Yea I'll prob buy it on steam sometime later, I heard they had a lot of updated features and change in the English voice acting. In the original whenever Americans would speak it was the worst engrish you ever hear.
I never truly appreciated Extra till I got to the end of alternative, I'll admit I liked Meiya the best if you couldn't tell so I was a little dissapointed midway through alternative but by the end of it Sumika grew on me and the way it was written it made Meiya's particular scene really impactful.

But yea the battles were crazy, I felt really invested in them and I think all of them left me in an emotional wreck at the end haha. Alternative is definitely unlike any VN I've played at least but I'm glad I played it and more than willing to buy it soon, and glad you liked it too. Not gonna lie though when I watched the trailer on steam it brought a tear to my eye when I heard that theme playing T_T

man that game killed me inside like 5 different times.

I'll think about it lol, for now I've just been playing this nukige called Kyonyuu Fantasy, it's surprisingly good. Once I finish that I think I'll check out Sharin no kuni.

It depends on the game. Some have nonsensical choices, but Rewrite, Fate/stay night, the good ones have choices that make sense imo. Like, yeah, the romance thing can be pretty obvious, but my first time going in blind in Rewrite I actually got a bad end. So it's most, but not all, and even if it's obvious I still prefer those choices to make some kind of sense. Comyu's choices just seemed completely nonsensical to me. But Kagome's route was great, so meh I guess.

Family Project huh? That's an interesting title. Careful there lmao, play all these VNs and eventually you'll catch up and play all translated ones there are, there's enough it's conceivable. :p

And no, I did not now that I think about it. Hmm. I will need to fix that soon, I remember being super excited at some of those routes. Black haired girl, Satsuki was it? I really liked her. Also that one other girl with the brown hair.

I dunno, it wasn't that shounen-y. It was pretty different to the rest, but not really like that. And nuuuu, don't even say that, I want Margit's after to be fantastic! :(

Lol, that was the issue, everything DID look really interesting to me, it wasn't till I was halfway through that I really started to dislike some of them and gave more attention to others. :p I also had way too much time back then, so that helped too, even watching all that airing stuff I still had time to watch a finished show or two.

Yeah haha, I figured. It's really not that long, I can probably finish it just this weekend. Well, if I didn't have a couple of other things to do this one lol, but maybe I'll play it next weekend. Yeah, we used to have long chats about just about everything. XD

I tend to do that as well, but I've always tried to pay attention to how those choices lead to the specific outcomes. Comyu really failed in that regard imho, it was hard to tell why any choice lead to where it did. And there were certain things like Hisoka not being in the common route, why does she show up after the first playthrough? What's up with that? There's also no choice that makes it whether she shows up or not, I originally thought she was a magician like Touri, maybe her daughter or her apprentice. But nope, just shows up out of the blue.

I liked Comyu, I did, plenty. But it did have some weird issues. I firmly believe it had potential to be one of the best visual novels made in the past few years, but it squandered a bunch of it.

I mean, for the most part I guess it was. I liked more than just Monshiro and Tsubame's routes though, the Agave route after was cool and had new stuff, and there were a couple of others that weren't too shabby too. The A-series is shaping up to be much better though.

I think there's supposed to be a Margit after route as well in one of them, I especially can't wait for that!

Yes, that's actually about how I feel too actually. I did really like Azumi though, but I think I did like Benkei just a bit better. But Azumi's route was so good. I was too too happy when Azumi accepted too~ It was so cute how she wanted to spring it up on him when they were already in the church and everything haha. I might've liked Sayaka better than Yukie too lmao, she was really cool too.

I knooooooooooow! I really can't wait for it, hopefully it's finished tl-ing before the year is up. I especially can't wait for robot girl, but Seiso-chan is gonna be great too~

I know that problem haha, I have tons downloaded and waiting for me to watch, but I don't even know what I should start with. I almost always end up watching something I don't even have downloaded yet haha. :p

I remember when I watched like fucking 20 shows for a few seasons lol. I don't know what I was thinking, and I think I still have a few shows from that time that I never got around to finishing. Nowadays I stick to 2-5 as well. I'm watching about 5 right now. Only thing is last couple of seasons have been packed with decent stuff, so I do miss a couple of good ones. I feel like I'm gonna hate working when I start, but I also can't help but feel I'll really like not having to come home to more work lol, just like that. Work's pretty chill huh?

Yes lol, that's exactly who my favorite character was. I love how we can recognize the characters we'll like right away. XD Yeah, character archetypes are a thing for a reason. Just looking at the hair color you can usually tell roughly what the character will be like. What, Sharin no Kuni is only 10-ish hours? Really? I must have played it for a lot less than I thought then...

Kagome's route is locked until you beat all the rest, so yeah, had to have been her. Yeah, that's pretty spot on. I mean, you got some extra info in Benio's route and in Hisoka's route, but all in all parts of their routes are showing up in Kagome's route, so it's like, why even... Not to mention the choice system in this game is so weak. There's barely any flags to enter a route from what I can tell, it's fucking one choice to go into Kagome's route apparently, and I can't even tell why it's that choice. It's honestly to the point I think it would have been better off as a kinetic novel, but whatever.

I've been meaning to, but... Yeah. Have you checked out the Planetarian anime? I haven't yet.

Ah, actually I did play and finish that one right before I started on Comyu, it's actually really great. Looking at A-1 I really have started to feel that S was kinda wasted potential, since the routes in A-1 were longer and general higher quality imo. Cept for a couple, like Monshiro's route or Tsubame's route. My favorite was probably Azumi's route because it was so different, but I loved Benkei's route a ton too, it was so chill and crap. Benkei is such a cutie, I love her. I can't wait to get to the rest of the clones in the rest of the A games either. There's still 4 more to go! Translation on A-2 is already underway iirc, these guys translate fast too, I really can't wait.

Kagome is pretty similar to Momoyo yeah, but Momoyo is much more playful. Kagome is kinda like what Momoyo would be if Majikoi was a "darker" story I guess. As for Miyako, I still feel pain~ I wish there was even more Miyako lmao.

I almost don't even come for that anymore lol, I just update my list whenever I remember for weeklies, or when I finish a show. Which isn't all that common nowadays for me either.

Yeah, I pretty much did. Nice to hear it picks up at least a bit though. Don't have the time to play through the VN anytime soon anyway, so it'll be nice to feel it a again at least a bit when the anime finishes.

Hmm, yeah, I kinda remember it being something like that. It had a really cool route system like that. I think I know the one you mean lol, but I don't remember her name. I really should get back into it sometime, but also part of the thing holding me back is that I don't remember much and don't want to play through the beginning again. >.>

The later routes lol? I played it in order, so Mayuki and Ayaya's routes where the later ones for me... Not exactly dark lol. Well, I haven't finished Kagome's route yet, I'm sure this'll be the darkest of all of them. It's already getting pretty dark actually, I'm at the part where they find the hundred damn bodies over at the gig after Nomad went on the rampage. It's interesting because so far this route is combining portions of every one of the routes it seems.

Kinda like rewrite huh? It feels like a bunch of different ones to me really. Like it just got inspiration from everything and tried to piece everything together, kinda like that doujin VN Acceptor N inside of the VN.

So far I really like Kagome. She acts so cold and crap towards MC, but I can't help but feel she's always so serious when she says she's head over heels for him and crap. I get the feeling she's doing tons of things for him in the background, and that's part of the reason why she's so frigid and everything. Except well, she already was when she was a kid apparently, but he said not as much.

Ayaya is cool, but her route... It was basically a side route, it relied on part of Mayuki's route, and it's definitely the shortest one. I didn't get why she was a Heroine. Mayuki's route too for that matter, it was good don't get me wrong, but it felt like it belonged to an entirely different game. >.<

I feel like I never come onto MAL anymore. There was a time when I came at least once a day... Kinda miss it. Before I know it, it's been almost two months since I've responded to you man.

Haven't really been watching Rewrite anymore, been waiting for it to finish to watch it in one go. How is it going?

ReZero is still going great, yeah. Rem is just too perfect, she deserves someone better than Subaru. T^T But damn I love every scene she's in.

I never did get to finish Sharin no Kuni. I really want to though. It was great in the end huh?

Right now I'm actually FINALLY playing Comyu. You finished Comyu a long time ago yeah? It's super interesting actually. A lot darker than I thought it would be for some reason. I really like how all the characters feel so natural, so real. MC isn't a virgin at the start, sex isn't some big deal blush thing to him, they're all showing relatively natural and diverse reactions to killing people, it's just pretty neat. I'm on Heroine 2's route right now. Benio's route was pretty decent, and Benio really grew on me as a character. Was she your favorite when you played? It feels like she's your type.

And yeah, I've heard, I'll get to relife eventually.
