Sure, but virtually everyone who has read "Battle Royale" likes him. Him and Kawada are amazing, but I'm even more impressed that the manga features the only female character to make my list of favorites, Taka.

i think everybody does but they had to show Light lose and for what reason. no reason at all because that was the obvious outcome of the whole anime so L's death would have been a surprise ending which would have been awesome :D

cool...my all-time favorite is Lucky Star...but other notables are Death Note, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, ef - a tale of memories, ef - a tale of melodies, Toradora!, Shuffle!, Baccano!, Kanon (2006) and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann...basically anything i rated a 9 or 10.
