A classic anime must!

Full Metal alchemist is a show about two boys who did something unthinkable to bring back their mother from the dead. While attempting Human Alchemy something goes horrible wrong. Edward Elric loses a leg and an arm, and his brother lost his body, now his younger brother's soul is incasted inside a giant suit of armor. The two are determined to get their bodies back to normal, and the only way they can do that is to aquire the legendary Philosopher's stone. But there's quite a few challenges during their journey.

I personally believe this is a great show. I really like the story line the writers created for the show, it makes it interesting. Especially the characters, a big congratulations to the writers on that half, especially on the part of Edward! He's part of the reason i watch the show!

It's comedic too, which is a big bonus. The funniest part's i would have to say are the times when Edward spazzes out because of people calling him small! XD

The animation is brilliant too, great job to the animators!

There are a few things i'm not crazy about in the show however. In later episodes, i find it quite gory and bloody, which personally makes me want to vomit when I see it animated. There were also some other creepy aspect's they applied to the show, such as a man morphing his dog and his own child together. I would adore this show if it weren't for those things.

I do recommend the show. Even if it's ended, it's an anime classic that everyone should see. Just a warning though, it is addicting! read more

'Death Note' is a unique anime that appeals to almost anyone who's a fan of Anime (and even to those who aren't). Not just for the plot, but for its appealing for its animation and soundtrack.

'Death Note' is ahead of time. With the writers thinking beyond what other script writers create, Death Note takes anime in a new, enjoyable direction.

Light Yagami is a straight A high-school student who discovers a 'Death Note,' dropped by the shinigami Ryuk. With its user following the proper rules of the Death Note, it can be used to kill anyone by writing their name into the book. Light takes it upon himself to 'clean' the city by killing criminals using the Death Note. Shortly after Light begins, the police become suspicious and investigate the mysterious killings, taking the show in an incredible direction of conflict, entertainment and surprise.

While the plot alone would be enough to win over any viewer, it's also its animation and soundtrack that's entertaining. Death Note takes its animation to a breathtaking level of realism (such as the cars, helicopters, city landscapes) and adds good detail into the characters. The soundtrack suits the show well, not just throughout the show itself, but it's opening and closing songs (Except the second opening...)

Hands down, one of the greatest anime around. read more

This anime is great! Why did it have to end so soon?

'Fruits Basket' has a compelling story line, great characters and humor! Why isn't it more famous? I'd like to know!

After Tohru lost her mother in a car accident she finds herself unexpectedly living with the Sohma's, a family of males with a secret. Whenever they are hugged by a member of the opposite sex or their bodies are under pressure, they turn into the animal of the year they born in from the Chinese zodiac. Tohru quickly learns this once she moves in, but as long as she keeps their secret, she can live with them.

The series in general is fantastic! Like the notes say in the beginning of the first volume, "take two parts drama, one part comedy, add a spoonful of romance and a pinch of magic and you partway there." I couldn't express it any better!

Overall, I'd recommend this show to any anime addict. read more
