I was not impressed by Melancholy too after first watching (not in proper order) but then I discovered after several other series how this anime is unusual comparing to many others.

Mr. M err Aetherys! Careful on the last 2 episodes of Sakamichi no Apollon... Not as bad as Clannad but still.

First time I discovered Kugimiya Rie in Gintama, she voiced Kagura-aru. And last series I watched with her work was Fullmetal Alchemist. She perfomed Elric amazingly. You showed me why people made her a top favorite person on MAL. Really, her Taiga's perfomance was very good. Also she voiced Shana (tsundere too) in Shaguna no Shana but I haven't completed it yet.

For me Hirano Aya will be on the first place as a woman seiyu. I love her Haruhi and Konata so much, especially Konata. Her vocal was so unbelievable beautiful in episodes and opening/ending songs. Sometimes I forget about her job and she looks for me more like a pop star.

Not so long ago I also discovered one unusual seiyu Omigawa Chiaki. She voiced P-ko in Arakawa under the bridge. Unfortunately her character was only supporting. She is also Maka from Soul eater but I haven't completed it too. Maybe you will like Arakawa. There is also Sugita Tomokazu as Hoshi in it. His character is so funny and so cool at the same moment.

I like Mio's, Kana's, Taiga's voices too and their seiyu made a great job. Especially I noticed Aizawa Mai, because Mio was really amazing! ^_^

I didn't know that my list was private. LOL Now it's not. Yes, I've seen Ichigo Mashimaro. I liked it and especially OVA in 3 episodes. Sometimes I can't believe that seiyu acting in two different anime could be one person. Orikasa Fumiko voiced Kuchiki Rukia and Matsuoka Miu. I would never have guessed by myself.

You should really watch Nazo no Kanojo X, also, I'm sure you'd like Upotte! probably a lot more than I do. :)

Thanks my man! I honestly think Dead Leaves was worse though, in case you were curious. They are both crowned with my legendary 3/10 rating though.

Hey there! Just wanted to be in touch with a cool person like you. =^_^=

To be honestly I noticed that you have Nichijou, Toradora and Minami-ke in your favorites. I like theme so-o-o much! You have a very nice sense of taste IMHO.

I guess, I mean, if I saw an anime with some remote artist I loved who has a painting or sculpture or something rendered even without the mention of the artists name... I'd be happy and think of it as an awesome anime just for that reason.

:P But still, the anime is a lot cooler than that first episode.

Soined | 05-07-12, 7:27 AM
Heh, they had an image of the art cover and did a bit of a song, but I guess you can call it a feature of an album. You can listen to Jazz outside of anime. The first episode was boring, the story has really picked up. If it continues along this path it'll be a really good anime that features Jazz, and the life of 2 younger people who aspire to be musicians and how they can find friendship despite coming from different worlds.

Although I should watch stating different worlds, since it IS an anime, I should instead say social class. :)

Soined | 05-06-12, 9:35 AM
Sure thing. I'll check it out. Also, I know I was hesitant to recommend Sakamichi no Apollon, like some of your other commentators have, however the show has really picked up, and if it keeps going in the direction that it is I think you'll enjoy it.

I'm grabbing it from whynot, though I haven't checked out who else is subbing it.
