When describing myself, nothing certain can be said. My mood varies from one extreme to the other. I'm a typical dreamer and i spend most of my time with my head in the clouds. Other people, mostly my friends, claim me to be really friendly and good-natured. Also, everyone says that i use sarcasm and irony more often than appropriate -.-
My hobbies include kendo, drawing, basketball (street-style, only in summer) and mmo-s (no need to mention anime here, my list speaks for itself :D). Also, this might not classify as a hobby, but i'm a huge fan of yuri ^_^. By the way, i'm a huge fan of bikes as well.
I guess that's about it.

Fate/Stay Night. One of the best series from 2006, i strongly suggest watching this
The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya. One of the few series that actually deserve it's popularity. I strongly suggest watching this if you're new to anime since it's a nice way to start. NOTE: Do NOT drop this after the first episode. You'll regret it.
Shakugan No Shana. The main character is a tsundere with a flaming sword and a talking amulet. What's here not to like ^^. Oh yea, a small bonus to fans of the series :)

Elfen Lied. Mild nudity, lotsa blood and gore. I consider Elfen Lied one of the most disturbing anime series and i guess that's why it's here ...
Neon Genesis Evangelion. Fans of psychological dramas just need to see this. Actually, this is a must to every otaku.
Death Note. Don't be scared by DN's popularity. I assure you, this is nothing like Naruto or Bleach. DN is about 2 masterminds trying to outwit each other.

As for the friend request thing, there are some people who have in their profile, "IF YOU SEND ME A FRIENDS REQUEST AND I DON'T KNOW YOU, I'LL KILL YOU!" I just didn't want to seem like that myself.
