I got really into Anime in my high school years when Cartoon Network started showing things like DBZ.
I'm thankful to say that wider accessibility through the greatness of the Internet, Netflix, and a real job, my horizons have expanded beyond poor dubs and episode after episode of powering up :)
I still enjoy fighting Anime, but at least now I can skip all that filler that drags a show down. (I'm looking at you Bleach)

Hey there. Saw the link for your panel on the ASK-C forums so I thought I'd look you up and add ya. Saiyuki like Get Backers? Hmm, I only watched the first episode of Get Backers and wasn't hugely impressed. Maybe I'll give it another shot. Saiyuki is a lot of fun, but I'll warn you that there tends to be some fan service for the ladies throughout ;)

Thankfully Gundam 00 seems to be taking a turn for the better. In episode 7 we're finally getting some character development, even if it is only for Setsuna.

Yeah Over Drive is the greatest, it'll definitely be going into my top 5 list after its done being subbed.
I'm not too much of a gundam fan but I like Gundam 00 so far, it kind of feels like Gundam seed which i also liked, I get the impression that most of the other gundam series emphasize too much on the mobile suits themselves, I like how gundam 00 has a good story behind all of the action and the characters all seem cool, so anyways yeah I've been enjoying the series so far and I'm looking forward to more episodes^^,
