In England, a female name Gabriel; an orphan girl from a fallen noble family becomes close friends with a young man named Jeremy, who is rumored to be an illegitimate child of a nobleman. Gabriel who is fated to be sold off to a nobleman as a maid servant, has a goal to becoming a nurse...Jeremy gets a letter from his nobleman parents saying they are coming to get him and send him to a prestigious school. Knowing this Jeremy is excited while Gabriel becomes jealous. A unforeseen accident occurs and Jeremy becomes ill...That night Gabriel watches over him. The next morning Gabriel wakes to check on Jeremy finding him half way off the bed unconscious. Jeremy had died. The nobleman shows up at this time seeing the accident and shows no signs of grief nor guilt, but instead offering Gabriel a offer she is unable to resist. Now she find herself in a place that may seem like heaven to others, but really hides a harshness which she would never have imagined.

Around this plot another plot but connect takes place involving two brother (Raymond and Euan Kensington) sons of a very powerful duke who tries to blackmail the eldest son Euan for his own greed;. Euan, pisses off his father, he engages himself in sexual acts with not only fellow male students but also maid ( Yavonne - a cunning character) a at the school. He also harbors a deep secret he wants to keep from Raymond because he fears it may bring back tragic memories he may not be able to handle a second time.

This clever manga does have another cunning character named Angela. Her first appearance she is introduced as Raymond's fiance. She secretly likes Raymond brothe Euan. And the first change she gets she blackmails Euan into engaging her.Causing a ruckus and havig the engagement between her and Raymond broken up. She has an older brother named Will who is suffering from a incurable and irreversible disease that keeps him in a appearance as he was at age 10 that's slowly but rapidly taking his life away.

This manga is so thrilling i was smiling and staring without blinking at each page..at times there are confusing parts but its not hard to bypass and forget later. This I recommend for people who are into suspense, thrillers,and mystery readers.

Nova's the main threat from a dimension have started a war with mankind. To counter this threat, an military like academy called "Genetics" that trains female warriors into becoming a nova like human called "Pandora," who can wield special weaponry and armor. Kazuya Aoi a boy, who decides to enroll in this school because of a promise with his sister, an outstanding Pandora who died in battle. There he meets a second year Satellizer L. Bridgette, better known as "The Untouchable Queen" due to her solitary manner and delinquent behavior, but also top of her class whose battle simulation streak is undefeated, until Aoi came...and caused the end of that streak.
Satellizer L. Bridgette is mercilessly when fighting, causing many commotions to upperclassmen who see her a arrogant and self-centered; who want to teach her where a underclassman's place is. She goes berserk when people touch her, and doesn't have the need for a limiter. (A limiter is a male counter partner who aids Pandora's when in battle, neutralizing the enemies movements. )
Kazuya Aoi persistently wants to become her limiter because he doesnt see her as " The Untouchable Queen" allowing him to be the first person to come in contact with her.
As the story goes on you'll see breathe taking battles, with a thriller sensation. And as far as i can tell because of fillers here and there this manga may be in for the long run. But the short fillers are so action pact you wont even mind them or consider them annoying, as they serve for answers to question in beginning of it all.
The characters are " to-each's-own " no character is the same. Looks can be deceiving, don't judge a book by its cover.
The "tag" Ecchi is laughable...just because of a little titty view..is ecchi. And its not ecchi like the manga "queens blade" i guess you could say its ecchi like "Immortal Regis"
I enjoy this manga so much...its in my top 5..the battles are lose, win situation so yes, the many main characters are allowed to die. Which i like because of the mature atmosphere...tragedy should replace the ecchi tag..sad events occur, but the show most go on. read more

Zippy already has a weird title so many people will most likely overlook it ( just like i did). Its not manga with a plot...its about a female who can kick some ass and a male with a mind to help him out of most situations compete against each other. The two do have some common points like both have facades about who they actually are. Basically they have people worship them for the things they don't do but take credit for.
The comedy is outrageously funny...the art is what adds to the extremely funny and stupid things that they do. So i really love the art...funny by itself.
I dont know what else to say except if you looking for some stupid but funny to read with great art this is probably the one for us both. read more

MASTERPIECE....is what this manga is. In my opinion...cliche....does not exist with this one. I prefer action over everything! action movies, animes, and books. And this is definitely action with a story you cant hate...the only time i find myself hating the manga, is when i'm "waiting" on the next release.

The first few pages of the first chapter...i "really" wanted to drop this, because it seemed like a very smutty action manga with a pointless plot, but in the middle of the first chapter i realized if i drop this i would have regretted it. Now im addicted to another manga besides Berserk.

14 extraordinary warriors given a dangerous task by their emperor as the 14 lances to defeat a dangerous enemy. One of the warriors Ascheriit (now named Koinzell), a young, prodigious swordsman so skilled grants him the title of Blade Master. Losing 3 on the way there..struck with fear the remaining 7 decides to give up. Ascheriit and the other 3 decides to complete the task, and completed it. On the way back the 7 others plotted in fear of being called cowards ambushes the 4, killing them. The 7 return to the emperor as heroes and gaining wealth and the citizens loyalty. Telling the emperor that Ascheriit and the other3 betrayed them branding them as the lances of betrayal. Ascheriit determined not to die raged in anger eats a fairy allowing him to return 20 years later in a different identity, but taking a toll good and bad on his body. This is a very nice manga nothing clique about it...and since im not really into the romance with comedy. This was prefect for me...the drama is really a slice of life...or should i say a slice of reality. It points out teens that falls into an adult world and comforts adult situations. Parent abandonment 'cause the child was not in a child's place{ not trying to sound harsh but...} Anywho the parents are also in the wrong.
( Its really hard to not spoil anything 'cause its really interesting and i really want to just say it all)
Shiika the main female lead is on rocks with her current boyfriend of four whole years..{ which is amazing for high schoolers by the way} gets support from the seemingly happy Megumi who is the main male lead.
But Shiika realizes even with her courage and Megumi's support the love and sparks still arent there; so she ends it.
Behind the scenes Shiika continues been Megumi's "friend" later to fall in with...She confesses her feelings to him getting only the truth behind his fake smiles.

Accompany by her childhood bodyguard/friend, Loki who has been with her since the slaughter of her family and the beginning of her misfortune. Caesar, the arrogant prince and the second son of Belquat, heartless King who see himself as supremacist above all.
But this isnt even the icing on the cake...Nakaba, the daughter of a beautiful commoner and a king who is the descendant of those who envisions the future; happens to inherit this gift must keep it a secret from the King...little does she know that that is the reason she is there and still alive by a thin thread.
Now, Caesar the prince who has no interest in the throne will now fight his brother for it, for the sake of his "wifes'" future because things happened and now he is in love with her.
This semi-mature manga seems to have it all...the drama, the excitement, the prince, princess, bodyguard, ( Loki- another possible love interest) war, hate, love, blood, schemes, ect. read more

Ok for me its like really...hard to get into shoujo/romance manhwa. because the names are hard to keep up with and the art sometime are out lined unnecessarily dark.
But the art was light, the characters are lovable; but this actually has a semi-serious plot to it, which was unexpected. Anywho, what grasp my attention to give it a chance was the synopsis: The main character is Dan-bi is famous in japan as a delinquent and the daughter of a Yakuza boss; she loves more than anything is killed before her eyes. She is blinded after they attacked her making her father's death the last thing she sees with her own eyes. Her mother sends her to Korea, where she get an eye transplant.

"Things get complicated when a mysterious boy who looked in on Dan-bi when she was in the hospital. This boy always looks so sad, and once he even asked for permission to kiss Dan-bi's eyes."
Dan-bi is focused on revenge even though she has a curiosity of love she does not pursue it.

The many male characters{SPOILER...they all have some relation to the person who donated her eyes} that gather around Dan-bi are unpredictable at times, which makes you think...well, who(if) is she going to fall for? read more

Neiro, notorious for being good at fighting since her childhood, causing people to fear her and making it hard to have a mutual love relationship. She decides to transfer to another highschool were no one knows her in hopes of finally finding love. On her first day there day she finds a boy beating up (bullying) a few students and charges without thinking and punches the boy. Which later she finds out the situation was visa-versa; he was just defending himself. Dealing with the consequences she is placed in a classroom specially assembled for delinquents.
In the mist of sulking she finds a boy sleeping under a tree..even after he finds out about her he does not fear her..causing her to fall in love with a boy...{but somethings not right}.
**Review: Its been awhile since i've read a manga where most of the characters are so odd in a very amusing way...i love it. The "comedy" is never ending, even if you had a problem with the way you were reading it with previous mangas this is guaranteed to hilarious, of-the-wall to make you laugh. Although its not a" slice of life" manga it give you the feeling with different attires( sometimes...ok rarely, but the point is, its not always school uniforms) and hairstyles. While im enjoying the enjoyment with forecasting twists..you will probably fly through chapters enjoying this manga

This extremely outstanding manga...at the top of my list of manga. A young teen with a tragic and never forgetful past; she becomes a person who is afraid of men, due to the sexual abuse of the step-father; has nightmares and flashbacks and battles depression. She gets pregnant by him..causeing her body to change her mother notices and ask who was the father; she tells her step-father is, emotionally. Her mother then verbally assaults her..other events takes place cause her to have a miscarriage. Later to face reality due to a second pregnancy and begs her daughter for forgiveness. ( Of course there are other emotional events that are deeply attached to each other)

**This is a mature love story about a boy unintentional finds out her secret and finds himself wanting to be there for her, protect her and later comforts his feelings that he loves her. Unable to get close to her cause of her fear of men but due to the fact that she overhears him saying he does not see her a a girl she allows herself to be befriended by him.

I cant but feel that this might be someones story..but it possibly cannot be easy to watch your body grow with a baby who carries the DNA of your rapist. I would imagine doing so must be extremely painful and emotional for the people who go through this_

{ Story-10} Outstanding every heard of never judge a book by its cover...ya this is one of those, i mean i've probably overlooked this one numerous times. Its about a female whose had quite a rough past with her father; doing what he does for his occupation his daughter has been kidnapped and faced lots of near death situations. A shinobi from a different era falls in a lake in a attempt to save his princess who he dutifully bodyguards; unknowingly time slips to present life.

{Art-9} The art is very nice in some mangas i've come across, i had to carefully look at the pictures to see just what the hell i was looking at

{Character-9} Nothing clique about the characters and they seem to be very original...all with some bad memories, and facing difficult situations ( little tragedy involved but nothing to make you pause the manga so that you can find tissue to wipe away tears)

{Enjoyment-9} Reading the genre its very misunderstood...comedy little to none...it has a mature atmosphere. Not a strict mature setting but enough romance to hope things work out between the shinobi "Romeo and Juilet"

{Overall-9} Its added to my favorite mangas list with hardly none...i dont really understand why its ranked low nor rated as average...but its one i recommend so do read when you've spared the time read more
