Thank you for that review on C. It saved me from lashing out at all the critics who only know how to pick faults and end up blind to the essence of that story. Actually, the story even tells people to stop being so focused on what's directly in front of them.

About C review
"The story line of this anime is extremely unique, nothing else like it exists."
You need to explain this part a bit more, since there is absolutely nothing original for the past 60 years.
"I felt that they had a goal in mind from the start and reached that goal in a more conclusive and satisfying manner than most animes are able to achieve. If you think they strayed off onto wild tangents and didn't seem to know where they wanted to take it, then I would say you need to watch it again and watch it much more closely this time. Although a bit predictable, they did build up the story in a meaningful way to reach their desired outcome."
And this is what most people felt entirely different than you. The "satisfying outcome" you refer to is basically the protagonist using a magical card he had all along to reset everything. So this alone makes all the plot since episode 1 to be uselss. Also, you are wodering why didn't he use it earlier, why was it given to him, why wasn't it explained, and many more.

Ehh I dont really Think it'll be bad at all to be honest, I mean one of my Favorites - Zombie desu ka? was about a guy dying and become a "slave' zombie but turned out to be so awesome xD
I'll definitely give it a shot :) There are so many animes i want to try right now so bad.. out of my whole PTW i have maybe 20 that i watch to watch THIS SECOND! But getting download links can be difficult at times :(
