I'm not really good at recommending Anime shows since I know I'd be biased xD.
But let me try, since your a guy I'll assume you love basketball [well my guy friend said that every male loves basketball, tell me if he's wrong and I'll punch him for giving me false information xD]. There's this ongoing anime entitled "Kuroko no Basket", and even though I'm a girl and I don't really understand some of the rules concerning the game I'm pretty fascinated with this show, It's rather cool, why not give it a try? :D
You can visit my Anime list if you want to as well, hahaha, I really don't know where to start, I've got a lot of great anime on my mind right know, but try the one I suggested first then I'd go on. Feel free to ask me anytime, I'd be delighted to help.
