is the opening and endings, which I like. That's really interesting that you listen to classical! I was wondering why your profile screamed 'elegant' and 'high class' lol ;D The only experience I've had with it was when I was younger and some teachers played it for us in classes. Maybe I should try it to relax as well.

P.S. Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora was pretty good. It's definitely a drama, so maybe that's up your alley. I liked it, and it's probably worth a watch, especially considering how short it is. If I remember correctly, the middle was a tad bit slow perhaps. It was maybe(?) a little depressing at times. I won't say whether the ending was or wasn't, since that would be a huge spoiler, but I would definitely recommend you try it :)

P.P.S. That's a pretty good song! I'm really into the openings and endings for Tokyo Ghoul RootA and Magic Kaito 1412 right now.

I'm soooooo sorry I didn't see your friend request, for some reason it never notified me when I'd get a one, and when I got on this morning, all the sudden I see on my profile in like orange letters it said I had 58 request. But anyways how have you been! I see your a CLAMP Fan with xxxHOLic, Kobato, and Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. I have not read the manga for any of them, but the anime for xxxHOLic I liked alot, Yuuko is funny as hell <3 Kobato I mean you got the most adorable main character to exist in anime ever. And Tsubasa, well....I have not watched or read the manga for that. Reason is because I heard the anime for it is really really bad compared to it's manga, so maybe in the summer I'll consider reading that and completeing it. What did you like about the manga for Tsubasa ?
SheasonDuerulo Feb 25, 2015 7:35 PM
Haha, good luck with your reading! :D Did you manage to finish in time? I wish I had a little bit more free time for anime/manga. I guess technically I do, but I probably should be devoting the little extra to schoolwork and other things, but it's soooo more fun to read manga lol. Right now, I'm trying to read Kuroko no Basket from the beginning since the last season is airing right now.

I also have to tell you that the gifs your profile has really make me wanna start it so badly!!! I liked the crossover episodes with Gintama and it's been on my PTW for awhile, so maybe I need to start.....
But I also kind of want to get into Detective Conan. I went on a Magic Kaito binge and they're written by the same person, but there's almost 800 episodes, I tell you! :P

As for your question, I'd say I'm a quarter Indian and 3/4 German. Although most of it is German or Swiss German, I believe there is some other European mixed in like Irish or Danish? I get some German/European from my dad and my mom's half German half Indian, since her parents were children of immigrants.

Hmmm, I think I'll ask what kind of music you like, if any. There isn't really anything I don't like, but I usually end up finding hipster, indie rock/pop music.

No problem and Thanks :3
Sorry fir the late reply ; A ;
SheasonDuerulo Jan 28, 2015 5:54 PM
Oh man, this has been way too long. Sorry about that :/

I can see what you mean, but watching in that way can be nice, too. I kind of like finding obscure anime that not many people know of, especially if they're good! Also, SOUR SKITTLES RULE!!! :D

That's probably the right thing to do. Speaking of, how are you enjoying both of those manga? I've been wanting to watch their adaptations for awhile. Anyway, Tokyo Ghoul can wait, but it is pretty great, so you should get to it next!

Haha, sometimes they do call me that, but it's become less frequent since high school :P Oh well, I don't listen to as much Jason Derulo anyways, so I'll have to apologize to my brother lol.
SheasonDuerulo Jan 6, 2015 4:11 PM
I'm all for that rule, since I take forever haha :P

Hahaha I like your Skittle analogy. I usually eat all of my food like that lol, except my anime watching doesn't really follow a pattern. I just scroll through my ptw list and see if anything piques my interest at the time. Though I do try to throw in something I don't expect to like every once in awhile so that I don't watch everything good at once, leaving me with low-ranking shows. Watching bad shows in between also helps my list to look only slightly like a middle school fangirl, rather than completely lol. Also, during holiday and extended breaks, I tend to watch/read a lot because I know I have a lot of free time and can get through shows uninterrupted, because I get addicted and marathon things.
Another fun fact, I didn't know different colored Skittles had different flavors! I didn't really eat them very much as a kid. When I did, I almost exclusively went for sour Skittles, because I wanted to eat as much as I could at once for as much sour taste as I could get lol.

Yeah, I read the manga and did almost nothing else while I did so :P If I were to pester you to get to anything, it would have to be finish Tokyo Ghoul. You put it on hold right where it gets even more intense, so I would say GO READ IT haha ;D But you were right about the anime. I'm really disappointed they tried to stuff 64-66 chapters into a single season when most long-running shows will adapt 2-3 chapters per episode. You're also right about the horror genre and the R-rating. I didn't like the censorship either at first, but I think at one point it became uncensored or an uncensored version aired later, so that was a little better. I heard Kiseijuu was uncensored, so that sounds like it'll be pretty cool when I watch it!

P.S. Technically it's Robert, but I go by my middle name Shea because I didn't like the name Robert when I was a kid. In high school, the radio was playing and Jason Derulo was on. At that time, one of my friends came up with the nickname 'Sheason Duerulo' because my middle name and last name fit perfectly into Jason Derulo haha :P Anyways, hello Anna :D

P.P.S. Haha Happy New Year to you, too! :)

OMG thanks for recommending The World is Still Beautiful
It's sooooo cute!! :D

HAPPY NEW YEARS~ :3
SheasonDuerulo Dec 31, 2014 3:16 AM
Ugh, now I'm the one making you wait, sorry >_> (But yeah, "Marmalade Boy Little")

I've actually never thought to try the library! I might do that now, so thanks! Anyways, I do buy some volumes myself, but mostly I'll read online. Having the physical book is nice because it means it's been professionally published, and therefore it has acceptable, proofread translation. I did this when I read Bakuman and Death Note, and it's how I've been reading The Seven Deadly Sins. Otherwise, I'll find a site online that hosts scans of manga. However, they're dependent upon volunteer translator groups, whom may not be that great at translating into decent English. I've read quite a few bad manga chapters in broken English as a result lol. Also, I, too, have the OCD completion disease, so it's possible that a scanlator group will pick up a manga project, than drop it mid-way and it's never finished, which would be a disaster for me haha :P
I've had pretty good experience with MangaHere and KissManga, but I generally prefer the latter. MH usually has a bigger, more complete catalog and updates chapters faster sometimes, but KM makes it easier to search manga and lets you view all the pages in a chapter at once if you like, rather than only loading one page at a time on MH and most other sites. Profiles on KM make bookmarking manga so that you know when new chapters come a lot simpler.

Hahaha, my brother Jason & I are very glad you'll try those out :) I also would say to watch SteinsGate, because it is PHENOMENAL

Man, do NOT get me started on Tokyo Ghoul hahaha. It's the reason I took so long to respond, since that was literally all I did yesterday (I saw the sun rise, too lol :P). I mainly wanted to try the anime because I was curious what the characters' voices were like. Manga >>>>>> Anime haha. The anime is okay, it's just really fast when the pace should be slower. And no, it's censored! Why?! :P But, seriously, just great, more choices for my favorites lol.

P.S. haha you don't have to feel guilty. It's like I have a Canadian pen pal now lol :D
SheasonDuerulo Dec 26, 2014 12:26 AM
Ha! I do see what you did there! (And loved it lol) Monster has been something I've been thinking about for awhile. I actually picked up the first volume on a whim since it's ranked 7th on this site. I've also thought about Natsume Yuujinchou and Marmalade Boy. Marmalade Boy in particular I saw on a few manga sites and thought about starting it, especially because the premise of the sequel sounded good.

Haha thanks, I'm glad someone enjoyed my review :D

OH! I wanted to start Kiseijuu since it's fairly short and apparently good! That might be the push I need to start it! Tsubasa was another manga I've seen before, but I saw the chapter count was high and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find every chapter, which means my I couldn't finish it and that would be unforgivable haha :P Do you know if the whole series is available online?

Also, if you liked drama/romance coming from Marmalade Boy, maybe you'll like Kokoro Connect? It was one of the first anime I saw after joining MAL, and it was on my favorites for a loooong time. In my opinion, it's really, really good :) Arakawa Under the Bridge is also fantastic, I think. It gets to be pretty ridiculous, and it sort of reminds me of Gintama (a bonus!). I think it's pretty underrated and it may be another anime you would like! I'd say give it a shot! :D
SheasonDuerulo Dec 24, 2014 10:47 PM
Exactly! Gintama is my favorite, too, so maybe I should follow suit? I actually do change my bottom three favorites every once in awhile... O.o

I turn 21 the month after you. Living in the U.S., that'll give me the right to buy and consume alcohol, but I probably will not do any of that, because I, too, do not like the stuff at all. I've tried a couple of apple and orange and fruity flavored drinks that I could tolerate, but they weren't very strong anyways haha :P

P.S. Good god, thank you so much! :) I feel really happy whenever people say something positive about my reviews, so you're super cool (as if you being a Gintama fan wasn't cool enough lol)

P.P.S. I was thinking of reading Tokyo Ghoul over winter break while I have more free time, but I was also considering Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, or even Gintama (now that the anime is coming back in April :D). What would you recommend?
SheasonDuerulo Dec 23, 2014 10:36 PM
I like your favorites so much, I'll drink to them (once I'm 21 and eventually acquire a taste for alcohol)
