Hey MAL, here’s an introduction to get things going (How I got into Anime).
I started watching shows like Dragon Ball, Pokémon, Rurouni Kenshin, random episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh, etc. with my cousins when I was little (before I was 5 years old). I crossed an episode or two of shows like Yu Yu Hakusho, Sailor Moon, etc. but I wasn’t really interested at the time (I’m assuming it’s because my cousins never heard of them/weren’t interested, I was too young to understand what was really going on, etc). Eventually I picked up Naruto, One Piece, and Fullmetal Alchemist when they premiered on Cartoon Network (around 2004-2005) and started to fall in love with these “cartoons”. However, I later fell off One Piece since 4Kids discontinued it on cartoon network sometime in 2006, which was right around the start of the Alabasta Arc (from what I remember). After doing some research, I realized the English Dub was discontinued, but was still airing in Japan. As a kid, I thought that since it was only airing in Japan, there was no way for me to continue the series, so I simply just gave up on it. I later then began to re-watch the shows I grew up on such as the Dragon Ball, Kenshin, and Pokémon series online for the nostalgia and even discovered some parts of the franchises I had missed. While on a roll, I began re-watching Naruto from the beginning, even though it wasn’t finished yet, just for the hell of it and stuck with it every week until it was finally over. I had stayed away from Shippuden at the time because I wanted to wait until a good bit of episodes had already aired so I could binge watch them on a rainy day. This was because I wanted a change of pace from watching an episode a week, to watching as much as I want until I’m satisfied.
At this point in time, a few weeks had passed since I started high school and I overheard some of my friends talking about One Piece. Being myself, I joined them and started hearing about all this “new” stuff. When I stated “I thought it was discontinued in English around episode 1xx?”, they said it actually went a bit further to around 200 or so, but I should just watch it in Japanese with English subtitles since its way ahead, around episode 4xx. I then looked at them like they were crazy and asked how can they watch the episodes when they were only aired in Japan (remembering the time when I gave up as a kid since the newer episodes were only aired in Japan). They then told me I can easily find it online by searching for it with English subtitles, and were surprised that I didn’t know this. I was feeling shocked, excited, and many other emotions all at the same time. I then managed to make it through the remaining school day and as I got home, I was glued to the computer, forget everything else.
As I started doing some “research” it then hit me like a truck. Right, they weren’t cartoons (which I assumed since they were on Cartoon Network), they were anime. I started to go crazy and began re-watching One Piece right from the start in Japanese. At a routine of around 10 episodes a day, it took me less than two months with all the movies to finally catch up. While on a roll, I re-watched Naruto again, but this time in Japanese, only to finally move on to Shippuden and be up to date. Not wanting to slow down because it would seem like a waste, I did most of my childhood series, again, only to still feel like I’m missing out on the bigger picture when I was done. I then remembered bleach and finally decided to give it a go, was easily hooked, and played catch-up again. After that Fairy Tail crossed me and before I knew it, I was watching the big 4 every week, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail. This made my High School years all the more satisfying, until Fairy Tail went on hiatus in March 2013.
I was fine for the next few weeks as I was graduating the day before my 18th birthday and had a lot of things to deal with, like college. However, as my birthday party passed and I was about to go to sleep, something felt off, and I suddenly remembered a series, from god knows when, where someone was trapped inside a video game. Wanting to fully remember what it was before I forget, I got up and got on the computer. 5 minutes of searching on the internet led me to .hack//Sign on this very website and I remembered promising myself to watch it at some point in time. So I got back into my bed with my iPad and started the series. At about 4 episodes a night, I finished it in a week, but still felt unsatisfied. Back on MAL, I noticed the sequels to the show, .hack//Intermezzo and .hack//Unison, which were just two more episodes, and .hack//Roots and .hack//Tasogare no Udewa Densetsu (Legend of the Twilight), both full series. I watched the 2 episodes (Intermezzo and Unison) the next day, and began .hack//Roots the day after, only to finish it in a week again. As I was about to start Legend of the Twilight afterwards, I started to feel like I shouldn’t watch it yet so I would have something to look forward to, but at the same time I still wanted to watch something else that’s new to me. While I began searching MAL and other websites to find new series, I started to discover different anime and genres altogether. Soon after, I came across and watched shows like Ano Natsu de Matteru and Nazo no Kanojo X, which only kept me wanting more. Then I started to use MAL’s recommendations which helped in providing series that have some similarities. Eventually, luckily quickly, I realized I needed a means to keep track of the anime I watched to recall what I watched, find recommendations, etc… After my first month of watching newly discovered anime, I finally created an account here and started building my own list and it’s been great ever since.

About Me (Personality):
I’m not picky when it comes to anime in general, but I do get a certain feeling for some specifics at times like a great story, a good tearjerker, amazing animation, well rounded, etc… I usually watch as much as my life and body allows so I finish different series as quickly as I possibly could. Since I’m not biased against any genre, time of release, etc., I usually appreciate an anime for what it already is. Also, with my optimistic personality, I personally think that it would be near impossible for me to find an anime I “hate” rather than like or love.

Scoring:
I have an optimistic personality so I tend to overlook the bad for the good and simply enjoy what I watch rather than criticize them. So while I've created my own general scoring system that rates an anime based on what I believe it deserves, I still score based on multiple factors. These can include their main genre(s), sub-genre(s), # of episodes (I love shows with more episodes), when it was aired, its relatively to other, similar, anime (same/better/worse), etc... I also have various categories for which I would place a certain anime within when scoring. While I do use the standard genre tags such as action, comedy, shounen, etc., I have my own personal categories I use such as before 1990's, 1990's - 2000's, after 2000's, +100 episodes, t.v. series, movie, ova, ona, music, etc. This lets me give an anime its highest possible score by letting me categorize them to my liking.
* Actual Score (My Personal Score) – Description/Reasoning *
10---(11/10)--- The best out of masterpieces. If there was anything higher than a 10/10, these would be them.
--9---(10/10)--- Masterpieces. The best out of their main genre with very little to no flaws. Completely Enjoyed and Engaged.
--8----(9/10)---- Almost a masterpiece, but still amazing in their respective genres. May have flaws that may or may not be noticeable, but good enough for them to be overlooked. Enjoyed/Engaged almost as much as a Masterpiece.
--7----(8/10)---- Great, definite must watch (eventually) if a fan of the genre/series, highly memorable.
--6----(7/10)---- Good to watch, but not having much of an impact. Simply, there definitely are better anime to watch, but should at least give a try. Great to pass the time. Memorable to an extent.
--5----(6/10)---- Borderline. Enjoyed it somewhat, but doesn't have really have any impact. No hate, but no reason to tell anyone about it. It's just there.
--4----(5/10)---- Wanted to enjoy it, but surprisingly fell short of my expectations. Can see why some may enjoy, but I didn’t.
--3--(3-4/10)---- May have shown some hope, but ultimately fails in every aspect.
--2----(2/10)---- Absolutely nothing going for it. No substance, but hey, it’s still considered an anime.
--1----(1/10)---- Shouldn’t exist, period.
My scores are based solely on what I believe an anime deserves. While they are technically final, it may be possible that I will adjust them in the future as I watch more anime. I am also up for discussion on anything as long as it remains mostly civilized (no bashing/trolling) as I have an open mindset. It can be about anything anime related such as my list, scores, a specific anime, etc., or me personally.

List Setup:
My watching list is actually my plan to watch list for anything before 2015. If I have seen any episodes from it, it’s currently watching.
On hold is anything I wanted to see but couldn’t find it anywhere. If there is anything on this list that you know where I could watch it, PLEASE TELL ME SENPAI!
Plan to watch is anything after 2015, with some mistakes, and would prefer to not touch until I’ve cleared most of my watching section.
Since it gets hard to pick and move on to another anime at times, any help is appreciated, especially if it’s something in my “Watching” section. If it wasn’t already apparent, I prefer to complete franchises one at a time, so if a franchise has another part that IS or possibly coming out, please don’t mention it as there's a high chance I wouldn't start it yet. However, you are welcome to try and convince me otherwise. If there is something that I've missed for a franchise I've already started/completed, PLEASE TELL ME SENPAI!

After heavily indulging for roughly 18 months (June 26, 2013 – December 14, 2014), I took a break to relax and get my life back in order.
