She makes a brief appearance at the very end. I think it takes place in the last episode.

got me thinking this Macross universe talk must be a good entry to my list to watch... thanks for the review.. does dis universe series have the typical hero and more than one partners?

but it looked kinda outdated, something from 2008/2009 in 2016 is not a good selling point

Except that art in 2008 (and below) was much better than it is now.

Funny shit, I've just read your review on "Z/X: Ignition" and when you said your answer to the question of another season is "Infinite Stratos 2". It made me laugh because it eventually did come out so thanks for that.

(Funny thing is that for a long time I was really hoping IS2 would get another season and now I couldn't give less of a shit about it, I'll probably never watch it.)

Your review also helped me remove Z/X from my list so another thanks for that.
