Hehe, thanks. Glad to see another Precure fan around these parts. Definitely check out Yes! 5 when you have the chance. The cast dynamics alone make it worth the watch.

And oh wow, someone else who doesn't think Fresh Precure is the greatest entry in the franchise.

That's exactly why I can't sympathise with her. On top of that It's her god damn fault she's in that situation. But even then there's no real reason for her to be acting the way she is. Hell if you ask me I'd say her situation's better than most people including myself. It's not like she's got it any worse than the Keions, the Kinmozas and the Hidamaris. She just chooses to reject it because... well, she's stupid.

The other girls and the threads on /a/ are basically the only reason I'm still watching it. But since Yura, basically the worst lead character ever, is carrying the entire show I don't think my 1/10 score is changing any time soon. I actually feel bad that Sawashiro Miyuki had to be involved in such a shitty anime. I mean sure she was in Eva 3.0, Uta no Prince Sama and A-Channel but none of them are anywhere near as terrible as this show. At least her character isn't totally unlikeable. That would have been the worst.

You know, I actually completely agree with you about Shinji. Yura is way, way worse. She also manages to be literally worse than Shu Hitler. I mean I can bash on a show like Evangelion for being filled with wangst but no matter how insufferable at the end of the day people are going to be miserable when it's the fucking end of the world. Hell, I can even defend Mirai Nikki in that regard since the setting is also a life or death situation. But Stella? It's just a harmless sport.

And Yura is just a really shitty person. She acts like a complete cunt towards everybody and then goes into emo mode when she realises they hate her for it. She never once takes it for a sign that she could be doing something wrong and just continues to run away from her problems. In fact, everyone around her is becoming more likeable for the sole reason that they're not completely irredeemable little shits like Yura.

Glad we're in agreement. Fuck Yura and fuck Gainax. Although as satisfying as it would be to deck her she's less likely to realise the error of her ways and more likely to just wallow in her sadness wondering why I hate her so much.
