Hello! I'm just a 25 year old female who has been in this anime watching and manga reading business since about '98.
I prefer to consume my anime in a legit manner, so I will take DVDs or legal streams over fansubs any day of the week. Anything that is not a DVD is merely a preview in my eyes, so I don't really care about video quality or whatever. But that's just me. *shrugs*
My ratings depend far more on my own enjoyment than actual quality. I also rate on a 5 point scale, which means 5 is the lowest score I will give.
I use my tags as a way of indicating how I watched a show (fansubs, DVD, stream, etc).

Welll... have you seen my Plan to Watch list? I kinda sorta plan to watch EVERYTHING, so it may be awhile before I get to it. But just because it stood out like a sore thumb on that list, it pricked my curiosity.
